I think I might buy it
Can you tell us how much screen on time are you getting on a medium to heavy usage?
FE no longer stands for "Fan Edition" and I think that's correct. Should have been called S23 Lite IMHO. This isn't for a fan rather it is for someone like my wife who recently got this: Perfect for someone who is not obsessed by "state-of-the-art" but still wants high quality. The battery probably is 4500, due to the enhanced cooling inside. That keeps the FE cooler than last year's S22 (BTW, my wife has the Snapdragon issue being in the U.S.) and it easily lasts her well over a day and a half. My take? I have the s23 (6.1" as I prefer compact phones) - when I use my wife's FE I notice very little difference in display quality, quickness/smooth operation, or anything else. The cameras are fine, but then neither of us are pro photographers I agree that the fingerprint sensor is set a bit too low, prefer where it is on the s23, but although it is optical vs. ultrasonic, it is responsive and accurate. Not thrilled with the bezels, but in all truth, once I'm using it I quickly lose notice. Size-wise the FE is right on par with both the A54 and the s23 +, so unless you want a smaller phone (like me), size should be no issue. It is a "not quite" flagship phone that is a cut above mid-range phones such as the A54. How you buy it matters! With a trade in through our carrier, the price differential from the A54 was not all that much.
I have a question why can't i get the color mint in 256gb at metro or Verizon? Those are the two things i use also best buy.
Is it because its sold out ir don't have it in 256gb? I haven't gotten a new phone for a while now and i just wanna do my research
So, in your opinion what's the best phone for around 1000 usd ? Gotta ask, thinking of changing from my one plus 3T.
Wow, OnePlus 3T.
There are quite a lot of good choices, assuming that you can get them at a discount.
My top choices are Galaxy S23 Ultra and the OnePlus 11
Well I already order it yesterday, just waiting to arrive. I don't play game on phone that much, I game only when I travel far but only light game like Sudoku, etc just to kill time, most of the time I game on PC/Console when I'm home. I will still try running aethersx2 with this phone tho. They gave me gaming package because I buy Indigo color which maybe I will use it for steamlink and remoteplay. I probably record the unboxing in a few days (just don't hope for high quality video). Why I chose this over base S23? Base S23 still $200 more expensive in Indonesia (with 128GB storage) and I don't like 6.1" phone because my hands a bit big and S23+ is way more expensive. Why not Xiaomi or other brands? Believe me, in this price range I don't think I have any other choice for all rounder phone (unless you wanna buy 2nd hand phone or chinese phone). I also don't like buying 2nd hand phone, so many bad experience with it. Also if this phone breaks in the future, the sparepart still way cheaper than S22 & S21 FE. I was planned to pre-ordered S24+/S24 Ultra next year but I change my mind, because I need to save some money for next year of my life and buy PS5. This is my second FE phone after Note FE. So I'm just glad they still release the FE. I mean it still have flagship performance (an improved Exynos 2200 of a year old flagship), no matter how old your phone if it'a flagship, it will always be a flagship. The phone value is not always about how it can game.
I have a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, do you or anyone else think this would be an upgrade or is my current phone still superior?
Depends on which context. If you want the S Pen then continue using the Note 20 Ultra. Else, get this
coming from s21fe sd888, lots of heat... should i upgrade to s23fe exynos? phone is used mostly for taking pics, casual gaming (diablo immortal, genshin, coc)
You should
My wife has the s23 FE, does not get very hot at all, but it is the U.S. Snapdragon version, can't comment on the exynos version, but hers runs noticeably cooler than the s22 with the same chipset.
I have the s21fe. Far better than this one. Anyone who is interested in a great Samsung phone in a great price, the s21fe is the phone to buy. Has 3 more android updates to get.
Yes Fan Edition.. untuk pencinta Samsung.. mereka tak kisah mcm mana pun spesifikasi nya.. tetap akan beli.. sama juga seperti Apple Fan.. tetap akan beli juga..
Aku pun tak kisah kalau S23 FE ni murah
Glad I went for the S23 instead. I feel like I would've regretted cheaping out and settling for this thing.
Definitely. The S23's price is already so low now, the price of this FE is unjustifiable at retail.
i think samsung want to follow like apple for example iphone se series.. im not a heavy gamer but, i consider FE as good "budget" (walaupon ada A54) --->cheap also..
Processor S23 FE 2x lebih baik dari A54 dan punya kamera lebih baik juga, so I think we can justify the S23 FE price for the features, performances and materials.
The pricing in my location is about 400$ 256gb
Does it worth buying at that price? should i go for regular s23?
(S23 sells for 750$)
That's quite a significant price gap. Maybe take a look at the OnePlus 11?
@@NasiLemakTech
Actually prices are little weird here like:
S23 plus stands for 830$
S23 ultra 900$
One plus 11 800$
Xiaomi 13t pro 530$ (512gb)
S23 fe 440$
(All in 256gb spec)
I was thinking about getting the s23fe with galaxy watch 6 classic or maybe I'll wait for s24 series introduction. until then I'm gonna purchase the watch 6 classic with my current phone(galaxy a70)
Is that a good plan?
@@Mani_2085 I mean it's obviously better if you go for the S23 rather than the FE but the price gap is also rather big.
I'll say go with your gut feeling in this regard
$400 for 256gb? Then S23 FE is no brainer. It still about $485 for 128GB in my country if you buy it outside their official store ($580 without discount).
@@dikkado actually some reviews got changed my mind and I didn't bought that phone instead im going to buy regular Iphone 13 for $680( dual physical sim with 128GB storage) and trade that with my brother's iphone 13 pro (for free).
The thumbnail says "Fans for asked this?" 😭
Was waiting for this comment. You didn't disappoint 🤣
In samsung store s23 fe can get rm2349 is it worth
Kinda, better if it's around RM2.1k
SenHeng Shopee was selling it at RM21xx during the sales earlier this month.
Yep, that's where I got the screenshot.
Fans for, asked this 😂😂
Except Samsung says that FE no longer stands for Fan Edition. I agree with them, I would have called it s23 Lite.
Fans for asked this
Finally, a comment that I waited for
Is this considered as Flagship phone too?
Yesteryear's flagship is this year's upper mid-range I think?
Hmm, in between I think. I will say my wife's s23 FE feels and performs pretty much on par with my s23 - I don't notice much difference outside of the bezels and the low placement of the optical thumb reader. Definitely a cut above mid-range such as the A54.
I think it's super mid range lol
Even if they ever release A74 this year, I don't think A74 can compete with S23 FE.
It is considered highend
Had this phone for 3 months now and it is far and away the worst phone i have ever used. Terrible screen illumination for driving (mounted with google maps), constant glitches and bugs, refuses to make calls without wifi for whatever stupid reason, constantly disconnects from my xar Bluetooth while driving (my one Plus never did that), i could go on. Ive only ever used android, too, so im not some apple worshipper complaining just because
Any phone that can't play genshin at max settings is considered trash in todays standards
Then all phones are trash 🤔
And what kind of your phone lil boy ? Rog or something ?
Looks like a lot of indians there
This phone is overpriced and that pathetic processor and the dreaded samlagg after a while and those bezels and that boring outdated design are all deal breakers
That's all your opinion man
Yeah written by xiaomi garbage user🤣
Bruh, the processor isn't optimized 🗿
@@AhmedIbrahim_ bro it doesn't matter if it's optimized or not the exynos processor is trash
