How is the stick on carbon trim holding up? I just bought a G20 and idk what the previous owner did to the center console but there’s a lot of little marks on the trim. Id also like carbon over aluminum trim anyways but ive heard that a lot of trim covers kinda suck
It’s not a sticker, it’s a full piece of plastic trim that has been hydro dipped to look like carbon fiber and then clear coated. So peeling should never been an issue
Should I disconnect just the battery in the trunk before removing the airbag or is there another one that should be disconnected as well? Also, do you let the car sit after disconnecting it for a bit or can you go right into removing the airbag? TYIA
Just wanted to see the difference. It’s 1/2 the price and looks 9/10 as good. I will be upgrading to the tactic motorsports real carbon fiber interior soon

As long as the car isn’t on, the air bag won’t go off.

Any tips on how to get those clips Off in the back of the center console peice without breaking the clips. Mine seem to be very stubborn

@emre_murat I have a carbon fibre mid section. So I can remove the airbag. Remove other bit and just swap? Thanks
@@derekporter66remove airbag, two screws inside SW, two behind SW of shifters and unclip the trim. u r done. No big deal, u can’t go wrong.

It’s actually held up great. I still get tons of compliments on it. For the price it’s definitely worth it vs stock trim
