Stevie is so talented She has proven that. During those crazy years drugs were so available. All the bands were doing drugs. Why does it always come up with Stevie… Leave that out of your comments please…

I adored Stevie Nicks. Her songs about ways that Lindsey more or less just claimed her songs like he’d written them reminded me of how my husband did me. I’d been a poet all my life & my husband an awesome musician & writer himself took to helping himself to my writings & turning them into songs without my knowledge or permission therefore making me understand how Stevie felt so she became my favorite. HOWSOEVER Christine McVie was a known rock & Roll Woman Long before Stevie was ever heard of. I loved to sing Stevie’s songs & did so every chance I got with Hubby telling me that Stevie was not a good singer at all & if I wanted him to play for me to sing I’d quit doing Stevie & start doing Christie MacVie songs which I never did. He like most men couldn’t handle it when everyone actually loved to hear me sing. But I was hooked on Stevie & I wouldn’t do Christie’s songs. Her voice was better & harder to sing than Stevie. Finally I gave him his way & stopped altogether!!! But I must say that Christie was the better all around performer. She actually played. I don’t think Stevie’s life is heartbreaking. She got exactly what she wanted & the fact that she’d aborted 4 babies really just hurt me as I’d miscarried one that I wanted more than anything. Old Stevie’s had a good long run owing much of it to Lindsey. Fleetwood Mac wanted him as a guitarist & he told them he wouldn’t go without Stevie & so She became a Star also. Stars just aren’t held to the same morals as we regular mortals do. I WOULDNT have traded my baby for all the fame & fortune in the world so I lost the biggest part of my respect there. I’ve got most of Stevie’s music but I rarely even listen to it. It brings back a lot of heartbreaking memories to me also. I hope she goes another 50 yrs. Even though I won’t be there to cheer her on. And dear Christie macvie is go on to play & sing with the Angels. My husband also. Maybe they’re doing it together., Christie is truly the original GOLD DUST WOMAN!!! SHE JUST IS!!!

As much as I like Stevie's music, and recognizing that she has had some very rough patches, it is far easier to prevail against life's storms with $75 million in your pocket. We've all seen hard times that a wad of cash would have made easier. Gog bless her.

Stevie Nick's "issues" were self-imposed. By 1976, she had a long term relationship with Lindsey Buckingham, a true musical genius; not only a brilliant guitarist but recording and production skills, musical director skills, etc. Stevie Nicks would still be waiting tables in LA if Lindsey Buckingham hadn't have insisted she join Fleetwood Mac with him, since Mick Fleetwood only wanted his guitar skills. Indeed Fleetwood Mac would have been a a washed up, has been British blues rock band if it weren't for Lindsey Buckingham's musical directorship. Lindsey Buckingham wanted to marry Stevie Nicks; "packing up, shaking" up wasn't about her sleeping around but her refusal to commit to marriage! Her tune "Gold Dust Woman" was her auto-biography! All she ended up doing was "packing up, shacking up" with the Eagles members who just did her. Now she's bitter, alone and childless, while Lindsey Buckingham finally moved on and has the family he once wanted with Stevie Nicks! Stevie Nicks is a talented singer, but I have no sympathy for her personal choices she has made in her life.
