  • I'm abroad, capturing scenes for my lenses review, I hope you don't mind a bit of flaw production.
Small corrections: 00:33:20 is an f/4!
My words "now", I want to mean, until the late '80s to 90.
The lens MIR or WORLD-20M, indeed, is already a F3.5., it's not sharp, samples here, you may notice in the same place the exposure condition has reduced his brightness. Yes, this is due to closing the aperture from f/5.6 to f/8 because, after many attempts, the picture came out of focus. Extra care to focus is needed which is slow and tiring. Traveling from England to Scotland, I gave up using this lens. The newest version (20-N) is better.

Thus lens looks more impressive than it performs, also I was expecting more distortion. Interesting but not a must have I guess. I'll be waiting for the comparison 😁

You are right. It's not a must have. If I tell you how many photos I deleted because are out of focus, your reaction will be this🙄. Im my camera settings, I was using the "low" focusing assist, a very thin line, to be very cautious on "where am I focusing". If choose the "medium", most of them follows to the bin but, when you nail the target at 100%, at f5/6 or even F/8, this is the result. Thanks for your comment and wait for the Flecktogon.😊
