i mean, the biggest comparison between your current troll builds and your old troll builds, apart from the fact you are uploading videos, is that your old troll builds ran into a brick wall when you rat into chicken nugget T16 maps your new ones, as cursed and shitfaces as they are, are clearing mavens and what not. Thats... yeah, nice good
you can use searing bond totem and another 2 link flame dash+ spell totem. the totem will jump onto enemies like mad dog and they will got hit by the searing bond. if you use 2x6l(staff and armor) you can do 6l searing bond and 6link flamedash. they can reach dot cap 35mill dps(flame dash burning ground+searing bond burning). back in ultimatum when we kill enemies in circle i got to 20mill dps with just searing bond.
I've tested this before in Standard... Had 10 at a time when I tried and the base burning damage is great but WOW the mana costs are CRAZY on this skill. Also some melee monster's reach extends farther than the "around" range of searing bond's AoE (the tiny one in the description of the skill even though it has no Area tag). Neat to see it played out to such extent though!

Having played searing bond to the mid 90s in fresh SSF on three occasions with the goal of killing bosses, I can confirm, it is a trash build and it should not be played. I never really pushed for lots of totems on it, since damage/beam is generally more important (though Simus look almost playable with 11 totems). It's kind of interesting to see all of the options you have with searing bond now though. When I first played it, there was no 6th damage link, so I ran minion and totem elemental resist. Great to see it get some love, even though it definitely does not deserve it.

searing bond just needs a bigger hitbox... most melee monsters can hit you or your totems while not standing in the beam^^.

Searing Bond is by FAR my favorite skill. It is truly terrible however.
