My family was part of that 10 member family...started in his home...pastor Evans used to work at greyhound while going to Dallas theological seminary...crystal Priscilla me and my brother grew up together...I left Dallas shortly after high school...as pastor Evans...the Word says ...tho a righteous man falls ..he shall not utterly be destroyed..God got his back...as do I...

I believe because of him stepping down from his Pastoral Duties. I pray he will hear God, and allow him to take this time to be redeem into God. And let God do His Job, and move out of God's way. The thing is that most of the people that God used, uses and will continue to use have some type of "skelton in there closet". I believe this is how most of us have come to know God..... one way or another.

Actually, I respect Tony Evans even more because he checked himself through the Holy Spirit. Oftentimes, many pastors, who are caught in a sin, are too proud and arrogant to humble themselves before our Holy God. We are admonished, through scripture, that we are to check ourselves to see if we are in the faith. Tony Evans is demonstrating to the family of God what confession of sin and repentance look like. Even if our sin may not be known to others, we know what we did, and should follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. May Jesus strengthen him with all power according to his glorious might that he might have great endurance and patience. God be with Tony Evans. 🙏🏿🎚❤️

I just recently did a video on this subject as well. Tony’s my guy and has been very instrumental in my walk with Christ. But I’m glad he’s stepping down to deal with whatever’s going on. Just because someone has sinned doesn’t make him a non Christian . We should forgive like we would want Jesus Christ to forgive us. Knowing his sin is not important to me ! What is important to me is that I forgive him and pray for him. Love one another is what we should do not point fingers cause WE have all fallen short!

I truly respect this man! Who are we to cast any stones? Who hasn't fallen short of God's Glory? I admire Dr. Evans and where does forgiveness come in, he said this happened years ago, I sincerely feel this shouldn't be happening now!

I'm not talking about the "sin" but I believe its more to this story. It mentioned that he shared this with his wife, children and family but correct me if I'm wrong but his wife passed a few years ago....

Also, and I know I am not the only one, I know sin is sin but not knowing exactly what happened is killing me. I sat and said "Michele, it doesn't matter", but it does. I really admire Dr. Evans and will continue to listen to his messages. Now is that just the nosey Michele surfacing, Am I just using not knowing as an excuse to dig deeper on the internet until I find the answer to what he did or is God using this to teach me whatever he has for me to learn. Ive been awake since 9 and have been focused on this since I found out. And Wendy, its your turn now cause we know God doesn't make mistakes and our internet paths crossed for a purpose. And thank you for the Foundations of Faith Bible Reading Plan. It amazes me how God knows just what we need when we need it.

I knew I didn't want to go down the path of speculation, so that's why I encouraged others to just leave him at his word. It's a natural, human inclination to want to fill in the gaps and we have to be aware of that.

God is the Holy Creator of the Universe.We All as people sin against God every day.Every single sin makes us ineligible to be in God’s presence All sin must be forgiven even petty disputes with other people on a regular basis, but thanks to pride or shame or apathy some don’t even try to ask for forgiveness.🙏🏾

He said he’d do it and never did. Actually out of his mouth was “abandonment “ as I had just explained to him a certain situation and couldn’t find the actual words. However, as I was standing there, I felt something not good within him. Never could shake it..and now this. 🙏🏽

If he confessed his fault ( sin) to God, whatever it may be, God is willing and just to forgive, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If Manasseh could be redeemed by God’s love and grace, then Mr. Evans and anyone who falls short of God’s glory and truly repents can and will be redeemed also. God loved/loves us all in our mess and extends His mercy daily. Proverbs says we fall but we get back up. (Remember, a saint is just a sinner who fell down and love lifted him/her on to solid ground again. Jesus looks beyond our faults and sees our need when we acknowledge our sinfulness before Him. Let Him do His healing and restoration work in and for Mr Evans, while we search our owns hearts and ask God to show us if we have any hidden sins in our lives we do not recognise as sin that we too can seek His forgiveness and cleansing.
Hopefully the restoration process will be fruitful.

I have listened to Dr. Tony Evans for many years. He has always been a cut above the rest and I viewed him as a man of great integrity. He is an exceptional biblical preacher and he will be in my prayers that this will all turn out for the best for him.

This pastor came clean by confessing. The elders did what the binle says. So keep the paster and elders in prayer at all times. Their fellowship must get together in prayer as not throwing stones but standing by the pastor and his family in prayer. They are family and the pastor is their spritual father. I know this that GOD still LOVES Pastor Tony Evans and judgement is why HE, GOD is in DALLAS, TEXAS…. many works made and power plays from knowing Pastor Evans are in the SPIRIT OF TRUTH for JESUS visiting the Oak Cliff BF flock and the church ⛪️ was prepared for a “salting” and trial as He had spoken to us about for a decision from HEAVEN. I learned while attending this church that my health was attacked and GOD revealed that there was a “lie” following and I was grieved… A “lie” is a sin to “lie” is a sin and many have been found out about their “sins” and GOD has judged that’s the GLORY and I am happy to know that GOD is on this church ⛪️ to cast out those matters of “sin” as the HOLY SPIRIT had been brought to the BODY OF CHRIST so that we may LIVE and NOT die!

Love conquers all things..I learned to love people more and more , its the most important commandment that God left for his children to love one and other and its not difficult just tell yourself we are all the same in Gods kingdom. ""Learn to forgive those that do you wrong bc is not them but the evil one"" Temptations is in front of us but through prayers and thanksgiving to God the power of the holy spirit in us will help us to run away from it .
