I got lucky and saw them open for Tash Sultana in Nashville, and man, I knew they were gonna be good, but they blew me away. Made an instant fan for life that night. They had the whole Ryman on it's feet and singing along, and they were the opener! That was one amazing night Tash and the Teskey Brothers, IN ONE NIGHT! No words could even describe the energy in that room.
I was there only to see them in Nashville!! Just saw them last week again twice ! 😂 freaking love them!
Them with tash is a dream. Holy shit
🙌 ❤️ 🎶
I was lucky enough to see these guys in the flesh on the weekend, with Crowded House, incredible musicians!
Very few artists in the world have that kind of sway on a crowd and are generous enough to trust the crowd to contribute their part to make that kind of magic happen. Queen did it to perfection. I've seen Jimmy Barnes do it and John Farnham did it all the time. The Teskey Brothers are following in a fabulous Aussie tradition.
So glad you got to see this.
The Teskey Brothers are my favourite group.
Will be seeing them tomorrow performing with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. They recorded during lockdown last year and streamed it out via RUclips. It’s now released on on album. Just brilliant.
My 1st time hearing this band and I'm quite impressed! I had a feeling they were Aussies, turns out they're from Melbourne...the city I've called home for nearly 30 years!
I first saw them as a support act to Cold Chisel in Adelaide in Jan 2020. I'd never heard of them before (I'm an Aussie living in NZ these days) and OMG a couple of seconds into the first song in their set and I was in love with them and their music. I took 2 CDs back to NZ with me :-)
I’ve watched you a long time and enjoy how you’re not too long winded to kill the vibe but point out all the little nuances in the songs 🤜🤛
Typical tesky bros concert !! Pure gold 😙
I love your reactions.
You are so intentional and really "listen & hear" the elements of artist vocal gifts.
Thank you. ✊🏽💖
Love them, down to earth soul brothers from down under!
I tried to get to my little country hotel in Western Australia before they made it big.
Still my favorite band, Have all their albums. Sam and Josh Teskey are just brilliant
That was awesome, I just love his voice. The sing-along at the end had a bit of a gospel vibe ❤
The two main singers are brothers and the others are their friends or something like that. Absolutely love them.
The bass player and drummer have been part of their journey from school days. They were a solid unit - now they don't belong to this new journey😮 😢
Have been to several of their gigs and fantastic show: lots of audience participation from the band.. lol...
We are so spoilt for talent in Australia… 🇦🇺❤️
You Are So Right
I’ve seen them live once and it was almost like being at a big choir sing a long, really uplifting and amazing experience! Thanks for this reaction, it really made my day!
They are taking me back to a southern baptist black church. With the smooth soulful sounds of Memphis blues
I’m going at the end to see the Teskey Brothers in Montreal Quebec Canada at the end of June cannot wait/
🇦🇺👌❤️love this band🇦🇺👌❤️
The boys from Warrandyte Victoria I do believe. They are sensational. Brought to my attention by a relative in the Netherlands lol...Warrandyte is 20 mins from where I grew up.....who knew back then, such talent was brewing in the fresh Warrandyte air. 💖🇦🇺👍💜💫
If you look closely you’ll see he has a little mic on the top button of his shirt, hence why shirt was buttoned up to the top and obviously had it so he could sing with the audience.
Yeah Josh has got a great bluesy voice 👌
I'm an out of touch Aussie and first time hearing these fellas. Luv 'em
I saw them live in Frankston and I think they were supporting the Waifs? They were great!!!! The Waifs is certainly another Aussie band that needs to be checked out. Decades of fabulous music.
💥🗣Cheers Nic ! Thanks Brus.🔥🤘
appreciate all reactions that you do mate 👏👍 Josh Tesky leed singer & Sam Tesky on Guitar and breakdown vocals 👌
You've done Josh Tesky - Rain ( colors solo ) Forever You & Me , Never Tear Us Apart with Delta Goodrem in the past !
