I'm really glad to see someone reacting to this live performance, especially a professional who can appreciate Kim Petras's performance here. I really hope she gets bigger in the US, so hopefully this song is a way for more people to be introduced to her. Honestly I have no idea why Kim's vocals are so much quieter in the studio mix, because I'm LIVING for the way she belts here. I think they did her dirty on that!!
By the way, when you were talking about the yodeling thing, you very quickly said "oder" and I had to check if you were German :)
100% I prefer the live version here too. Lol those German words slip out sometimes. Nope I am not, I am a New Zealander living in Germany. 😉 I really hope she gets bigger here too!
Didnt realise how good Kim actually was. At the end when she jumped on with Sam she made have a different dimension and that’s hard to do. Props 👏👏

I totally get what you're saying about dancing around the house with the sound way up and no one watching.. The bass is great, the choir, Sam... It's all a massive hit. The official video hits even harder.

okay imagine husband is secretly like a john wick james bond style character or vise versa over this song. member of rival gang/ those with vendetta to kill character follow in all mother/counterpart character sees in single person blasted out of shop then full shoot out partner lead around and as they pull down alley they see partner just tear apart enemy one after another in beautifully choreographed fight scene with hand to hand and gun play as eventually when the counterpart to driver partner sees them return to vehicle you hear line "doing something unholy" and sound cuts as both characters look at each other as engine revs up as they pull away from scene first main scene of both worlds interacting but it shows that person will defend and go back to said person driving be it partner romantically physically or beyond

@@ZoeStibiVocalCoach while the sheet music does show the correct key signature, I would be cautious in taking their word for things like key. Yes, the song uses the key signature of F# minor / A major, however it should be a clue that neither of these are the key considering the chord progression never has either of these chords and the melody centers around C#. In reality, this song is closest to C# (or Db) Phrygian Dominant (shown by the regular E#s in the sheet music), with some borrowed passing tones from the regular C# Phrygian (when the E is naturalized). This makes sense because C# Phrygian uses the same key signature as F# minor / A major.
