Sherri did an excellent job in making his anxiety and being gentle with the questions knowing that he is still going through the process and trauma of what he is experiencing. And Kirk is a phenomenal artist. I've been listening to him since the DFW Choir days (1st album). He is in my prayers.

My heart goes out to him for his past hurt and pain. On the other side of the coin, is he a gospel artist or a sex symbol? His display of sex appeal is becoming a bit too much...from the tight p*nis hugging pants to the shirtless move coming on to the Sherri show. It's a little difficult paying attention to the gospel lyrics that comes out of his mouth while his privates are on display and his dance moves are salacious. Ijs 🤷🏾♀️
I was like what is he wearing…and what is the point..My heart goes out to him, but we need to hold him accountable for the way he presents himself to the world.

Kirk Franklin is always my favourite gospel artist at all times and in matter of fact I met him at my church when he came into my hometown in Huntsville Alabama and performed his debut album to my church family at Oakwood University and Oakwood college is a community college with all different of coloured people and I have a play auntie how is like a auntie to me and she surprise me to meet Kirk Franklin and Kirk is very nice and sweet and he gave me a hug I love hugs especially from Kirk Franklin and thank you Kirk for your love and generosity and I appreciate kindly and you are a gift from god

I love Kirk Franklin and was glad to be at his Reunion Tour with Israel Houghton, Tamela and David Mann, Tye Tribbett,Clark Sister's and others. It was a privilege to be there and I enjoy every minute of it. Was there last year when he came with the Maverick City with Chandler Moore and took pictures. Love you Kirk.
He may have changed the face of Gospel music, which is true, but is it holy, are the people listening praising God, what is the difference between you and those of the world if you are copying the world and pretend to praise God?
If you read the scriptures, the rules have been set, we cannot change the words of God.
After all the Bible says:
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world.

I am one who reads the scriptures because i am trying to get a relationship with God, but not a Christian, i dont believe in religion, i want to be a man of God, if you know what that means.

I’m Winning Wounded!
Praying 🙏🏽 that Kirk will allow God to turn his ashes into beauty. This will mean a RELINQUISHING of his ENTIRE WILL unto God. I am a "living" witness that God can move this way in his life if he TRUSTS GOD, and none other, not even himself.
I stand NOT knowing what it feels like not to know your biological FATHER and all the trauma that ensues with it. However, I do know childhood trauma from a place of molestation/incest and the many ungodly and unhealthy things (promiscuity, abortions and relationships (abusive, divorce) that pursued from that. I can UNEQUIVOCALLY say God can HEAL and make you WHOLE again IF you SUBMIT to HIS HEALING process, doing things HIS WAY, according to HIS WORD. I remember the Holy Spirit telling me, "If you NEVER get an apology from your ex-husband, do YOU want to be HEALED?" I've been divorced 27 years and still have not gotten an apology and neither do I need or look for one. I allowed God to HEAL my heart and emotions.
Who ever has been HURT DEEPLY, it takes the skilled hand of a LOVING Father in the person of God to FULLY RESTORE your life. I can testify to this GREAT BLESSING!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Wishing Kirk Franklin and every other person GOD'S BEST on their journey of restoration. It's NOT an easy one, but it's well worth it when you "see" the good fruit on the other side of it. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰
Kirk Franklin you are amazingly great in person you made me cry yesterday because my husband went through almost the same thing. But his dad passed away over 25 years ago and never got to meet him.
