Thanks for the nice video. The mixture of sweat, oil, dirt and dead skin cells creates an acidic sludge that is harmful to the skin and also to the straps. This is why leather straps last much longer in cold and temperate climates. Fungi and bacteria like humidity and heat!
@@daho808 You're welcome Tomas, even oyster bracelets will suffer from wear and tear caused by the accumulation of this acidic sludge resulting from the stinky mixture of sweat, skin oil, and dead skin cells, so there is no escape from deterioration. This is the reason for the stretching of vintage jubilée bracelets on datejusts. Leather is a more fragile material, but it holds up well if its use is limited to drier days with lower temperatures. Hot and humid places call for steel or rubber. The watch must fit into our life/environment and not the other way around, right? Cheers, mate.
Great video! Nice tips for sharing! Was wondering if you could do a video on how to remove mold on leather straps? Also, where to buy Bergeron 6825 in SG?
Hi X, removing mould on leather strap is what we call leather restoration. The process include saddle soap cleaning to effectively remove the germs and mould and adequately oil treatment. It also depend on what leather it is. Different leather requires different treatment too. The more cost efficient method I will suggest is to replace the strap rather than cleaning it. U might want to check out khatena sg. They might have it;)
halo koh, mau tanya. Kan di video lg pake rubber orange, nah rubber cerah itu gampang bgt korot dan membandel, tips and trick membersihkannya pake apa ya ?

@Junior thanks for the tip bro! Never thought of leather strap but it totally made sense. I have sensitive skin.

@@sgwatchtalk9906 Awesome thanks!
Step 1: use the biggest brush you can find 😂
HAHAHAHAHA
And the smallest glass too. Perfect combination! That’s how all luxury brands do it for sure 😂😂
Hahah that’s a good one
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks man :)
Good video. Music too loud though.
Thanks for the feedback!

I just took a good look at my rubber strap Panerai and it looks disgusting. I'll make an effort to clean it from now on
Kudos! On behalf of ur wrist, I thank you for being so thoughtful!
Thank you.
What kind of soap
Anti-bacterial soap is best.
Maybe an old toothbrush is better for this job.
Music is too loud, you're not producing correctly.
Looks like you are teaching how to clean your hands son
