Anarchist and green activists have been doing this for ages But now the lib media has found it, so now it's a news worthy new thing and "the activism we need"
I love this and I wish more people would do it. I’ve been doing this and picking up trash in my community. It feels good to know other people are doing it too.
I think I'll start. I LOVE BEES ❤❤❤ Seriously, the only reason I don't use weed killer is to not harm them (😩😩 makes upkeep so much more time consuming, but anything for the bees).
There's a patch of dirt a block from where I live that has been empty of life for years. Thanks for this magnificent action I intend to follow as soon as I buy seeds from my neighborhood hardware store.
We did this on a city overlook that had a water fountain that drained on the ground. Other people joined in bringing up seeds and plants and watering the ones that were there, magic on the once desolate hilltop.
I like that they are taking self initiative for change, I like how it's inexpensive and impactful, I love them having fun, and I super enjoy them dancing in bee outfits 😅😅😅 I would love to do this 🙂🙂
Especially in the highway can you imagine driving around and looking at something so beautiful yet helping I think about everytime I see an empty space
This is really cool. I’m in sf and my parents really love all the different flowers we see when we are walking. Always trips me out how these flowers grow but it’s cool to know someone cares and is helping the earth 😊 thanks
Bless your hearts guys. 🙏 Don’t I wish they wld be doing the same ALL over our country for this is indeed a blessing & beneficial to all environments. Why not make this vid go viral? How cld I forget thanking you; So thank you!
This made my day. I'm about to start doing the same after fall season. This give me so much joy just watching can't imagine how great it'll feel to see the flowers grow.
I totally believe that a balance of food and native plants is what everyone should plant who has gardens.... I see lawns and cities and just see desolation... these people are bringing back life to the earth
This is a really great idea, and I know they mention this in the video, but please be careful about what you spread and where! I had a friend who had this happen to her front lawn repeatedly, with several species of wild flowers she was allergic too! If you’re going to do this idea, please restrict it to public places and golf courses!
If everyone actually care like they do we would be in a much better place I recently started planting from My balcony it keeps me busy and something to look forward and I’m loving it my rue plant attracted a black swallowtail now I have about 8 eggs waiting for the transition
This is very nice. Do they have to buy the seeds themselves? In my country, we are not allowed to plant except at small designated community plot A government agency handles the greenery
@@SuccessforLifester i have a solution to keep everyone smiling and happy. They should go around planting Cannabis. It makes a beautiful umbrella-like bushy potted plant that’s great for smoking, too. Lol. Could you imagine? Hugs!
This. This is the kind of activism that we need. People doing something simple and smart that results in something beautiful and so very important.

See this right here is why I started a wild flower garden this year and I absolutely love seeing all the bees and butterflies.
This just made my day start off much nicer! How fun to bring in wild flowers back to an area!
The return of "flower power" and as a neohippie, this makes me super happy! :D
I fill my yard with flowers that pollinators would love.
Yep! I'm the strange wizard on the corner with the green man on his tree stump and tons of wild junk going on.
Normalize planting native wildflowers!
I am so happy I live in San Francisco!!! This couple is amazing! This is the true spirit of San Francisco alive and well!
I've been doing this for 6 decades now. Get your nature on when walking or running. The earth will love you back
Every city needs these people. Or we could join them, people. I'm stealing their idea, it's too good!
It's a contribution not stealing anyway.

This is a beautiful thing to do for the environment. 👍 to the McGee's for caring for their community and inspiring others to do the same.
This is quite possibly the most awesome thing I've seen this week
Make San Fran beautiful again!
The bees look so cute and fuzzy 😍 🐝 🌼
There's a patch of dirt a block from where I live that has been empty of life for years. Thanks for this magnificent action I intend to follow as soon as I buy seeds from my neighborhood hardware store.
That will be such fun for your whole neighborhood to enjoy.
Go for it. Go Native-for-the-area.

I never get tired of this story!
So positive, uplifting & beautiful!
Simply, Gorgeous!
Wow! I lived in SF. Great job is an understatement. Absolutely the sweetest story ever !

