LMAO THIS IS WHAT IM DOING FOR ENGLISH AND THEY WOULDNT SHOW US THE END- HEHEHEH FOUND IT 🤜🙄
How can such a high-quality video get so very little attention...Good job guys
More than animation, this movied learned to us that is possible chance our paramethers, and see the persons like thereare. A great idea. Im writting from Brazil.
Why go see Pixar movies when we have this?
4:48 D: My Director would kill me if i dropped it like that!
I hope this person is a professional, because it would be a shame if the work in this piece wasn't being paid for. Its certainly more then good enough to be paid for! :D
👍 make more like this one 👍 Rocky (from Rocky IV): "If I can change, you can change, everybody can change!"
How did they make the skin texture so realistic!? 5:40 it has like every little bump and imperfection that real skin has, this is a very well animated short.
did anyone else notice the window to the barborshop had a "white only" sign on it. it's shown at 2:43
Welcome to the 1930s, times were mad racist.
Yeah that's why he was trying only to play his military music rather than jazz because jazz came to be because of black culture so he resisted but eventually was overcome by the music
That's the whole point. A racist white man fell into black music styles, namely jazz and swing. In Europe those music styles were often called "n-word musik" and were outright banned in nazi Germany
I can listen to the solo scene all day, I wish they made a video with just that.
Freytag's Dramatic Structure of "SWING OF CHANGE" by ESMA
Exposition : Harry the racist barber doing his job in his workplace while listening to military/national music.
Initial Accident : Harry's phonautograph suddenly stopped working, leaving his workplace without the presence of music.
Rising Action : Harry was annoyed when he noticed that there is a black man playing jazz music outside of his workplace and took his trumpet. Unexpectedly, the black man instantly disappeared, leaving Harry confused.
Climax : Harry later realized that the trumpet is magical and could play on it's own. At first, he despised it because it plays jazz music (which is a genre of music originated from mostly african-american), but then he lower his inner barrier and continues to play with the trumpet until evening. But, as soon as he stopped, he shocked as he looks himself in the mirror and saw his skin turned to black.
Falling Action : He sits on his chair, contemplating his previous racial hatred towards the black culture.
Resolution : He changed his perspective and ripped the "white only" sign on his front window, welcoming anyone to his barbershop apart from their diversities.
Denouement : Harry is serving a black man in his barber, a visual symbolization of his positive change, and a good example of how music has so much impact in our social life and beliefs.
Thank you. I needed this explanation. I turned it off after seeing the sign White only.
Is there a soundtrack? Love this trumpet solo
Hey
When your in middle school band
Did anyone else see the man in the trumpet at 2:59??
What do you mean?
Pause just as the trumpet fully covers the screen and you can see a face
+Syndos lol i see it! U need to use .25 speeds tho.
+Syndos kind of...I can't get it down in time. But, I saw a bit of it...
+Syndos I saw it, but... what the...
Somebody get this to Pixar! This should be a full length movie! Man who cuts hair by day and a talented trumpet player by night. Could be nice to see something new for once
Drew Hughes I agree. This was a beautiful short film but in this day and age you probably wouldn't find anyone who would want to do anything with this and make it into a movie because of how everyone is so touchy and just looking for an excuse to cause problems over controversy instead of learning from it
well they could take ideas from it though....you could leave the whole race part out of it and I think they'd be fine
Drew Hughes yea I'm sure but I think that plays an important part in this short film
yeah it does...I would just like to see some different ideas for animated films these days...not much jumps out at me anymore
Real
What's the name of the song in the beginning?
Yo iba a esas peluquerías de sillones giratorios donde algunos se iban a afeitar !!!!
I can't believe this doesn't have more views! Fantastic work.
I've just finished my first animation and was hoping for big views, but it's not a patch on this.
TERRIFIC! Not only life's lessons learned, but outstanding animations, facial expressions, emotions and mood.
This animation is 12 years old and teaches kindness towards everyone regardless of skin color better than DEI.
pause at 2:59 and there i a creepy face
Who is it?
@@inlay75 inside the trumpet, use 0,25 and you will see
2:40
Found it. Another one to make fun of the trumpet animation as a musician
I don't know about your comment. Harry saw a black man in the mirror. Not his father. He realized how stupid he was for being such a racist. Music doesn't discriminate.
Man i thought he dropped the trumpet cos he was starting to get black😐😐 it kinda looked like it cos it was dark and so the color scheme was also darkish
Hi. Im trumpet player. Congratulations!!!! Is a very nice movie!!! ;-)
That awkward moment when it's 2013 and people are still racist.
What is name song 0:00-0:37 ? Please.
I love the music when it sounds like a march- i love songs like that, Wish I could find some similar to it
what is name of this song ?
Reallly great really great message and awsome music
Can u pls tell me
If Supergrillies Yea I got you! I’ll respond with the “message” explained tmm. And I’ll also make a video about it and post the link when it’s done. I can’t believe you replied to something I watched damn near 7 years ago😂
Where can I find the full version of that swing song that plays in the middle? Anyone please help me! This beautiful song keeps me up at night.
Dude this could easily be a movie where there’s like some ghost trumpet man who passes on this magic trumpet to people who need to change and helps them find their true selves
I love everything about this!
Who knows the name of the song which it has this video, the song is the type of jazz swing, like parov stelar, gramatik, caravan palace, etc, pls anyone can help me ?
This is brilliance, presented with style!
great video!I have been working on this at my school and find it the only fun challenge.
Very nicely done - but why say it all in the subline? Where's the reason to watch it...? Shame.
This is the most random prose I've ever come across.
And I love it.
My read is that it symbolizes the history of jazz and the way it connected black and white people during incredibly racist times.
First smile of the day for me. Good job folks!
Excelente
This could've easily been a whole feature film :-) Grand!!
Amazing
Bravo! :)
I want music's like this like jazz but a little bit of joy in it because of trumpets. Any suggestions?

This is amazing!! D:
I want a full song
in truth it's as easy as looking at your fellow man and telling yourself his race doesn't matter one little bit and you're gonna love him anyway
He had a change of heart and is no longer racist, shown by the fact that his business is open to men of all color.
Some white folks were fair minded back then.
What's this song called? Love it
