Always wanted and strived for a pro-like look in my backswing, praise the lord I came across your channel a year ago and with the unbelievably simplistic and effective approach you take with instruction and a little bit of hard work on my end I cannot believe how quickly and easily I have transformed my swing despite the countless years of trying! Thank you sir, you're a legend

Dude, you are awesome. I have been playing golf for 50 years the best handicap I ever made was 16. Been having old age problems and I am now a 22 handicap. Been idle all winter here in the Midwest and watching your videos and hitting into a net. The swing and feel is so much better. I have an ha ha moment almost every time I watch your videos. Can't wait to work on it on the course. I'll let you know when my handicap hits single digits thanks.

I found this Chanel around 6 weeks ago and it totally transformed my game. Just something so simple as the takeaway to set and then rotation of the body to the top has improved my game 10fold. Thanks from the UK

I've seen a lot of your videos and your general concept of club in front of chest, hinge below belt and turn have been a game changer to avoid "losing" the club in the backswing. This video is probably one of the best at summarising the feels I work on. Thanks

You're doing it again Adam. Even at my lowest handicap, I always struggled with is move. You make it incredibly easy to see and understand. My swing involved not enough rotation, too steep. With this there is no way to look for extra lag or shallowing. Thanks very much again. Gordon ( Scotland )

Been following your channel for the last two months, my game has totally been transformed.
Always struggled with how to properly take the club away on the backswing consistently. Doing what you show has fixed so much for me, if I hit the check points on the way back with the correct stance the downswing just happens so naturally.
This video is gold, short and straight to the point.
Won my last 2 home medals since watching your channel. Thanks Porzak, 👍

@@PorzakGolf I have video idea which maybe obvious to you.
Could you speak about how the lead arm comes around or behind you slightly.
Straight back would be an outside takeaway I believe. Please correct me if I’m wrong. But I struggled with this for
So long. I just couldn’t wrap my head around it till recently.

I agree so much. I've been playing absolute garbage golf for 5 years. I watch 3 of his videos and now I'm making descending blows, ball first without even thinking about it. I'm going to go and dig through his videos and figure out how to get the damn thing to stay straight now that I'm puring them consistently. The damn thing is always 12 feet to the right. Then I try to correct and it's 12 feet to the left. From 185 yards I can line it up directly with the pin so distance is perfect, but I can't get it to go straight. I've tried adjusting my stance.

This is my second comment on this channel. A GREAT explanation on wrist hinge. I commented on the 45-degree angle about 4 months ago. The one where you laid down three clubs with one at a 45-degree angle. That drill was the nail in the casket for my inside take-away. This drill just finalized that drill. Your teaching is "non-manipulative" What do I mean by that? There are so many videos out there where one has to flatten the shaft consciously, or squat then open hips and then fire through to get the club on plane. You stress "one" rule, if one can get the club on plane correctly, then all that needs to be done is fire through. Great communication and easily clear points.

I have been struggling with my irons and could not figure out why I kept getting stuck in the backswing. This video cured it and the funny thing is I had watched it before but did not "get it". I went out last night after watching it again and realized the club head was getting behind me due to too much of an inside take away. Thanks for a great video!

Porzak - you are really really flexible. As Physio I have actually never seen any playing good golf, with foot turning invards and still turn so massively. Normally people should flare out foots for better turn, but hopefully people don´t copy your foot setup, as this gonna hurt

  • @a6039043

I'm so committed to this. Started absolutely striping it dead straight with the hand path, but after a while started slicing it (straight fade to even slice and pull fade). I've always been a take behind with a push draw pattern but misses were shallow fat, hook/push miss. Back swing looks good but I can't say I'm overly fond of the new shot shape. Sounds like my path is now more out to in now. Do you have any videos with students having this issue so I can watch your instruction? I'll rewatch your ball position stuff just to make sure that's not exacerbating the problem.
