Prossibly a nice addition to the top of the tool box would be a multimeter or a multimeter current clamp, I got a very good and compact UT210E myself and been using it for years now, no complaints and it has worked reliably for myself. An amazing bit of kit you got there good sir.
Wow, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I have done a similar thing to my festool boxes. I also split a 3 drawer systainer into a 2 drawer systainer. I remember, I had to make 6 metal wedges and push each wedge into the 6 locations in the drawer frame, then give it a good pull to separate the drawer frames. I thought I was the only person who knew how to split the systainer drawers. In my festool systainer, I have also put small tables on the sides. They are very useful for putting tools on so you don't have to bend all the time. My side table surfaces dismantle and go inside the tool box though to allow for transportation. I can try to get a video on RUclips sometime if you are interested to see it. Keep up the good work!
Hello Max. I set up a RUclips channel to show you some quick movies of my Festool toolboxes. They are not as nice as yours though. This link should work... www.youtube.com/@johnshaw1883/videos
Im not even a tool guy, or a sub but came to check this out from your driveway video discussing this toolbox. Fantastic organization, intensely German. Consider me a tool guy, and a sub!
well thought through box. Designing and printing these are so satisfying if it all falls in place . I recognise a lot of the tools in my box too. Weicon no 5 missing! (I was sceptical, plastic tool, can't be good, but it's the quickest and most efficient tool when stripping loads of wires).. I am not a fan of the Wera allen keys with the large bulky plastic on it. everybody seems to be using them, but I personally favour their stainless set. Also a fan of that 35Nm 12V bosch driver.
3:08 the orange caps i know for sure are not for electrical cables. They are for phone / alarm cable that have a low voltage and carry a low current. I know this for a fact because i worked with it and i an a full licensed electrician too ... Since you said they are for " garden electric stuf and water tight" yea they are water tight but again you cant have anything bigger then a cat 5 cable as an example .. but even for that they are bad because they would cut those cabels right out .. ( since they are single core often) Just sort of feel need to warn people so they dont start using them for any 230 volt stuff ... the blue cap once i cant comment on, dont remember using them ever
I would find room for a 12v Milwaukee bandsaw or jigsaw, a caulking gun, pry bar, level you could hang those from the table on the side. A plumb bob, 4'" vise, some sandpaper electrical duct and painters tape, super glue with accelerator, heat shrink, headlamp, small coil of dyneema line and you should be able to handle most things that can be finished or repaired in a day.
Super cooles Konzept Max! VG
Max, can you provide more information about the quick releases, the little snap and the cupholder? where did you buy them and or with what name can they be found with google? Nice cart By the way
Hey, my amazon store is in Germany, but the cupholder is easy to find I guess. Those quick releases can be found if you type in Camera quick release or camera snap mount.
Buy one every six months. I am a multi trade and I have to say, they are the best thing on the market. I don't regret a single one I have bought or the wheels etc.
There are way better boxes to buy- Toughsystem2 or Packout for example. Watch where he opens the drawers- sticky... Others have quality metal roller slides. Much stronger construction, too.
Hi Max, what about PPE, or personal protective equipment, not sure if I saw that, but if you added, I missed and apologize. If you don't please think about adding it for your safety when working and making. 🤓That's you with safety glasses on, LOL.
@@MaxMakerChannel thanks for the feedback. I was afraid of that. Everyone is using the pack out and I wanted to be different. I work turn arounds at power plants and refineries and need something rugged.
"Blue Wheels" are not too bad for this, as being used for flight cases to transport event equipment. They're a reasonable compromise between tiny wheels and those balloony big tires as in a wheel barrow. Diameter is 100mm /ca. 4 in. and they are firm enough to not wobble too much and soft enough to give in a bit. Either way the problem one might run into is tipping hazard. The higher off the ground the cart goes the more likely it will tip bcs of the small footprint. Loading it top heavy makes it worse. Plz rmember a Festool Systainer box is only 40 x 30 cm in footprint (15.75 x 12 in.)
Awesome. I recommend to add a Tajima Scraper. Love it and use it all the time. As many others I just found your channel through your latest and probably first viral video. Crazy how viral it went. The content is pretty cool though. Do you think the comment from stuff made here boosted the virality a lot?
Awesome setup I have a few questions I am hoping you can answer! What festool systainer are you using on top with the open tool storage? What are the tool dividers in the video for your pliers and screwdrivers? What is the attachment for your Bosch drill driver that allows it to hang off the systainer? Thanks great ideas 👍 💡.
I think he mentioned the inserts in the tool caddy were 3d printed. The open top tool box with the handle is listed as a "tool box" on festools website.
Woher hast du die Einsätze/ Halterung her für dein Werkzeug, was du in der kiste verklebt hast? Aus einem 3D Drucker? Würd mich über ne kurze Rückmeldung freuen!
Hey, yeah it is a camera light for filming. There are a lot of chinese models out there. I connected it with a camera accessory gimble. So 100% camera equipment.

