    As long as the worms aren't parasites or predators, I love them.

    They didn't mention another thing - leeches. I bought a bushy plant in the store, and with a smile on my face drove home. Later, before adding the plant to the aquarium, I looked into the bag with the plant, and there these bastards, who had just hatched, ran all over the package.
    it was disgusting.

    I love planarians, a while ago I found some in my aquarium, so I moved them to a separate jar where they reproduced a lot. I am fascinated by their biological qualities, their methods of reproduction, regeneration, feeding or even their systems and genetic characteristics, they are impressive animals but in general they are only removed from the aquarium as garbage

      Love your take on the subject. Planaria are some serious predators while looking very unassuming

    As someone who hates worms this was much needed, Keeping the tanking clean as possible is a good way to avoid having worms in your tank.

    When having a enclosed system it just don’t matter about over feeding or even water quality. Animals reproduce. Eventually they get out of control. Not because a wrong was done. They just had nowhere else to go.

      The best way to eliminate planaria without chemicals is using “No Planaria”. Which is safe for shrimp, fish and plants.

    There is good information here but also delivery of information in an inappropriately alarming way. All your "remedies" are heavily commercially slanted which is the baine of every fish keeper ..... Why is only the fish store profit the only goal ? The primary intertest of any competent fish store should not be the " quick buck profit way " but by keeping as many people keeping fish, the more there are, the more durable profits are made commercially, but for good reaspons, not the quick buck way. Pulling a quick buck eventually turns people away from the hobby - disgusted by being ripped off and not really having any real success with the hobby. To me, this is a very stupid if not the most stupid way to promote a hobby. I expected more from a channel like this.

      Given I don’t actually sell products not sure what you mean. I’ve used worms traps. Not much of a chemical person. You should check out BRS if you want to see informercials. It’s not the way I roll

    • @cococalm
      @cococalm 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@AquariumStoreDepot Thanks for the response. I apologise for assuming you were a commercial endeavour, the channel name led me to believe so. As a fish keeper, I am about the fish and ecosystems, no chemicals, no products and minimal equipment and as little interferance as possible once the tank is established/cycled. I despise the quick buck profit pushing LFS, whom I will avoid and even not recommend.
