What more can I say? Another in the long line of very, very well played performances. Everything sounds so crystal clear. Both of the songs I listened to this morning were new to me. Thanks for introducing me to new stuck.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️

This is going to be a period where, I’m leaning towards lots of unknown music 🎵, even to myself.
It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea 🫖, I like the discovery of music that has a great beat and feel. Trying to please others isn’t working, if I play the oldies they do well, but how many times can I play the same old songs.
Looking a some numbers here I’m finding I’m not doing that poorly, I just like to get around 85 views or 100 , that gives me satisfaction 😊 sure I’ll have to throw in the hit songs before I lose everyone 😮

@ How many times can you play the same old songs, you ask? My answer to you, my friend is as many times as you want to play them. your channel, your rules.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

@@gregwonhoff7161 , actually I don’t believe there are any rules about how many times you can play the same songs.
My friend Rob at the Bender Beat has been playing the same songs for years with no problem.
I’m going to redo many of my songs again because my sound has improved, Earl calls them revisited. I don’t think I would even mention that I’ve done them before, after all it’s new people watching all the time. I don’t have close to 10,000 subscribers. By some miracle I have 1000

@ Hey, don’t sell yourself short. I truly believe that for the majority of listeners, it is the song covered that determines the number of views and followers a drummer wrangles up.❤️

Thanks Bryan 😊 I’m so glad I took this step to get this Tascam Recorder , it will open many new doors for me to play some songs with quiet passages or quiet intros , not worrying about noise and bad buzzing 🐝
This sounds great to me listening with good headphones 😎

@@3L3V3NDRUMS Thanks I’ve upgraded my sound setup, I don’t remember if I’ve told you about all the noise and pulsing sounds I get on my videos. It’s because I run a 12 foot cable from my mixer to the camera 📷 the shielding on the cable was the problem, plus the camera isn’t really made for this setup and the cameras pre amps aren’t good enough.
I wish I knew about this a while ago, but I just bought myself a Birthday Present for next month, that I’m using now.
It’s a Tascam hand held recorder , I’m bypassing the Microphones🎤 and running it into the tascam input, it works so much better.
No noice plus much better specs for the record rate to a 24 bit wave file 44k, it can even go in a higher setting but this works great.
It records onto a mini SD card as a separate music track that I use with my separate video tracks. I just plug in a USB cable into the computer 🖥️ and it works great. It’s the lowest priced recorder that Tascam sell, DR-O5X
I have a few songs recorded already before I picked this up, but it is now my way to record, and now I can play songs with quite intros or passages 🙏

@@The-Tired-Drummer That's cool man! Getting some working solutions is always the best. I'm using a focusrite scarlett 18i20 with an OctoPre Preamp. Both are synced with an optical ADAT cable and the 18i20 is connected with an USB-C cable to the MAC. Recording and playing the backing track is everything done in LogicPro. Works just perfect.

@ , I have to go a simple route, because of budget and my weakness in tech savvy skills.
This has solved my biggest problem, I only wish that I could understand a DAW computer system so I could make volume changes after the initial recording. So if the music is too loud, I’m stuck with it. Unless I record the song again, and I don’t bother 99% of the time.

Kingfish is the future of the blues... awesome! And you sound great too! Nice job here ... audio is very crisp and clean... I actually heard a mosquito fly across the room in front of you... just kidding, but there is a ton of detail in this recording... that high hat sizzle is really coming through...

    • @The-Tired-Drummer

It’s a great song but it’s really taking some time to get some traction, it is a better than usual recording.
If you remember I’ve been constantly plagued with unwanted noise in my system, due to, the patch cord being over 10 feet long to reach my far camera 📷, these thin cables are not recommended past a few feet in length.
So noise and hum, plus the lights in the room give a pulsing noise, another problem is the camera isn’t really made for good quality audio, it’s meant for a external microphone 🎤 not being plugged into a mixer board. So the camera pre amps are not great to start with.
I saw a video on the weekend of a guy using a Sony small handheld device for dictation with two stereo microphones build in.
He was using it to record old cassette tapes from a portable tape player, running a line in to this Sony recorder.
So apparently they have an input in … and you don’t need to use these microphones.
I did a bunch of research on utube, and found different models from Zoom, Sony and Tascam.
I am very aware of Tascam products, so I ordered one from Amazon $159.00 Canadian, probably much lower in America. 🇺🇸
Tascam DR-O5X and it’s totally solved all my problems 🙏 it works perfectly for my needs .
It records to a SD mini card, and records at a much higher quality 24 bit Wav file at 44k , it can even go to a higher quality setting that I don’t need. It fits in my hand like a cell phone, it’s easy to operate and I’m very happy with it. It dead quiet.
So I plug the device into my computer 🖥️ with a usb mini cable and don’t need to pull out the card .
Then I run a separate audio file wav and mix it into a program that lets me do the EQ settings adjusting the bass mids and treble, then save that file, and load it along with my two camera 📷 SD card files into my iMovie editing program. Then sync everything together.
      I hope I didn’t tell you this already, I told someone, I don’t remember who 🤷🏼‍♂️
