I still have those tools. I use them as I see fit. I like to be open-minded and use other products that are out there. Yes, Tamiya does make good model kits. They really think about their customers mindset first in designing their products. I want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.

Oh, that was a little light humor on the mud effects. I’m glad to see you trying out some other options such as the AK & MIG products for weathering but nothing wrong with some traditional old school products as well. Like your famous trademark goes: I am not an expert, but a regular guy like you & it’s all about having fun. Merry Christmas to you as well from Southern California.

G’day mate. Great subject and great build/finish. I like how you review as you go. That’s really good and something a little different and very innovative. I also love how your cat is a bit of a camera hog and wants to get into the action. That’s something a lot of us with pets can relate to. I can’t wait for your next build. Anyway, I'm not entirely sure what is my next build will be because I'm more into the holiday season, I'll figure it out soon. Hello Dear qdc, great work as always. I've started with modell building again after getting a little older and getting a good job that pays me more then enough to buy everything I need for a good looking result, and I must say it's the most enjoyable time I've in a while. And that's only because 8 years ago I clicked on video of you. I think it was the Leopard 1 video and since then I've whatched every single video and you're olders one as well. But there is one thing I always wondered and wanted to know. How does you're modell building room look like? That would very nice to see maybe in a short or in a short video. Because everyone wanna know how the magic wall clock looks like! Cheers! :)

Thank you for sharing a little bit of yourself and for your kind words about me. This hobby is a very enjoyable at any age and it's nice to know that you enjoy it. I was similar to you. I built model kits when I was a child but when I grew up, I left it behind because I became a man. But, as a man, my responsibilities as an adult are challenging. I don't remember exactly when, but I was reminiscing of my youth one day and I thought it would be fun just to relive, for a very brief moment, my youth again by building a model kit, so I did. I like doing that a lot but I found out that by building a model kit, it controlled by stress level and my overall health became better. So I kept building them as part of my health and enjoyment. At the time, RUclips had elite model kit builders showing their work and they made it appear that this hobby was an elitist activity. I didn't like that so I decided to show people that an average person like myself can enjoy this hobby. I used my utility room as workstation to build and make videos on RUclips. I don't have a large house so my utility room had to be my hobby room. I'm nobody special, I just an average guy. Thank you again for your kind words and to let us know a little bit about yourself. Take care.

The place you went to is probably the least interesting "history location" in Berlin.
This city lives and breathes history on every corner.
Not just 3rd Reich but Prussia, cold war and so much more.
Buildings, locations and areas where very important events happened sometimes going back hundreds of years.
Hitler's Bunker - or the place where it once was - is completely unspectacular even if it were still "there".
Go Bendler Block, Tempelhof Airfield, Brandenbuger Tor, East Side Gallery, Berlin Dom, Holocaust Memorial, Tiergarten,
Museum Island, Reichstag, Bellevue Castle or Charlottenburg Castle just to name a few places way more interesting than Hitler's former Bunker.

Great build and video presentation! It would have been nice if Tamiya would have included an all-metal gun barrel with the kit but I'm sure it would have increased the MSRP of the kit quite a bit, or at least offer an aftermarket all-metal barrel like they do for their Panther Ausf. D (MM-345). I have two Tamiya Nashorn kits and a Nashhorn crew figures set in my stash that I plan to build, someday.

Thank you for your kind words. I would like a metal gun barrel but you're right. It would have increased its cost. I never thought about Tamiya offering it as a separate aftermarket product. That would be nice. I was tempted to build my Nashorn with a winter camouflage so I can use the figures but my skills in painting a winter camouflage are lacking. That's a challenge I need to work on. I want to wish you and your family happy holidays. Take care.
