I just purchased this guitar on Friday, put my preferred strings on it and I'm just blown away by the tone. Of all the reviews of this guitar that I've seen since, this is the best review. I play the same style of music and seeing someone else play what I play so I can hear it from the listener's perspective has been very beneficial.
This is the style of guitar playing that I would like to master. I see that he is a master of scales and chord progressions. There's a lot to be learned here.
Well done Jarvis! You play with such passion and love, that shines through. So enjoyable to watch and be inspired by you. Wishing you and your family love and happiness.
Very nice job Jarvis I've had one of these since 2/19 and really like it. Hard to beat (in my opinion) for the price and comes with a very nice bag. Hope you move a lot of them
Hey Jarvis, I've listened to a few other videos of the Martin D10E, but that guitar sounds much better on yours. For a small guitar, it sounds outstanding! Martin builds most of their guitars with a little magic and from your video, they sure didn't leave the magic out of that one. You do some fine videos buddy! Your love of music and guitar shines it all of them. Thanks!
Tom E Muncey Great comments from you and everyone else Tom!!! I did not go to Guitar Center to buy the D10-E Road Series Sapele, in fact they had a used Taylor Acoustic/electric made from Koa that was worth way more than the $1100 as it was in excellent shape. I was making one last swoop of 6-7 rounds of all the guitars and spied this DRS10-E. I could not put it down. Now I wasn't certain about the Taylor. I had them side by side and the determining factor was action and feel on the fretboard! It was no competition. Martin has the best tone, feel, action. I got my first ever real Martin. ( Had a Sigma once). Maybe I'll get a Taylor or carbon fiber guitar one day, but for the foreseeable future this is the stuff. Best review I can remember. Hearing it played by Harvis is the best testimony.
I must admit, I don't know most of the chords he is playing, obviously this starts out with a G chord, with a lot of hammer on and off, I see Am, D, looks like an Em7 is in there also, I hear this type of music all the time on the radio, but have never figured out exactly how to play it. This video is just as valuable for instruction as well as for promoting Martin guitars. Thanks.
“I always get carried away with Martins” Join the club man. Martin guitars are Superbly made. They play well, sound amazing and just Feel good in your hands and against your body. Whenever I pick up my DRS1 and start strumming away, I just Cannot put it down. The ONLY other Brand of guitar that’s made me feel that way is Taylor.
Musikerong Panday Yamaha LL16 is a modern tone and the pickup can be change or upgraded anytime you want. The D10e is a real martin traditional tone ...
@@TheGuitarSpaSingapore hey Jarvis your such an inspiration to an amateur acoustic guitar enthusiast like myself. At the moment I'm leaning towards Martin D12 and will take a visit and play it on the store, there's a great chance that I'll be taking it home before the weekend. Thanks to your review I'll have my first Martin.
Musikerong Panday Im going to review the Martin Streetmaster .. D15m and 000-15m hopefully by the end of today so watch that before you decide as these ones are a class of its own
@@TheGuitarSpaSingapore you know at the start I started looking at Yamaha LL16 then I saw the LL26 (not available here in Australia), then I saw Marin D10e and D12e these guitars are still within my price range. I mean it just gets better and better and expensive too 😅 always on a look-out to your great video reviews Jarvis 👍🏽

Hi jarvis, how do you think the d10e tone compares to a bluerudge br160 or br163 which i have also seen you review, as i know the blueridge is higher spec for a similar price. Thanks!
a Blueridge can't be compared to a martin no matter what they say...the internal built quality of the Blueridge under the spruce is extremely rough...you do get what you pay for..
Gosh dude, I'm a guy and you were tugging on my heart strings there! Very well done
This is THE best review of this guitar anywhere. Many Thanks!!!
Wow, you get a really nice sound out of that guitar...well done, Jarvis. I just bought this model, Thanks for showing me how sweet it can sound.
Love listening to you play & explaining the features of all the guitars. You always do a good job Jarvis. Thank you for your time & talent.

Same! Taylor guitars and Martins just wreck the competition!
Definitely is better 10e sapele or 10e sitka?
wich is more worth the price for their sound martin d10e or eastman e2d-cd?
I will take the martin
Love watching you play brother
My pleasure

Could you go into more detail about the pickup please?
Yamaha LL16 or Martin D10e? Looks like this one has a better electronic pick-up than the passive LL16.

what do you think this d10e vs taylor 214 e koa or drs 2 ? im about to get djr 10e or gs mini until i listen those 3 guitar hahaha . . .
D10 and 214 are larger guitars and the junior is a small pack with lots of juice which you will play more at home .. D10 is very warmth sounding
@@TheGuitarSpaSingapore the d10 and drs2 warm and bright balance and when its comes to sound djr not even close. do you turn down bass tune ?
Kind of the junior normal size 🤔🤔

the martin juniors sounds better imo

Agree. I have both, but my Jr is a few years old now so tone has become richer.
