They were a bit tricky but I did them on my M340i. You have to mount them with double sided tape and cut to fit the lights. Then run the wires down the A pillar. It helps if you loosen the headliner up.
go for a good ride and the battery should be ready. I didn’t use any back up battery source. however apparently if you think your car need it or anxious, you should have a back up power
Did you use a battery charger during the ista+ coding process to get the lights working? It says online to use one for every programming and coding job to prevent low voltage message and the program canceling out. I'm getting ready to do this to mine
Unless your car has bad battery condition, I don’t think you will need one. It took about 15minutes. And I did not use battery charger, FYI. If you are worried, bring your car and drive a bit around with coasting and braking, then start coding after the short trip.

Isn't there an OEM ambient light cupholder? The pre-LCI version had ones with ambient lights in them.
Not that I know of
Looks good, but kind of expensive also. I was thinking you added LED lights which would’ve been cheap.
Yea it was a bit pricey
Dose this void the warranty of the car?

How did you get the centerconsole light in ambient collor. The led above where you put your phone and cupholder?

you can get an aftermarket kit for that aswell if you want it
The pre-LCI (facelift) version of the car had the center console lights.
I need this for my bmw x4 2021
I don’t think there is one sold in the market for x4 :(. I only see ambient light part for the center console.
Do you know how to remove just the cup holder cover. Mine has two cracks in the veneer and need to be replaced?
