Thank you for this, I agree with these 100%. Also, generally I've found the earlier in the chain/process you can solve a problem, the better. Ideally, prevention as when choosing the right sounds and not being emotional about scrapping a sample or a previous idea if another is found to make more sense overall and could make things go smoother.
