Fun facts: -The episode “The Yoshi Shuffle” would indirectly lead to the episode’s writer Kristopher Brown into becoming the first full time writer for Beavis and Butt-Head -The voice of Yoshi who’s name I forgot would later voice Diddy Kong in the English version of the Donkey Kong Country cartoon -Larry is the only Koopaling whose design changed to be closer to his model in Super Mario World but I’m surprised the other Koopalings didn’t receive the same treatment since the lesser color variety would have made them easier to animate
Other fun facts: 1. Yoshi happens to have a rather inconsistent design in the show, with a much bigger and lanky design and 3 neck spikes in the beginning of the show until Born to Ride, where he was made a little shorter and stubby with 4 neck spikes to better match his in-game sprite. Both designs did manage to keep his arms green, unlike the game where his arms were orange by mistake in the SNES version. Nevertheless, Yoshi's Shell was mistaken for a Saddle, which explains its rather Square appearance than Round for both show designs. 2. Certain aspects of Yoshi are missing in the show. We only see Green Yoshi, but Red Yoshi, Blue Yoshi, and Yellow Yoshi are completely absent. Not to mention how Yoshi never lays eggs in the show despite being able to do so by eating (I think) 8 pink fruits. 3. Unlike The Super Mario Bros. Super Show and The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, the SMW SFX is ripped poorly, almost as if they were captured during gameplay instead of direct rips from the ROM (this can easily be heard in Gopher Bash), and some sounds aren't even used correctly, such as the Magikoopa sound for skidding instead of the proper skid sound. The Yoshi tongue sound is the only sound absent in the show, instead using a reproduction of that sound. 4. During the show's title still before an episode begins, you can actually see a bit of Yoshi's head at the bottom right corner. This is actually a frame from the episode Fire Sale, where the heroes fall out of the warp pipe.
Oogtar was voiced by John Stocker, who played Toad in the other seasons. My guess is that his contract may have been renewed before DiC knew that Toad wasn’t in SMW, thus they created an OC for him.
I remember at lunch, my I was talking to my teacher about old cartoons. I then said "mama luigi" and she knew what I meant because she used to watch mario world as a kid.
Now its time to do something noone remembers, koopas cool cartoons. Im joking you dont have to dig that up to watch it, but you could do club mario, the thing that replaced the live action segments of super show and is more outdated then having elvira and seargent slaughter as guest stars.

Mama Luigi was perhaps the best Super Mario World episode. That as well as all the Captain N episodes that you could say were the final few episodes before they ran out of NES games to cover.
The songs in this television series are so awful, they make the songs in direct-to-video Disney sequels sound like nominees for Best Original Song at the Oscars. The songs are the worst part of the series. I am not a huge fan of this animated series as a whole, as it feels like it is an advertisement for the North American release of the Japanese video game of the same name. From Australia 🇦🇺
