Thank you very much for your content. Your videos of the Airfix Skyhawk and Tamiya Chieftain were a helpful resource for my recent builds. I also enjoy the sounds of your model construction like the parts clipping and air brushing. It just adds something special.
You are very welcome. My quiet and easy-going approach in building and painting kits is a hallmark of all of my videos. I'm glad you like it. I want to wish you and your family happy holidays!!!
Nice build. I was surprised to see you not using bondo spot & glazing putty or towel grout for the mud effects! I love Tamiya. They are not overly engineered or complicated.
I still have those tools. I use them as I see fit. I like to be open-minded and use other products that are out there. Yes, Tamiya does make good model kits. They really think about their customers mindset first in designing their products. I want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.
Oh, that was a little light humor on the mud effects. I’m glad to see you trying out some other options such as the AK & MIG products for weathering but nothing wrong with some traditional old school products as well. Like your famous trademark goes: I am not an expert, but a regular guy like you & it’s all about having fun. Merry Christmas to you as well from Southern California.
G’day mate. Great subject and great build/finish. I like how you review as you go. That’s really good and something a little different and very innovative. Hello Dear qdc, great work as always. I've started with modell building again after getting a little older and getting a good job that pays me more then enough to buy everything I need for a good looking result, and I must say it's the most enjoyable time I've in a while. And that's only because 8 years ago I clicked on video of you. I think it was the Leopard 1 video and since then I've whatched every single video and you're olders one as well. But there is one thing I always wondered and wanted to know. How does you're modell building room look like? That would very nice to see maybe in a short or in a short video. I built model kits when I was a child but when I grew up, I left it behind because I became a man. But, as a man, my responsibilities as an adult are challenging. I like doing that a lot but I found out that by building a model kit, it controlled by stress level and my overall health became better. So I kept building them as part of my health and enjoyment. At the time, RUclips had elite model kit builders showing their work and they made it appear that this hobby was an elitist activity. I didn't like that so I decided to show people that an average person like myself can enjoy this hobby. I used my utility room as workstation to build and make videos on RUclips. I don't have a large house so my utility room had to be my hobby room. I'm nobody special, I just an average guy. Thank you again for your kind words and to let us know a little bit about yourself.
