The issue with that is Ninjas irl weren't as badass as we make them out to be. The Spartans would absolutely beat ninjas and no the idea of a ninja running around a spartan camp killing them "stealthily" is incredibly unrealistic. At the end of the day there's always a bigger fish, and Ninjas just aren't anywhere near biggest fish. They're badass, but mainly because they were impoverished farmers who used guerilla tactics to resist oppressive dynamos who sent heavily armored soldiers to raid their villages. But as cool as that is it'd be ridiculous to think they could beat Spartans in any sort of combat, even utilizing guerilla tactics.
I don’t think it’s a question. The college immediately has a numbers advantage. The brotherhood doesn’t have the ai to sneak, and realistically speaking there’s nowhere to hide. If the brotherhood locks onto antronoks (forgive if it’s spelled wrong) then they’re seriously screwed. Mages are probably the most overpowered when it comes to NPC wars.
College FTW duh. They have everything. They can go invisible, can create mayhem make the Assassins kill each other, can calms the Dark Brotherhood should they got angry, can detect life should the enemy go invisible, can paralyze, can revive the fallen assassin to fight against their living friends. They didn't use all those options in this fight but ... Don't mess with the proffessors. Whenever I play this game, I always go for mages. Versatility. It is different if the Brotherhood is on a mission to kill them. They will go one by one, and will suceed.

I use Destruction only for fun, because other schools are too strong! *Illusion* will make even the angriest bandits, giants, vampire, bears, automatons, falmers, etc my best friend, and I can even make them kill each other. *Conjuration* can raise two Master Vampires or Arch Necromancers as my slaves, which is overkill since both of them can raise armies as well. *Alteration* made me basically a magic tank, if we combine the Atronach Perk and Atronach Stone, plus I can do Mass Paralysis, which is crazy strong. Fighting undeads using *Restoration* is overkill. I usually pursue Draugr Deathlord, Draugr Wight, Draugr Scourge, Master Vampire, etc, because my spell Circel of Protection. What was missing from this fight was the stealth element. 1v1s where the assassins got the first hit in, or better yet: ruclips.net/video/hTyNGVTZf8I/видео.html
What a cool concept for a Skyrim video! I appreciate your passion and camera skills alot, too. I want more! I think the College of Winterhold can win against the Companions but it would be a tougher fight. I'm still going to check out your other vids but it would be cool to have different battle areas/locations that benefit the factions' expertise, as well as a more neutral location. The assassins had no chance in this icy plain. They were lacking different levels of height and shadow :)
Don’t forget the boss J’Zargo wasn’t there too. As we All know J’Zargo scales to the Db. And he has All kind of spells. He’s a badass. And also vampires are killable in skyrim, erasing any Trace of their existence was my favorite thing to so in the game 😬☺️ as i deeply despise even the very idea of a vampire
The mages has the vantage. When they summon the atronach, the assassins go attack them while the mages kepp distance and attack with magic. Besides, even when the assassins attack directly, the mages can heal themselves.
I ache because I love this video so much. Please do more. Thank you for such a clear video and choosing a landscape not obscured by trees. Two wish lists: a few more close-up shots and a roster of who is still alive at the end. But they are super minor. I still think this is such a great battle video of our beloved skyrim peeps.
That epic moment when Faralda was tanking Arnbjorn and the iniciate, while the artillery were bombarding them from behind trying to help was amazing. Arnbjorn had Faralda !! one more strike and she's dead, but the electricity and fire were too much powerful to continue the fight.
Because assassins are stealthy, if they were able to play like a player the mages would've actually had a harder time, but what do I know I'm just using my brain yet the mages are too stubborn to use their brain
This was a lot of fun 😂 Knowing what we know about Skyrim NPC AI, the outcome is absolutely no surprise but it's still fun to watch the large-scale faction battle.
College of Winterhold is badasss... All these skyrim videos popping up suddenly is making me miss this game. Can't believe it is already years since it first came out !
A lot of dark brotherhood strength would be in their ability to sneak and get the first hit or two. This video doesn't account for the environment that is being used and how it may effect the battle as a whole. That being said I do love the video and support you to make this one and many more. Thank you:)
I would love to see more videos of every faction versus each one and then do an ultimate count down to the best factikn strength wise. But this a great idea for a series in my opinion! 🤙
Please do more of these! They will make you blow up! Do college vs companions, thieves guild vs DB, imperials vs stormcloaks with general tullius and Ulfric, you can also do how many blades to beat a dragon and dremora vs dragons and there are just so many possibilites!!!

