According to what I’ve been told by bmw, they do warranty part by part so a downpipe will only void warranty on exhaust and say turbo but if your cooling went out it should still be covered, if you only had air intake your turbo warranty should stay, where as tune completely voids the car
Great video and channel. Car looks good but would look sooooo much better with 792m wheels... Wow!!! The stock exhaust is massive!!! PS really can't believe you are not using jack stands...
Don’t got insta. I have a question on your previous 535xi. We’re there any issues running 19s on the xDrive/xi? I want to get me some Apex VS-5RS wheels but they only offer 18s for the car
@@I_Learned_a_Thing Thanks for the comment. I appreciate the help I have these options for the rear on the Apex site for rwd 19 x9" ET30 19x9.5" ET22 19x9.5" ET28 19x9.5" ET35 19x10" ET25 And these are the options for the front 19x9" ET30 What do you think would work? Or can I just run 4 fronts of the same diameter to make it work with the xDrive? I saw someone post that on the forums for xDrive specific cars
99% of the exhausts on the market are not carb legal. It takes millions to get the proper licensing to produce carb legal parts. You can still purchase the exhaust but like most others you run the risk of being state ref’d
Gotta get some jack stands bro, better to be safe than sorry
Honestly one of the cleanest m340s on YT. So simple yet so clean
Dayummm sounds insane!
amazing build man, thats exactly how i want mine to look and sound like, thanks for the links, my 2025 g20 is arriving in december, thanks
When I saw him use just the jacks with no jack stands I did one of these, 😲😬.
Sounds great tho. Good video!
I’ll be getting me a G20 soon hopefully.
i spent the entirety of the video trying to figure out the suicide jack situation going on. its wild out there.
whatd you do to get the tips to sit correctly? im having the same issues lol
Trimmed a bit off muffler so the tip elbow could slip on more
How come you added JB4 to keep the warranty, but you changed your downpipe to Autowerke which should void it on its own. And then this exhaust?

bro the size diff is crazy😭
Geez no jackstand!? 😅😅
balanced on 4 jacks... not smart. Glad it worked, but I wouldn't tempt fate again. Sounds good.

Man don’t spend money on exhaust when it comes to m340i just muffler delete believe me ! (“Stock car”)!
I personally love having the option to be quiet or loud depending on where I am, muffler delete is just loud all the time

I run 19s on my 2010 e60 535i x-drive, no issues. 19x8.5 +35 and 19x9.5 +35 245/40/19 & 275/35/19. Perfect fitment with coil-overs.

What's the exhaust called?
Fire
Would these cause a CEL without a tune?
No it would not. As long as keep the factory valve controller plugged in, there will be no codes
@@EHOONS Did you hide the factory valve above the exhuast heat shield?
Yes and held it up with a ziptie
@@EHOONS Do the valves need to be in the open position when zip tied?
I’ve been looking at valve tronic for my 2023 m340i LCI but super expensive Is this exhaust really worth saving the extra money for how’s the quality
It says the exhaust isn’t carb legal so I can’t purchase it for my car? I’m in CA so we have pretty strict exhaust laws

wheres the TEs?
🤫
Sell me the exhaust you took off lol
Sounds horrible.
