Hi friend, I'm starting to record some videos, I would like to know what camera you use to record portables like this from the front, thank you
Its honestly more about lighting. You want some very bright lights setup so you can have the device display brightness up as well. Most of my overhead videos are actually shot with an iPhone 14 Pro on a mount with two bright led light panels setup and a mat.
@@GameTechPlanet Thank you very much friend, I'm using a canon sl3, 18.55 lens but it has a lot of noise. I tested it with my iPhone 14 Pro Max and the difference is brutal. Regarding lighting, I only use a 100w bulb 💡. Thank you friend. I will research more about lighting.
Is your ally non z1 extreme?
would you recommend on the steam deck for playing the game entirely on? (no gaming pc) i was thinking of picking it up
So far. Yea. I havent run into any issues 10-13 hours in. Not to say I wont tho and its launch time of an early access game. Im loving it tho and the trackpads on deck make it very nice as well

@@oo--7714 absolutely. I get by fine without a trackpad in the Ally and Claw. But on the deck and Go its definitely a welcome feature especially if we are talking g games like this one
I find the best way to zoom in and out is to set the left trackpad as the mouse wheel (scroll wheel). Set the "clockwise command" to "scroll wheel up" and counter clockwise command to "scroll wheel down."

I use my left track pad as a radial menu and set the zoom in and out to my L4 and L5 and I just adjust some settings so when I press the buttons it will continuously zoom in or out respectively.
@@justarandomstranger279 I often link the racial menu to L4-R5 button to use with the track pads. I like to zoom in and out with speed.
@@smidlee7747 what do you mean by linking with L4/L5 with trackpad? Is that a combination of buttons?
@@justarandomstranger279 I'm referring to action sets. Often use one of the back button hotkey to an action set like turn the left Track pad to radial menu for example. Action sets are useful with games with a lot of hotkeys.
Action sets allows you to totally remap all the buttons and track pads.
For example Cold Waters has a community layout (Robs) with three action sets , 1) submarine 2) views and windows 3) weapon/scope controls. Hold L5 for Views and Windows and hold R5 for weapon controls.
So game pass is a no go?
Its a no go unless u find some software to setup some kind of controller emulation or mapping. I haven’t gone down that road in awhile to see if its possible
@@GameTechPlanet thanks for the reply and going over the handheld performance much appreciated. Perhaps adding the game through steam as a “non steam game” then configuring input through there may work but not sure will have to test it out.
Is the MSI getting better ? Do it think it has the opportunity to being as good or better than the Rog alley after updates ?
@@USA2k110 I own a Claw, its getting ALOT better. Not sure if it will ever outperform the Ally, but in the games I'm currently playing it pretty much matches it.
@@jmiller991 will it run GTA 5 or madden good ? And isn’t technically the Arc and intel 7 ultra 155h a more powerful chip than the z1 extreme ?