@@danielgibson3422 Stealth isn't a tool stealth is a tactic. A tool is a physical item while stealth is a skill based tactic. It's like if you were to compare armed forces. Let's just say US soldiers vs Russian. But then you unfairly gave the Russians an ambush position and put the US forces completely out of position. That would be an awful way to compare them. If we are going to give the assassins stealth then we have to give the mages something in return. All the mages would have to do is cast detect life and now the assassins have to fight a straight up fight, which brings us full circle where we can clearly see they are incapable of winning. I grant you if the assassins had better gear they probably would have won, but the mages could also be given stronger spells. Blame Bethesda for that one, not the video creator. He set up the most fair fight possible and the assassins got rocked. Personally? I expected them to massacre the mages because Magic is really weak in Skyrim compared to melee but I wasn't expecting the assassins to be that weak lmao.

If you have to kill someone in their sleep in order to win, are you even strong in the first place? Genuine question.
@@MechaGriffin Exactly.
*Atronachs
@@silvercandra4275 thank you! I was struggling with that one.

@@joravrba8890 You're right... ^^;
Well, at least my correction was slightly right...er
Well magic sucks at higher level, so I think the mor eyou increase the NPCs level, the more the DB will have chances to win.
College FTW duh.They have everything.
They can go invisible,
can create mayhem make the Assassins kill each other,
can calms the Dark Brotherhood should they got angry,
can detect life should the enemy go invisible,
can paralyze,
can revive the fallen assassin to fight against their living friends.
They didn't use all those options in this fight but ... Don't mess with the proffessors. Whenever I play this game, I always go for mages. Versatility.
It is different if the Brotherhood is on a mission to kill them. They will go one by one, and will suceed.
True but the mages are just boring. It is no fun just casting a invisibility spell and casting a fireball at someone
I always go for a mage build, and it's much more fun, not to mention all the spells that will take from being near dead, to full health
@@AncientSavant7572
Agree.
And there are *Echanting and Alchemy,* that can make my character have millions of HP and Magicka, or even damage!
Too versatile!
What was missing from this fight was the stealth element. 1v1s where the assassins got the first hit in, or better yet: ruclips.net/video/hTyNGVTZf8I/видео.html
@@rekaadang Illusion is easily the most useless school of magic past level 30
Faralda MVP
It's no wonder why she's the College Gatekeeper
Faralda MVP for the College, but Cicero straight up took everything and always lasted til the end
Why does this remind me of twilight with its small ass "war" in a snowy field.
3:54 Brotherhood: "You are dead"
Winterhold: "Call an ambulance! But for not me"
*Winterhold*
Eyy this was really great. That's wassup. My Boy Cicero was the last man standing. I knew DB would get slaughtered bu that was a treat. 👍
I can’t get over how much of a good idea this was.
Who would win: the most powerful an well respected masters of magic in all of skyrim
Or
A bunch of edgebois
What a cool concept for a Skyrim video! I appreciate your passion and camera skills alot, too. I want more!
I think the College of Winterhold can win against the Companions but it would be a tougher fight.
I'm still going to check out your other vids but it would be cool to have different battle areas/locations that benefit the factions' expertise, as well as a more neutral location.
The assassins had no chance in this icy plain. They were lacking different levels of height and shadow :)
College just lucky the unkillable child with vampiric powers didn't show up
Don’t forget the boss J’Zargo wasn’t there too. As we All know J’Zargo scales to the Db. And he has All kind of spells. He’s a badass. And also vampires are killable in skyrim, erasing any Trace of their existence was my favorite thing to so in the game 😬☺️ as i deeply despise even the very idea of a vampire
That child would had evaporated at the mere presence of Restoration master Colette. Remember, restoration is a perfectly valid school of magic!
@@CativaCookie Nuh uh. In Skyrim children are are immortal.
The mages has the vantage.
When they summon the atronach, the assassins go attack them while the mages kepp distance and attack with magic. Besides, even when the assassins attack directly, the mages can heal themselves.
"Out fricking skilled" "Get dunked on"
Love the mages hope they slap the companions.
Babette: "Just a normal human girl here, don't investigate."
That didn't go at all how I expected it would 😁. Great video, more please.
Can we talk about that ACCURACY?! those mages and atronachs are 360 no scoping across the map!
Wow bro it just keeps going up, smashed it 👏
I wonder what level this guy was. I typically see a storm attonoch summoned by the wizards.
A more epic video never have I seen. I'm glad there was an ad at the end so that my view has given something to the creator
Much Appreciated!
I mean theyre supposed to be assassins, not warriors fighting in an open battlefield. So it kinda makes sense for them to lose
J'zargo is pleased with this outcome
That epic moment when Faralda was tanking Arnbjorn and the iniciate, while the artillery were bombarding them from behind trying to help was amazing. Arnbjorn had Faralda !! one more strike and she's dead, but the electricity and fire were too much powerful to continue the fight.
Always good to see the mages triumphing over those filthy rogues.
Cicero in 1st round be like: Go away mages, Cicero has to kill Arniel Gane!
I did not expect to enjoy this this much. LET'S GO CoW!!!
so proud of my boy cicero for carrying the entire DB in this video
They didn’t have their most valuable asset: a 10 year old vampire.
Gee, it seems that the DB isn't as strong as it was before I WONDER WHY, ASTRID 👁👁
Because assassins are stealthy, if they were able to play like a player the mages would've actually had a harder time, but what do I know I'm just using my brain yet the mages are too stubborn to use their brain
Awesome video. Restoration, atronachs and sheer range will definetly assure victory! Just funny how Cicero was last one to die 2 times
Go Mages, go!
This was a lot of fun 😂
Knowing what we know about Skyrim NPC AI, the outcome is absolutely no surprise but it's still fun to watch the large-scale faction battle.
Love it when the mages start summoning fire atronach
College of Winterhold is badasss... All these skyrim videos popping up suddenly is making me miss this game. Can't believe it is already years since it first came out !
You're the one from the college. Heard about you.
That epic pan at 4:08 !!! Everyone regrouping simultaneously to go get Cicero, I love it!!
Bruh this here, is content.
A lot of dark brotherhood strength would be in their ability to sneak and get the first hit or two. This video doesn't account for the environment that is being used and how it may effect the battle as a whole.
That being said I do love the video and support you to make this one and many more. Thank you:)
I always loved the college!
Magic is the next step on combat and life. For sure
Favorite Faction, along with The Dawnguard!
@@Raxxinate uh iah