Well well well 😂 I just found these guys the other night and I got a bunch of there songs on my playlist . Love em and talk about voices ! And this was the first song I listened to . Those gentleman are just plain cool and dynamic singers .
Hey!!! The Teskey Bros are FANTASTIC!! No Butt's about it!!!❤️❤️❤️
I've seen these guys in my home town of Yea. They were shooting a film clip at the old bank. I stopped to ask one what was going on. He said they were the Teskey Brothers. I replied what, the Teste Brothers? He replied, no, the Teskey Brothers. On second thought, I knew who they were, been seeing their gig posters at a nearby pub for years.
You have watched/heard The Teskey Brothers TWICE before, The first was Josh Teskey, by himself, singing "Rain", which you liked. The second was the group on tour in a small venue , singing a softer song, which you didn't like. I have been pleading for you to check out more of their repertoire for a while now so am pleased to see that you finally have done so. This was their final song at this concert at The Forum in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The Teskey Brothers come from an arts community on the outskirts of Melbourne. Their music is a bluesy-soul style. The band consists of brothers Josh and Sam Teskey, Liam Gough and Brendon Love plus other musical artists at different times. They have toured the world. They have some great songs and videos on You Tube including, "'Let Me Let You Down, Carry You, Man Of The Universe, So Caught Up, Crying Shame, I Get Up, Pain and Misery," and more. Josh can be trusted even if he does wear a buttoned-up shirt, about which I thought was a strange and needless comment. More of The Teskeys, a fabulous band, please!
Yeah this makes me happy... I've seen them live and I just adore them. Just recently they announced the departure of some members and it is just going to be the brothers so it will be interesting to see what they will do.
I’d imagine the legendary Sam Cooke also had some influence on there sound 🤔 they’re excellent 👍🇦🇺
Definitely check out their song Pain and Misery! Its absolutely stunning
Looking forward to seeing them tomorrow night :-)
Oh wow lucky you lol
See you there tomorrow night....CAN'T WAIT!!!
@@Lulu60lulu my doggie is sick, just sitting out from of vet now, waiting our turn, so hope I get to go. I got good seat :-)
I'm jealous
@@monicaking2140 Don't know where we're sitting, my S-I-L got me a ticket for Xmas. Sorry about your pup...I hope all is OK.
Cannot wait to get to Bluesfest and see these guys ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love them
the gitarist is one of the brothers to lead… amazing aussies man
The reason you could hear his voice so clearly when he was in the crowd was because he has a lapel mike on his shirt.
Could you tell me why they have two microphone's each to sing in?
Yeah those Aussie boys got soul for real
Yes, yes, yes!! I'm so happy you reacted to these guys. I love them so much and I especially love this song.
Thank you so much! 😁😁😁
If I could marry a voice, it would be Josh Teskeys voice.
They are awesome, Sooooo many good songs too! ❤❤❤
Seen them live in Coffs Harbour, outdoor concert with John Butler and Missi Higgins 👍🏼🇦🇺🍻
They're from Melbourne ✌🏻
I love how Josh teskey goes over to hug his Brother after He sang ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve been to church today This is pure soul - I loved this - loved your reaction from Lisa a lyme and autoimmune warrior 🙏🙏🙏💚🦠💚🦠
Absolute freaking🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
LOVE Al Green, and am happy I finally discovered The Teskey Brothers! That guy has a great, raspy voice!
I 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚the teskey brothers 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛thank you for listening to this version 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 I’m a happy Aussie
The vocalist has his shirt buttoned all the way up to keep the small mic attached. :)
Great reaction to a phenomenal singer.
I can't tell you how many times i've watched the original video and it's like a religious experience isn't it❤❤❤❤
There are 2 brothers from Australia and the other are best friends
I JUST FOUND THEM!!! My daughter been going on and on about a Netflix series called Outer banks. I finally watched the first episode and this song played at the end of it. I LOST IT! lol
Lead guitar player looks the singer because they’re brothers as in Teskey Brothers.
