Wow just Wow, I'm absolutely blown away by the result of all of your efforts on this build Jamie. The Mk XII is such a beautiful bird and you and Mathieu have captured it perfectly, just stunning. Your work never fails to amaze me. keep up the brilliant work and looking forward to following your next Project. Best Wishes, Andrew :)
Absolute tour de force Jamie...fantastic !!!!!....excellent photography and love the way you explain how you do yr airbrushing and yr other effects....inspirational mate 😊
Loved following this build and the finished result. I got a set of 1man army masks for my 32nd Mossie whenever I get round to it, you made your set really make the difference on the Spit Jamie.
Oh yes! What an absolutely stunning model Jamie! 👌 I can't tell you how much I enjoy your Video's! Your narration is spot on too, with tips and explanations for every stage of the build. The paintwork on this one is a masterclass of finishing. Running out of superlatives to describe your work mate! 🤣 I think this is my favourite build of yours now, the Griffon front end is just so purposeful and as I've said, the finish is superb. Can't wait for the 48 conversions now! Oh , and the JP of course! Thanks again for posting your builds, appreciated and enjoyed in equal measure. 🙏 Enjoy your holiday home time mate 👊 Bobby
Stunning work as usual. I agree with you on the 1ManArmy masks. I used them on my 1/24 Spitfire Mk9 build and as you rightly say they are a game changer.
Another masterpiece, Jamie. I've got some One Man Army masks to use on one of my Spitfire projects and I'm really looking forward to using them. BTW, thanks for the tip on using dark earth as an undercoat for the marking red.
Another absolute beauty Jamie - so its not the paint that makes the difference as this is Tamiya instead of the usual MRP so it must be down to you as the painter - kudos. I got my self the 1Man Army stencils for my 1/48 Mk.1 spitfire and definitely getting some for my Kotare 1/32 Mk VA which arrives today - they are works of art - Sven is truly an artisan!
Great result! Tip from my side: instead of using pure white, I use quite often MRP-246 LIGHT ARCTIC GREY FS36628 instead. Especially if there are other white things to be painted (like invasion stripes), just to make them different. I use that more and more and I am very hapy with the result. One other thing - you should try Liquitex Inks for weathering (both as pre- and post-shading). They can be applies with sponge first (various colors), painted over with base coat, and then blended in like oil paints. They can be easily diluted with Tamiya thinner, or even wiped clean off. I think they are awesome and they add more layers to weathering. Any way - awesome job!!

A fantastic model my favourite mk12 Spitfire
Tamiya's acrylics are so good but their lacquers are fantastic.
It look fabulous!!

Jamie. Is there any chance to give us some idea where did you get the display cupboards please.
Can someone explain to me why yellow stripes were painted on the front of Spitfire wings?
I believe it was to enable pilots to distinguish between friend or foe when another aeroplane was behind them.
Lovely . M
