      😢💔😥As someone too whom was adopted, by a phenomenal woman whom became the mom I never had.😥😔😢 Whom sadly if not heartbreakingly passed and her absence has been incredibly devastating.💔🥀💔 The woman whom birthed me has never taken any type of responsibility for the neglect, abuse, abandonment, along with other biological family members whom also do not. Hold her responsible, nor have ever showed any care to me, I am a product of foster care from childhood through my teens into my twenties.🥺🙇🏽😥 In my mid thirties now and the scars run deeply, my biological father tried a little to be there for me as he could. Though tragically passed from an overdose and I was robbed of any more type of relationship I could’ve had with him. Due to the woman whom birthed me, robbing me of that as a child, I weep through the relatability while watching Kirk’s story & journey.😢😪😥 I also weep and mourn because I still need my beloved adopted mom, the mom I never had, along with dad, sadly feel as though I’ve loss so much too soon.💔 I am in an age group, where most have their parents or a parent if not a stepparent.🥺😔🥺 I don’t feel that many could understand especially as an adoptee, or what foster children/teens endure. Does anyone really care, and I don’t want to honestly most days within this unbearable weight painful grief, trauma, deep pain, want to remain here in this world or life.💔 Parentless, and abandoned still. I will never be able to still hug, and or, even talk to my dad. Losing my adopted mom I’ve felt too soon, my rock, she was, and sense of security, all gone.💔 It’s unfair & unfortunate, how it seems some suffer more than others in this country if not world.😥😔😢

    His mom’s and aunt’s behavior was disturbing for me. I would love to know why she is so adamant about this not being true.

      Denial mixed the combination of "the triplets--shame, guilt and regret--." For his mom, the acknowledgement that Rick was the father was evidence of her promiscuity, that she slept with multiple young men and wasn't sure of who impregnated her at time.

    I would have to say that I was more so drawn to Kirk’s mom story versus his… I believe that there is some form of mental blockage, illness, and or trauma surrounding her life and giving birth. Obviously she did the best that she knew how and gave Kirk a better life. Imagine being pregnant at 15 with obviously no support from family and ain’t no tell what other issues where going on as a teenager girl who obviously had more than one sexual experience by 15. So focused on her lying to him, and can’t realize that something is wrong with my mom , if she can’t believe facts in front of her face. All things take time and I hope and pray his heart changes towards him mom and dive a little bit deeper to get her the healing she needs.

      You are so right! My BFF and I had this same convo. There's so much more to her story that we will probably NEVER know because she isn't truthful.

    This doc was tough to watch, but did explain a lot about Kirk. I could relate with a Iot of it like family secrets. Those old timers held on to their truth until the grave. I knew that Kirk was adopted, but I never knew that he saw and knew his mom!
    I've alway wondered about Kerrion, his son. For a long time, it was just the two of them until he met and married Tammy. Tammy came into the relationship with a daughter and I've seen Kirk talk about her and call her his daughter. I've never seen Tammy talk about or interact with Kerrion publicly. Once Tammy and Kirk started having children together, it apoeared to me that Kerrion was pushed further to the back. He didn't really have family on Kirk's side. I wonder if Tammy's family accepted him.

      It was very tough to watch! Family secrets are real & it hurts all parties involved.
      You brought up some great points. I never thought about Kerrion & Tammy's relationship. Do we know anything about Kerrion's mom?
      Again, all of this speaks to so much generational trauma😫

    • @monicab2686
      @monicab2686 Год назад +2

      @@KiaundraJackson when the audio of Kirk cussing out Kerrion surfaced, I remember that Kerrion's mom was interviewed. She supported Kirk and said that Kerrion was not abandoned, they did the best that they could as teenage parents. But perhaps Kerrion felt abandoned. It reminds me of parents who tell children to stop crying when they skin their knee. And tell the kids that they are not hurt. I don't know the whole story, but I feel like they thought that Kerrion should have been happy with money or opportunities when what he wanted and needed, just like Kirk, was a relationship with his dad.

      They were kids. Probably his parents knew and protected him too. Imagine if Kirk's mom gave birth to him at 15. She probably got pregnant at 14. The father could be younger than her or same age. They were kids. The mom is till hiding something too. I hope she wasn't raped etc.

    The truth is so powerful, especially when paired with accountability and forgiveness. He's led many toward a more faithful path, it's wonderful to see him receive answers and healing. His Mom should watch your videos, you give great advice about how to be honest even when it's hard. If she learns to be honest with herself first, maybe that will lead her back to her son. There is love there, beneath a lot of anguish. Like you said, he's smart to set boundaries in the meantime. That shows so much maturity and helps prevent him from having that scar tissue ripped off again and again, until she is ready to be honest so they can work to heal the scar, permanently.
