All Might vs Might Guy is an older battle that you guys would enjoy. Don't worry about spoilers. Both the manga and anime of MHA have far surpassed it at this point, so there's no need to avoid it.
27:35 That wasn't an error in Power Rangers that Jason had the Dragon Power Coin. The Context was it was at the end of an episode where they said, "What are we going to do? Rita has all our Power Coins." Jason goes, "...Not all of them." and pulls out the Dragon Coin.
Yeah, Goldar had only demanded the five power coins in service at the time to depower the then-active Rangers. Since Tommy had already lost to the candle, they didn't care about the Green coin.
I got my booklet from the MMPR DVDs signed at a convention a few years ago. I got JDF, Walter. David, Katherine Sunderland (Pink 2), Karan Ashley (Yellow 2), and (Red 2). I’m only missing Amy Jo and Johnny Young Bosch. It really fulfilled a childhood dream to meet some of my heroes, and I’m so sorry you didn’t get the chance, Nate. Hopefully you can still meet the others. I agree on Walter, he was so cool to my kid and stopped to say something to her even though he was late getting to his table at the convention.
The 2003 TMNT series is still my personal favorite. I think it had a good mix of everything and got surprisingly hardcore at times (those who remember Stockman know what I'm talking about.)
Mine is just ones I use to watch more which is the 2012 tmnt and the other I forgot which was shredder a krang I right now forgot what era or we’ll time date it was.
5:40 It's a bit more complicated than that. Tommy was originally only going to return as a sixth Ranger. Thing is, around this time Austin St. John, Thuy Trang, and Walter Jones were fiired over pay disputes. so they redid the relevant lines to make Tommy the new leader instead of leaving that position with Jason and then giving it to the next Red Ranger.
“It has teen titans go vibes” Yeah, that’s what I said, that’s what we all said. Then the movie happened, everyone actually liked it, and the show got cancelled soon after.
The 10-minute run time probably also didn't help matters because this same company is now working on Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and that was already an improvement thanks to having a full 30-minutes for them to actually balance the action and humor with. Unlike RotTMNT when it started out where it would get a little too TTGish and dedicate entire episodes to annoying jokes. At least when it started out. Halfway through the writing improved enough but by then the damage was done.
I grew up with both these shows because they were repeated in the mid to late 2000s maybe early 2010s when I was growing up and I have always thought the power rangers theme was bad ass it's so cool I love it so much and it goes beyond nostalgia bias.
Speaking of Next Mutation, if you ever really REALLY want to hurt yourself watching that, stick to Phelous' video reviews on every episode. Phelous may not be everyone's cup of tea but he's great at tearing that show apart. Same goes for the Mortal Kombat cartoon as well. 22:48 They did but they could only get away with it by having him get back up and later we find out he's an alien brain thing in a robot suit. Basically they combined Shredder and Krang into one character.
One thing that should be noted is that Eastman and Laird actively expressed their disapproval over how their property was handled in the 80s show, hence they both played a sizeable role (or at least one of them did, I don't remember exactly) in the production of the 80s show. Hence, a lot of the plots and tones of the first few seasons are inspired from their own comics, just incorporating more of the lightheartedness and color of the 80s show. Sort of a best of both worlds blend. It's currently my favorite incarnation of the the turtles, with the 2012 show coming in close second. I even have ideas for a TMNT show I'd love to make someday (that I've actually shared character art on your Discord server of and Nic commented on some of the first batch) that takes inspiration from various turtle and non-turtle sources, but very heavily the 2003 show. Also fun fact, the 2003 show only this year finally got itself a DVD box set. Before, it had very convoluted physical releases that were expensive, out of order shelf hogs. I intend to get it for myself once I can afford to.
I mean, they equal to the Justice League in terms of strength and teamwork. Power Rangers are mainly OP without their zords. Not even Gundam Eypon, Voltron Force or Akane can take on any of them.
Listen Renegades, the 2012 and 2018 series do have flaws sure, but they are both worth watching. 2012 has great character development and arcs, along with high stakes. 2018 has so much humor and great animation, along with watching the characters become who we love. If anything, at least watch the Rise movie that came out last year, it was AMAZING!!!!!!!
There’s this one reaction channel I used to watch who was so obsessed with power rangers, I knew Jason won this battle simply because that reactor uploaded his reaction lol
Leonardo actually beheaded the Shredder in both the 2003 and 2012 versions of the animated series, though with different contexts and repercussions to both. Speaking personally while I grew up with the 1987 series my personal favorite is the 2003 version. And while in terms of movies the TMNT CGI movie is the worst overall visually, we can all agree '"The Next Mutation" aka "Hero Turtles" is the worst by far..... except for the "Out of their Shells" / "We Wish You A Turtle Christmas" musical videos.... those are the worst ones out of them all. And yes i'm including the Michael Bay movies in that assessment.
In the last ronin series of comics which most comic TMNT consider the canon ending of The original TMNT comic book black and white that originally was made by the 2 of original creators whixh is fiting with the dark bloody stories of the original in a adult form micheal angelo is develop harder skin with even a low grade healing factor its not fast enough to keep him alive if he is decapitated or lose 2 much blood and he took alot of hits from weapons before being force to retreat
Hm, honestly, the Rise of the TMNT wasn’t that bad, it pretty much was TMNT The Anime. Also, does any of you know of Super Sentai? Speaking of which, which would be your most wanted Super Sentai vs Power Rangers Matchup?
All Might vs Might Guy is an older battle that you guys would enjoy. Don't worry about spoilers. Both the manga and anime of MHA have far surpassed it at this point, so there's no need to avoid it.
The irony of a power ranger more likely to win outside the mech in vs debates rather than in it when the show has it the opposite.
Proof that you don’t need zords to win.

Leonardo had no armor no chance against a power ranger.
No, but he has one of the best DB records. Dude's still a champ.
He has his shell, that his armor doofus
@@5Akecheta4 it didn't help.
@@chimelxatrindad1516 It did when he came out of the portal and deflected his shot doofus

On a similar note, I wanna see the Battletoads get re-included again. I'm sure they'd have some good stats/MUs.
Since you did Leonardo vs Jason, Shredder vs Silver Samurai is also amazing and I'd recommend doing that one as well.
28:04 Well, Nick, that was on the moon, for Jason had the benefit of extra air time

Amazing what the Rangers can do once they step out of their toy merchandise Zords.

Leo didn't behead shredder in the 2012 series. But he still killed him so the point still stands.
Sadly, the only TMNT game Ive played was the DS port of the 2007 movie game
The soundtrack what death battle has is wonderful i thinks its nics cup of Tea
