Brooo yes I got this bike on Monday it's now Saturday and the first day taking it home stalling.. not shifting proper. Now I did find out you must swap the shifter with a klx110 or a grom one. Have t done so yet. But the stalling is obviously the gas cap.. I took off the left side fairing and I saw a pinched hose I believe was the carb or the fuel line. That helped a bit since it's for gas. But got on here on one of these videos and someone stated it's the gas cap. CA emissions need to be passed. So I'm Def checking that out tomorrow

They are reliable. I rode mine from Las Vegas, NV to St.Augustine, FL
The only issue I had was that I laid the bike out from hitting some gravel in AZ and had to use a pair of vise-grips for my brake handle the rest of the way home 😅 5:57

Can someone tell me if the Motrac bikes are good or not?
Describe it in details if you have any experience with it or know something about it.
I get what you're saying, people say they're crap but with a few upgrades and maintenance it's good. I wouldn't spend 3500 on a Grom I'd get a real bike for that. 1200 is a different story. Plus I want to work on it that's why I ordered one to learn how to work on bikes

I picked up a Papio last week and love the thing. I'm really surprised at the quality for the price. I kept waiting for a Honda that never seemed to come in, so I ended up trying the Papio. I'm so happy that I did.
I actually get a lot of respect from the guys I work with who ride big bikes.

Our shop just picked up the CF moto motorcycle line and we just got in their Papio 125. 6 speed, EFI and honestly their bikes are really good quality. We've been selling CF's ATV's for years and they've been pretty solid, and the motorcycles seem the same. I haven't ridden a Grom, but took a papio out for it's run in ride and it's damn capable. I'm really glad to hear there's already a big network for small bikes (years ago i was involved with the classic scooter scene, Vespa and Lambretta) so I know how great a good network is. I ride my share of big bikes, but small machines are a blast, often funner than a larger bike that takes more attention. You're very right about it being more fun to ride a small bike fast rather than a big bike slow!
Yeah man I’m glad they have these cause it’s such a great bang for your buck it makes it worth it. Then it lets you realize how much fun they are
I had a 1977 Honda Express 49cc I was able to get it go 50mph. I did it by using trick fuel 110 octane. Learned how to rebuild engines fast!

I have a 2022 150cc Rps Condor Grom clone and ride with a group of Groms. Haven't done any mods yet other than the tail light. It's slightly bigger and top speed is a lot faster. For the price of a Grom I can buy 2 of mine. Their absolutely fun and you can do all the mods that you can with the Grom.

First time ever on a grom I rode the tail of the dragon and had such great fun I parked my Harley and rode this little thing. That was a friemds bike but I ordered a boom vader 2 days later along with battery and carb.

Fun bikes but dont forget to tell people that the front forks are nothing more than spring loaded and not hydraulic dampened like a Honda.

Just got one of these! Changed the carb, still waiting to get a plate to block the tube that is acting as a second exhaust and obviously makes the bike slow af at the moment. What does what you tool out to avoid the vapor lock look like? After changing the carb and getting rid of the airbox I realized I don’t get a read on how much fuel the tank has anymore. Thanks and keep up the good work!!
These are great bikes you’ll love it. As for the vapor lock, underneath your left fairing you’ll see a big black cylinder connected to a bunch of little black tubes. Disconnect the tubes and the cylinder and that should fix the vapor lock.

I got my ice bear bout a month ago, instantly ordered 17t sprocket, vm22 carb and pod filter, ported the intake a bit, n gonna do my exhaust today, hitting 70 in 3rd gear, 4th isn’t even necessary

If you don’t care about acceleration but you want a higher top speed you can add a smaller front sprocket

@@GeekyMitch they are pretty the the same it just comes down to which style you like better. I talk about all of the mods you should do to make the bike reliable. You will have to work on it for sure but working on this bike taught me so much I now can work on all my other bikes. It gave me the confidence to do bigger jobs

I just got the 2021 Venom X20 and I love it. $2200 including nibbi carb and exhaust. It runs great. I did not feel like spending $4600 out the door for a Honda Grom. And yes you can do everything on these just like the Grom. I have 3 years of warranty through venom but in 2 years I plan on putting the Zongshen 190cc engine. And with that the bike will be much faster and still cost less than the Grom. To me name brand is not that serious.