Kinda makes me sad for not being able to fight as a mage :'(

Them frost spells came in clutch
Distanced based destruction magic and summons vs iron swords and daggers. Not a surprise to me.

Brotherhood: "that's not fair!"
That was epic but I had my money on the assassins
Same. They are such trash in a straight fight. No wonder they are in hiding. LOL
@@renaldoawes2210 the ai for anything other than mages and warriors is garbage, the assassin type ai is highly neglected
Please do more of these! They will make you blow up! Do college vs companions, thieves guild vs DB, imperials vs stormcloaks with general tullius and Ulfric, you can also do how many blades to beat a dragon and dremora vs dragons and there are just so many possibilites!!!
I totally thought that mages don't stand a chance against swordsmen, but damn.
Never knew I needed this - I want so much more of these!
The dark brotherhood has a werewolf that I'm not seeing, bro
That requires a part 2, I think
They also have a little girl vampire
This looks really cool, how did you make this?
Just used console commands and recorded with capture software such as Nvidia Shadowplay.
@@Raxxinate Ah, I play on the switch so I had no idea you could do that.

Skyrim Theme Remix - Plasma3Music
Skyrim OST - Dragonborn

You know The College is nearly Impossible to beat. WTH did ya'll expect.
This randomly slid into my recommended lol I used to watch these fights all the time when I was younger🙂
Honestly I expected the mages to win, I have seen them evaporating dragons every second day already. Their strength is actually very solid.
Man, Fallout & Skyrim is just one of the best games for NPC wars
The animation looks cool
The combat system is good too
The factions, not bad
Weapons not bad
Armors looking good
And most of all
*It's eazy enough to make one NPC war scenario*
There are reasons dark brotherhood stealthy characters in this game they couldn kill them with one hit with sneak attack
The reason they use stealth is because they fucking suck ass in any sort of fair combat LOL as shown in this video. Unless they literally have the drop on somebody with a 400% crit chance bonus they aren't killing shit.
@@renaldoawes2210 that's like saying a mage sucks ass because they can't accomplish anything with out their magic....
Just add a coating of that super poison the brotherhood makes to all there weapons and see how well the mages fair.
@@danielgibson3422 No it's not. Magic is a tool not a situation. I never took the Dark Brotherhood's weapons from them. But this argument of "well they're stronger if they jump you by surprise and therefore they're stronger" is ridiculous.
@@renaldoawes2210 stealth in game is also a tool well used by the player in game that offers a tangible bonus.
Even if you want to ignore that then at the very least they should be given the best poisons considering that is literally just a tool.
Great fun, but quite hard to tell what's happening and the results unless you're very familiar. Some commentary or visual cue about who won each round would help enormously.
