Oh. My. God. I've found this after...what...20+ years. Used to scare me as a kid, the lion conductor. Now I see it and I'm like, "hot damn, they got some sick jam going."
Wow just wow!!! This was my first memory of seeing a cartoon in the early 90s on VHS. I always remembered the lion conductor and the start of the music.
This was my childhood. Not sponge bob, not some Disney show but this shit. No wonder I don’t relate to anyone... thanks mom and dad Edit: for context, I was born in 2000.
I had cable and WiFi but I used to have the dvd of this and I used to watch this for a period of 365 days and now it’s been 3 years since I watched this and it’s bringing back memories.
The part where the seal literally plays the Banjo is my favourite part.
glad im not alone on that :D
I remember watching this on VHS way back, in like 1994.
My favorite classic cartoon when I was a kid.
Now, you are beautiful ❤❤😂
Me too . Me and my sis watched this so many times
Really😮???
I'm addicted to this retro stuff!! 👌🏻👍🏻🙋🏻
Man I haven't seen this in 20 years!! And yet it still brings back good memories.
You know all the people involved were intelligent because of their appreciation for classical music.
You know some kids with adhd like classical music and kids with autism.
I'm not saying their not smart I'm saying anyone can enjoy classical music
I do not appreciate classical music. Does that imply I am not intelligent?
That's about all there was when this was made. Even Sinatra wasn't a thing yet
@@janborovicka9185 In that one regard, yes!
@@doctorfeinstone6524pretty sure there was jazz back

I remember feeling so sorry for the lion who was trying to be the sophisticated type while the others weren't doing so much of a good job at it😆.
This cartoon reminds me of Walt Disney`s Fantasia.
Love how the lion says it will be all sophisticated, only for all the cartoon foolery that he denied would be happening to actually happen.
Oh. My. God. I've found this after...what...20+ years. Used to scare me as a kid, the lion conductor. Now I see it and I'm like, "hot damn, they got some sick jam going."
I finally found it too, i use to watch this when I was like 4
Same with the scaring me part. It's interesting how we slowly get exposed to these things. I was so proud of myself once I overcame it.

And 3 years later Fantasia would finish what this started
Oh, Disney's Fantasia was three years after.
Cool, thank you. I was reminded of it too, but didn't know which one was the first.
I have a vhs tape that this and two others called A trip to the zoo and An Elephant never forgets.
Me and my sis used to watch this all the time
