    From one bald guy to another, you don't talk too much! I love these videos and look forward to watching them each week.

    I love the system but have one suggestion. Please make the next version with a water proof/dust proof rubber gaskets around the lid or edge. My dewalt and Milwaukee pack out cases all have them and they the are excellent at dealing with dust during demo and concrete grinding without dust extraction.

      I’d also like to see the Systainers built a little more robustly. I’m not looking for encouragement to stand on them but in a pinch…

    CT36, systainer 112, organizer 89, and MFT SYS equals 902 to match the MFT close enough

    I really like the Sortainers because I can keep a variety of small tools accessible even at the bottom of a stack. What I’d like to see is a variety of sizes. The current version has three drawers. Why not one or two also? That way you could easily attach it to the bottom of another Systainer for something like accessories.
    For instance: a single drawer Sortainer full of router bits attached to a router Systainer.
    Yes, the Combi is kinda like this but is not as versatile.
    I know that Sortainers are modular and can be disassembled and reassembled. Why can’t these parts be made available and / or just produce the different sizes?
    I emailed Festool years ago and got a minimal response.

    Another configuration on the cart is 2 337 s and one organizer. All together get a height of 901mm

    The big problem with systainers at the moment is that there is a mix of series 1 (Vacsys), series 2, and series 3 being sold by Festool. Obvious question: is there a mix of these series that can stack to same height as the MFT?

    • @user-zz8ln3uh5x
      @user-zz8ln3uh5x 2 года назад

      How about a Systainer with an integrated scissor jack (or something like it) inside? You could adjust the height without having to worry about finding the correct combination of Systainers. Maybe wasteful for such a simple need.

    What am I missing in understanding the "code"?
    5+4+2 = 11 = height of the MFT This was at 13:09 - ok That was in the Systainer2
    5+2+2+2 = 11 = height of the MFT This was at 13:35 - ok I think I am breaking the code. But that was in the T-Locs. My T Locs are 2 bar and they are slightly less than 160 mm. That would not add up to the 900 mm high that the table is unless the 5 bar is not 2.5 times the height that the 2 bar is.
    337+137+437 = ?? This was at 18:32 (5 minutes later). This is for the Systainer3. This is the one that was supposed to "break the code" for me.....
    It did not break the code for me. My Systainer3 187 is 180 mm tall. so 33-13+43 would equal 890 - 10mm shy of reaching 900 mm
    What on earth is he talking about?
    I personally LOVE it when people play games while explaining something instead of just explaining it. Presumably this could be explained in less than 1 minute.

    Why on earth is there no T lock in the center of the king box?

    • @coolbugfacts1234
      @coolbugfacts1234 11 месяцев назад

      you can dock two normal systainers on top of the XXL, so it needs a t lock on both sides.

    • @thereefaholic
      @thereefaholic 11 месяцев назад

      Yes but you can’t dock the long black x centered on top of a small box or the other way around. Imagine pushing a stack down a city street and having that long box cantilevered on the top like he did. Every crack in the sidewalk would cause your stack to fall over.

    What makes NO SENSE is that the Clamp box with the holes on top is a sys-1 and has no way (seemingly) to stack to align with the MFT/3.... THAT is a OBVIOUS FAIL!

    Systainers have always been well made expensive crap for on site workers . Clip un clip boxes everywhere , find what you want clip all back together so you have space to work. I made my own drawer system 7 years ago cheaper to make and so much better for productivity . I am suprised how ling its taken but most guys I know are going for drawers by Milwaukee and Dewalt .

      So true.. I’m seeing plenty of Festool users adopting other brand’s tool boxes that don’t require top-entry.
