Good to know I’m not the only one pissed that a game that was $20 on the Wii U at the time was priced as a full retail game when *LITERALLY ALL THEY ADDED WAS AN EASY MODE*
Yep, that was definitely disappointing. Especially since they established a strong precedent with the 3DS version of DKC Returns by adding an entire new world of levels. I heard those were done by the company that ported the original to 3DS, but they were great levels! I still hope they do an HD remaster of DKC Returns that includes all those levels with improved controls and visuals, because currently we're stuck with the graphics of 3DS or Wii, and the Wii motion controls if we want to play on a TV. Honestly I'd pay full price if they put in the effort to make that happen, to have a definitive version to stand alongside Tropical Freeze on Switch.

Christpratt 420 It's probably cause they have you play through with each character as well and then added another mode as well that makes you play as every character. It seems kinda redundant. Like the Heroes in another dimensions mode should have been how we utilized the other characters and more should have been added to the story. I feel guest star mode is too repetitive.
Tl;Dr They either needed to get rid of guest star mode and add more to the story mode or have more variety in guest star mode.

If I’m gonna be honest.... LOZ:LA was not worth the big price point. I could live in a world with no Links Awakening. My main problem was lack of content. It took me 17 hours to 100% and after that nothing really brought me back. Now you could make the same statement to UGG but it’s a whole bunch cheaper. If a cheap game had the same amount of problems and content as a big expensive game I would rather take the cheap game.

He expected way too much from it. I grew up on Pokémon Red and then Gold, and comparing these games to Yellow... only makes sense cuz it’s the same map and shit. The experience of playing the game? NOT EVEN CLOSE.
And even as an OG pokechild, I got bored after 3 hours. I have 40 pikachu plushies and still... shit was boring.

Shaiden 100 percent agree with that, man. It felt like I was playing Heavy Rain, if that game had no story. It’s more a Pokémon spin off/experiment... but a lot of idiots hyped it up so much. Then I got it and felt ripped off, rather pay that money for Octopath or some game that creative.
Daemon X Machina was honestly the reason for me getting a switch beside the Mario and Zelda games. It's just Armored Core, for the switch. I've been waiting for a new Armored Core, and it's going to be the answer to my blessings. Fucking. Love. Armored Core.

Exactly. I've been playing through the PS2 games for the first time this year and holy hell, amazing series. I just wish Daemon X Machina had better marketing though, the trailers and marketing hasn't helped it out. Looks like a fun AC4ish style "speedy mecha" type thing. It kinda looks more... action gamey? Gonna have to play it at some point.

Tbh Kirby is good now and there is pretty good amount of stuff to do now with a really good mode and an even harder mode for the boss rush, Kirby is always like this now, easy single player, but hard when you complete it like with extra modes, mostly the boss rush can be very hard, and of course the lore is very interesting as well, watch Antdude's two videos about Star Ally's back to back

imagine if nintendo made weekly uploads of all of the indie titles they were planning on adding for the following week. released on Saturdays via youtube or on a special tab in the eshop, showcasing trailer/gameplay footage of the games coming.
Extremely glad that I'm not the only person with these same thoughts about the eShop being absolutely flooded with poopoo garbo. I barely log onto the thing unless I have a solid idea of what I'm going to buy, and even then I can't shake the feeling that there are some real gems going unnoticed due to all this garbage being added that literally no one wants.

This year was obviously severely limited due to the crazy push they had last year, with huge titles like Zelda and Mario, that usually end up years apart. I think you are correct in that they will have a somewhat bigger push this year and hopefully more 3rd party support. Also please expand the nes online service and rehaul the eshop