You've reacted to Josh and Delta Goodrem singing " Never tear us apart " by INXS
I was lucky enough to be there that night. Awesome night
wow! where have I been?
Aussie blues at its best...🙏👍🇭🇲. Could you imagine with Tadeschi Trucks....?
Singer is Josh Teskey and guitarist is Sam Teskey.
Yeah those two are brothers
Crying shame and so caught from the teskey brothers is amazing
This was pure joy
These guys are great. I first discovered them on the soundtrack for the Aussie movie Palm Beach and Mystery Road tv series. They’ve appeared on many soundtracks. They also did a cover of Uncle Archie Roach’s song Get Back To The Land. They’re from Melbourne.
Big Man...as well as Al Green and Teddy, I get a bit of Sam Cooke in his vocals. Such a simple song chock a block full of soul...time travellers?
Ahh love that yup I agree
Add some Otis Redding in there too.
Anybody can make comments and react to a video. Not many sing along and hit the same notes. Gotta love it.
While you're at it with Aussie acts, please check out that backup vocals with long hair wearing a belt buckle. His name is Didirri, dude sounds phenomenal.
That Was HIM?
I am seeing them tonight at the Meyer Music bowl, yay
I’ve been watching your awesome reactions all day and I was about to suggest The Teskey Brothers because they are amazing and remind me of Matt Corby in some ways, someone beat me to it!!!
Keep the videos up from Aus ❤️
Nice
This is the shit !
♥️♥️👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🎯💥😭❤️😎🎶🎶🎶🎶😎
Check out Gretta Van Fleet 🤯
Wanna hear something impressive.. listen to Teskey Brothers sing (Pain and Misery) ❤❤❤
Soul Clap
They started out in the states and have been very popular over there. We have much love for them now
So gospel! This is the only kind of religion I'll get behind! 💖
Keep your eyes on the comments section, The Teskey Brothers have been known to leave replies there.
Definitely, the singer on the right with the blue shirt and long black hair is Didirri
The drummer has the red hair. Lol... 😂
Come on brother, Otis Redding!!! I've got their albums, and their Live album is killer!!!
This is Chris hemsworths favourite band
And I see why lol
Lead singer and Lead gytarist are the Bro's
So…. Ready to move to Australia yet 🤣 🇦🇺
Haha yes lol
He went to church.
You should check out a fella from New Zealand called Teeks, he has heaps of good songs but try "Never be a part" for that Luther Vandross tone and soul. I can almost guarantee you won't regret it
He reminds me of joe cocker..💪
Not a bad comparison at all
Al green ya say, well in 1994 there was a collaboration album put out titled Rhythm Country and Blues. my favourite track was a willie Nelson tune
with Al Green and Lyle Lovett and just to make it that much better Billy Preston on keys. here's the link ruclips.net/video/wY7jt9aBnSc/видео.html
if you look in to that album there are all kinds of great parings. Patti LaBelle & Travis Tritt...Gladys Knight and Vince Gill......Sam Moore and Conway Twitty
it's worth the walk down memory lane! Cheers
Nick, you've covered a lot of ground, but here's one band that you haven't reacted to. I'm not asking for a reaction, but you should know of this mob. In the early days a concert would consist of 1/2 experimental "space music" and the other 1/2 of the show was rock and alternate. They then aquired a bass playing singer and after that they went commercial. Here's one of their early hits after James Freud joined the Models. ruclips.net/video/EqizXTUFqWg/видео.html
You did “rain” before
give the pierce brothers a look youll love em them and another great aussie is sex on toast enjoy great vids legend
Do The Pierce Brothers live
Geez he sounds like Paolo Nutini.. Seriously..
Hey just letting u know your intro music is way too loud
Not sure about this kind of music
FFS, stop using your reactions as a forum for your own vocal dexterity. Listen to the performance and save your comments for afterwards. Give your ego a break, we know you can hold a tune well.
Dude just talks to dam much. Let them sing