I'm almost finished with school and was interested. I am still in the searching phase and looking for ideas and inspiration.
Hauptsache du machst etwas was du interessant findest. Gerade Handwerker sind gefragt wie nie. @@MaxMakerChannel Hello, I have put the video on RUclips now.
I love the way you have attached things (the square) to the SYS-TOTE 🙂
Very cool. Could you share some plans for the 3d printed Inlays?
im specifically looking for the wera alan key holder, thats just so good!
That looks Great Max, I can see a lot of thought went in to this build 🛠👍😊

Thanks for sharing your mods, Max.

Love the collection and the tools you make
Sweet kit! Did I miss it or do you perhaps need a few loose sheets of a few grits of sandpaper? Maybe add a some abrasives and light solvents.
The sandpaper is a good idea. Ill add it to the list! The Isopropyl is good for all kinds of glue and grease.

Thanks for watching! Greatings from Germany : )
hi, i would put some Knipex 180mm pliers in the toolbox an i would change the Bosch 12v Driver to the Flexiklick driver
Very nice build!! Please be so kind and list the sustainer formats of it so we can build the same!🙏
Great design
Absolutely brilliant
You should add a first aid kit to this :) never know when there's an acident!
Gut gelöst.
Very cool, lot of good ideas in there.
great do more 3d Accesories for the festool .Forsintant longer items. and can you share you designs so we can print them too thanks
I learned so much, thank you for sharing great ideas!!! 😊👍
Awsome, Thanks Max 😊
That's really cool. I like that.
i suggest bolting on a churro maker on the side for fuel
Nice work on this
Very nice!
Can you please post the stls and f3d files for the organizers so others can print and modify them? I am not sure if you use thingiverse or printables.

hey cool video. Festool looks good quality. I like the whole 3d print design.

Hi awesome video, what is the height of the drawers?
I don’t know exactly. About 6-7cm.
@@MaxMakerChannel thanks! :)
Very nice set up. I'm inspired to finally update my home based tool cart. Now to find a weekend to implement!
I don't use even a quarter of the tools in there, but I want this!
Maybe a place for the kitchen sink…seems to be the only item you forgot. Just kidding, very nice setup. Hils fra Danmark 🇩🇰
I got excited and checked what these Festool boxes cost to buy and now I can't stop crying 🥺.

Mega Turm!! Welche Lampe ist das genau? Und welcher Halter?
Die Lampe ist eine 0815 Videolampe. Der Halter kommt aus dem Fotobereich. Das sind so Schnellverschlüsse.
This is beautiful.
Sehr nice.

How is it rolling across rocks or gravel?

@@MaxMakerChannel thanks for the feedback. I was afraid of that. Everyone is using the pack out and I wanted to be different. I work turn arounds at power plants and refineries and need something rugged.
If I needed bigger wheels I would just strap the whole thing to a cart for crates. Like the one movers use. With 300mm wheels.
