- What's up, folks! I'm back with another Simple Minds reaction from their 1985 album Once Upon a Time, and this time we listen to the final track on the record, "Come a Long Way," a tune that seemed to have a broad thematic scope and more rich, compelling sonics. So join me as we finish off another Simple Minds album. Cheers!

A fantastic track and now being aired live again in the current tour. It’s a classic SM sound that has everything Mick McNeils piano all the way through and the overall sound is timeless
Great song of a masterpiece of an album.
Another personal favourite, especially the synth string work that you referenced. It has a sense of scale and drama that I really appreciate.
Forgot how good this is long time since listening to this track thanks Matt
Funny as it's my favourite on the album! 😂 The synths, guitar work, lyrics and drama. Such an atmospheric tune. Shame he cut off the end playout as Mel Gaynor's drums are amazing. Brilliantly produced song and album.
An okay album track, fits well alongside the rest of the material.
Será que teremos "Hipnotized", live Simple Minds?
That track is a few albums further on … I’m sure it will be reviewed in due course.
My least favorite track on this album... which doesn't mean anything other than I find it slightly subpar compared to the rest of the songs. Still a fine wrap-up for a 10/10 LP in my ears. Great idea you had doing a side-by-side between E&D and OUAT, that was detrimental to neither, but showed how this band remained great through their sound evolution (some may disagree here). Do you intend to go on with them?
