Alright for a small theater, but some definite work is needed. Charlie and Pepper should have been recast. They both overact a ridiculous amount--Charlie much moreso. He pantomimed damn near every line he sung and it left him audibly out of breath and off-pace far too often. Not every line needs to be pantomimed, it makes it look cheesy and in a cast of 5 people it makes him stand out for all the wrong reasons. As far as Pepper, the little Mariah Carey note-hitting hand motion she makes is way too over the top for a song that doesn't actually hit that many octaves. Also she doesn't know how to play sexy and goes way overboard. Costuming is also to blame because...a short horozontal striped skirt? Not sexy. She should've been slinky and sexy and not like a drunk girls gone wild chick. The bit towards the beginning where she and Charlie did the little twirl move off to the side with each other during "either it's real or it's nothing at all" was such a huge eye-roll and didn't fit at all with the song, the cast or the production.
ayeeee this shit lit on fo nem