I keep hearing that our world is going to change , starting from our hearts.
Fab, fab - Fabulous! All power to them. I hope people do it everywhere! 👍💖🌼

This couple wins the Adorable prize.
OMGeeee I wanna like this a million times!
Right action. Love you ladies!
This made my day. I'm about to start doing the same after fall season. This give me so much joy just watching can't imagine how great it'll feel to see the flowers grow.
This is a fun thing to do with your children, they also would like to save the bees. You will be their hero!
That is fantastic keep up the great work IRELAND. I will look into it here too. Thank you.
I love you guys making a difference is beautiful 😁✌️
So, we just grab a bag of wildflowers seed from the store? Is that the deal??? Sounds easy enough AND SUPER BENEFICIAL!!
What wonderful people.
Campaign for Wildflower over lawns,please.
Bravo...and I'm stealing your salt shaker idea !
A story we need. Thanks for posting. v
This is wonderful! I’m so grateful there’s people like this in the world
They truly are angels 😇 among us ❤️✊🏾ONE LOVE
Love this!!!! Let us all do it!
🎶 Wild thing
You make my heart sing

Love your "Flower Bombs"! San Francisco (I was born and raised there) is more beautiful because of your efforts! Thank you! 🌼😊🌻
Beauty is in the eye of the bee-holder. 🤷♀️
Such a great idea .thank you😊
Love this ❤️
So beautiful colours.
You guys are awesome !!👏🏽
I love this and refreshing to see things like this.
Looks beautiful!!! Thank you
There are people here in Europe that have been doing that. There's a lady that goes all around her city, and throws seeds flowers.
I ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️this initiative
I think it's good for a couple to have a common purpose. Must keep their relationship strong and positive.
I don't think couples need a "purpose" to stay together.
This couple is amazing! They have beautified the world around them & (fingers crossed)👍 increased the bee, butterfly & hummingbird population!
Do MORE, EVERY WHERE YOU CAN...
Love this! Sprinkling beauty
I love this!!💖
Where do you get the seeds for an affortable price in large amounts?
I thank you on behalf of all the bees
🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful Conscious Human Beings!
Awesome 🌸
WOW, FANTASTIC IDEA AND INSPIRING - THANKS FOR BEING SUCH AN INSPIRATION TO THE WORLD IN SUCH A TIME AS THIS ♡♡
I got to start doing the same thing. These guys are my heroes.
Where can you get inexpensive seeds to do this with?
Love it !!!
Their furry bee costumes are so fun! I love to see goofy joyful people laughing and clowning!!
AWESOME, THANKS 😊 🙏
Such great people ❤
It would be cool to see seeds being sown via drone following a specific path. Then do a follow up video flying the same path to show the difference.
Now who on earth wouldn't be happy at this?!!
thank you 🌺
I think that what you are doing is just brilliant! We all can learn from this exciting experience
Good work!
Amazing. So inspirational
Thank-you
I hope there is like her in my country Philippines 😭
This is amazing!
Great and inspiring job!
As a beekeeper. Thank you!!!
This is great

Wow this is amazing !!
Thoughtful and responsible
💖 Ive been doing this for years but not in a costume. Maybe I need to change that. 😉 I love it!

Hats off

Is that a Golden Girls reference? Hugs!
This is very nice. Do they have to buy the seeds themselves? In my country, we are not allowed to plant except at small designated community plot A government agency handles the greenery
It is possible there are laws like that in every city, but i bet every city also has blank patches that nobody would monitor or worry about.
@@Mister_Listener yes some residents did 'illegally' plant stuff around them.
@@SuccessforLifester i have a solution to keep everyone smiling and happy. They should go around planting Cannabis. It makes a beautiful umbrella-like bushy potted plant that’s great for smoking, too. Lol. Could you imagine? Hugs!
@@Mister_Listener Two of our citizens were found to plant that and was arrested :)
Love this! People, just be mindful of what type of seeds you're throwing around in the community😬
So COOL their actualy doing something for the enviroment
Awesome
I wonder if half the seeds get eaten by birds 🤔
The orange escholzia poppies have seeds like dust, too small for birds.
Even if some seeds get eaten, that's nature. You can see from the video that many of the seeds make it into the plant stage
Just HAD to find SOMETHING negative, huh?
What happened to the short version of this video? I was going to share it with someone and now it's just gone. Was it deleted?
Do you go back and water them too?
👏👏👏👏
Love this
Hey can we also do it in our countries?
Yes. Responsibly. Ask your local Horticulturist or someone with Native plant knowledge. Just in case, ask about the laws about it, as well.
Love you sooooo much!
Great idea !
❤👍❤
Honeybees are also very inefficient pollinators compared to native bees ✌️
