One thing I could assign to his fruit juices are the excessive intake of complex sugars through them, which even though not as bad as direct intake of glucose in a diabetic person, may still cause some form of harm to a diabetic. Other than that, modern medicine has no evidence (neither do you, apparently) that excessive fruit juices can cause pancreatic cancer.
