We love the long form! Love seeing “favorites” videos, monthly, drugstore, what have you. I like it more because everyone else seems to be doing short form. It’s hard to get product reviews these days that aren’t just people exchanging the product for a review.

I love the grwm style and also the older tutorial type videos you used to make where you went super in depth about application techniques and especially how to get base products to lay seamlessly into the skin.

I miss your youtube videos SO MUCH! It used to be my relaxing time every week. I prefer them much more than the short-form videos. I have wondered where you've been. And I especially love your videos talking about hyperpigmentation or makeup looks with one brand, and just good blush recommendations :) But maybe even an updated skincare routine?
VASTLY prefer these RUclips videos to the shorter ones. Especially new drugstore releases and/or drugstore dupes for high end. Great stuff!

i understand that for a creator sometimes it can be hard to decide what to do because of the trends. Right now it's the short form contents but I truly believe that youtube is the blue print; longform contents just like movies or series it's what people will always engage with!
RUclips is where I followed people like you sharing the same passions for beauty make up selfcare etc and as followers we had the chance to build a wonderful relationship for years with creators, and i think it's beautiful. When we're on youtube, we click on videos of creators we truly appreciate and "know" but short form contents, we can see people that we don't know of and won't interact or see ever again... while on youtube we CHOOSE to watch the creator and their contents.
Maybe there is a balance to find between keeping being "relevant" (because it's your job, of course i understand) + trying not be so lost on trends with posting short form contents AND following what you did for years, a passion, posting a video that you genuinely want to post, and BELIEVE ME that there will always be people to watch those!
I think only time and tries will help you find your own balance of contents! remember you don't HAVE to post anything you don't want, either for tiktok or youtube, but follow your passions what excites most, and your authenticity, and genuine love for makeup and all of that are what help you build a special bond with us.

I am here for the traditional style, RUclips videos! I watch a few shorts here and there, but definitely prefer these videos and to have a conversation. Especially since I am not on TikTok or Instagram. Thank you for sharing all of these pretty neat looking products with us! I am amazed at how far drugstore make up has come, and the quality of it really does rival luxury products! Make up is not some thing I want to invest my money in, but I do want to look good so drugstore first it is for me. I appreciate you showing us application and comparisons also!
Being honest, there are some people those shorts are better for, because at times they aren’t as interesting in long form. YOU however, are one of the few RUclipsrs I want to listen to for 10+ minutes. Get ready with me, brings me back to your old videos years ago. I live for those! This is such a great video and I have to agree both the Revlon Illuminance foundation and the Joah are GORGEOUS on the skin if you want more of a skin like base, but looking more even, youthful (especially with the Joah) and still having it almost undetectable on the skin. They work great for any age and any skin type imo too. I am so happy to see an influencer showing Joah some love because even though it’s a CVS brand essentially and the prices are more of what you think of when you hear drugstore, they make some banger products. The liquid drop foundation, this foundation, the under eye brightener concealer with the click pen packaging are must haves. The aqua brow pencil is another one that rivals the best of the best brow pencils.

I only use RUclips (deleted everything else about a year ago), so I will take all the content I can get! I love your drugstore reviews...you always bring up products other RUclipsrs aren't talking as much about, &/or products I've forgotten about.
*Ideas for videos I'd love to see- a K-Beauty video where you test out a few different products from each category & give little reviews. An updated "one and done" eyeshadows, or a video where you name your top 3 favorites in every makeup category (or even subdivide the categories and do favorite shadow topper, matte liquid shadow, shimmer liquid shadow, single shadow, quad, palette, etc.), & I'd love to see a video where you do your makeup the opposite of how you usually do it (elaborate eyeshadow look, all saturated monochromatic look) or "out of my comfort zone" makeup techniques/trends! XOXO

I love your long form videos! I’ve been following you for years (yours is the channel I’ve followed most consistently), and I find your content so informational and inspiring. I also really enjoy when you treat us to fashion content and jewelry content because you have impeccable, more classic style that jives with me. I’m sure others agree.

I much prefer a longer RUclips video (10-20minutes) than a TikTok or shorter video but I am 37 and just been here for the old school RUclips before the short media platforms. But I totally get leaning towards that because it seems that’s what this up and coming generation prefers or maybe not but it seems to be popular. I love that after my kids go to bed I can sit down and watch a 20 minute video instead of a bunch of TikTok’s but that’s just me. 💗 love your videos! Thank you so much for creating beauty content!

I really love your natural looks especially with an emphasis on drugstore makeup! I am not really wearing foundation any more, mostly concealer, a skin tint like the one from Saie and maybe a cream Fenty blush! I Ioved how you talk about eye tints too because I prefer those over my eyeshadow palettes!