You from Jersey, I'm up north jersey, when my wife and I started riding,we started on 2 little DF250RTC'S Chinese bike's. They were great little bikes, i have many videos on what we did to them, then a couple years ago I bumped her up to a ninja 600r and I got a ninja 1000, she hated it , said it was too tall and heavy so i sold my 1000 a couple of days ago and got her an icebear fuerza she found and liked and I stayed with her ninja 600r

The question here I have the opportunity to get a 250cc street legal dirt bike for 1,700 out the door I have a 250 Ninja 5 / 250 now seems like I'm buying another 250 or should I buy the Lifan 150cc KP mini bike? Which I really like a lot but it's 2300 and the firm and tomorrow pay and all of that I can't figure it out because I don't have a bank account can anybody help me?
Well depends what you looking to do. Are you wanting to get off road a bit? What level of off road are you going to get into? And what dual sport bike for 1700? Also mini bikes are awesome but from riding a 250 ninja, 350 ktm enduro, 450 husky mx, tx250 Yama, 125z Kawi (grom clone) I’ve had the most fun on the ninja and the KTM. Each has pros and cons and sometimes it’s worth spending the extra $$ to get something thatll fit your riding better.
My Grom clone runs fine with stock carb only mod i have done is go to 16 tooth front sprocket for lower rpms .

Love these bikes. Question for you. I bought the nibbi pe22 carb and have a ton of twist throttle play. When I bought it it already had a carb upgrade swap with twist throttle play. I read that the cable should be replaced. I'm sure it's stock. What cable should I get.

For vapor lock, the part is alrdy off. What else could it be?
Could’ve been that there was too much gas in the tank.. try filling it a little less and see how it goes

I expect to have perfect running mechanicals on a new bike. I don't expect perfect cosmetics nor BMW level electrics. But yes brand new ,I do expect it to be perfectly running.

So it’s not as high quality but it is only 1/3 the price.. it’s reliable if you do the mods I have. There’s a video on it in my “boom Vader playlist” it’s extremely fuel efficient I’ve traveled almost 300 miles in one day and have 3,000 miles on mine so far.. congrats on the bike!
I have a 150 cc bintelli beast brand new a few months ago waiting to do some upgrades. Wondering how many part are interchangable and/or upgradable with Honda Grom parts. Any info would be great! Thanks!
I’d say most other than stuff related to the carb since the grom is fuel injected and the Bintelli is carbureted

Just got mines 125cc vader grom clone .. did swap out the carburetor with a nibbi carburetor .. tired to swap out my exhaust with a dual exhaust but the damn thing doesn’t fit .. Idk how to customize it .. I’m new to this stuff .. from Pennsylvania
Congrats on the bike homie. Unfortunately with exhausts for these you have to do some welding yourself most of the time. The exhausts usually don’t fut

I have a condor rps 150cc and I keep having trouble with it stalling out on me when I stop or am turning. Any advice on how to fix it? I have only had it about a month and I bought it brand new
Is the clutch engaging all the way? You might need to adjust your clutch cable

Mine tops out at about 55 mph. I rode mine on the freeway multiple times, it’s sketchy but doable. I wouldn’t do it daily tho

Im having engine mount breakage at 500 miles plus bolts snapping. Any one else have these issues ?
It’s a common issue for this bike. You should upgrade all of the engine mount bolts
@@BrapGenius working on that now. Any links or suggestions as to which bolts to get? Also my right side engine mount sleeve snapped off have to rigg it to hold the top bolt on.now im getting this grinding noise i believe it's the back of the engine casing frictioning against the frame. Going to have to do some American chopper style fabrication lol im no dang mechanic

@@zenriderzsouthflorida9904 use those sturdy bolts from Walmart that look sturdy and dusty not the shiny ones they become loose after a few months but the less shiny sturdy feeling ones stay bolted

You can but it will probably have problems if you leave it stock
I got Honda cg 125 clone with new design. Should I use the same carb as for groms? And fuel filters I heard they help with combustion. And for riding style I like cruising and this 125 can do 9k rpm in 5th gear but 1st 2nd 3rd gears are too short. I'm thinking about upgrading my front sprocket. I'm thinking of getting some money and do these upgrades in one go. I'm pretty positive It's going to do a big difference.
So I used a simple gn 22 carb kit from Amazon. Nibbis are the best but you don’t need a nubby. I never played with the fuel filter but I did throw on a 17 tooth sprocket which did help a lot

I never rode it without the mods so I can’t say stock.. after mods probably about 65 mpg
I haven’t received mine yet, so I’m just asking questions I think might be worth knowing for me. I’ve never been on a motorcycle or dirt bike before
@@Whiteshadowsyoutube it’s a good bike to learn on. You’ll also learn about how to work on bikes which this is a great way to learn since it’s a cheap bike
fb marketplace in CT are filled with them and these people dont change the shipping oil burn out the clutch out and proilly the engine wheelie it for a year and then try to sell it for 800 i feel bad for the people who buy them used few 100 more get a new one
