Good video. I got a 2021 unit a little while back and just got a super salty unit in last weak for another setup and was using a d2 prior to that and I gotta say, they are fantastic overall but man the d2 illuminator has ruined me. I ordered a villains diffuser which is how I found your channel. I was just shooting some steel at 25-30y last night and low power was not quite high enough and high power was just washing me out on steel so I’m hoping it will work out for me. If eotech would just release the OGL I think we’d all be stoked. Or if Holosun released a VCSEL unit!

I run Surefire dual switches and Modlite switches on all my IR boxes and weapon lights. I have given a great deal of thought about trying out the unity hot button as well.
You'd be correct to be wary of ebay. Lots of faux products. The best place to find FP units would be the secondhand marketplace websites, such as Tacswap, another good spot is night vision Facebook buy/sell groups. They vary in price based on Date of Manufacture (DOM), condition and unit.
