As a pilot i think its cool because in GA sometimes the atis tells us to ask ground to start up and I’ve been told follow company a million times. Very cool game.
9:40 you mentioned forgetting the Callsign. In recent updates FeelThere has put the "Callsign" on the airstrip. So it has both the 3 digit code plus the name you'd call over the radio. Nice feature.
Greeting from Malayisia~ Just bought this game 3 days ago, love this game! Still a newbie as an ATC. Hopefully, I can learn more advanced commands by watching your videos. Looking forward to dealing with storm circumstances as well. Great video~ Subbed!
Glad you enjoy them ☺️ Any gaming headset with a microphone would be sufficient. I use an Audio Technica BPHS1 Broadcast Headset, hooked up to a Behringer X1204USB Audio Mixer, which I bought for my professional work. It's a bit overkill for gaming but the quality is worth it for RUclips content ☺️✌🏼
I know this game is Multiplayer but never tried it, so you would have one player for ground and one player for ATC not sure what other roles are avalable with the amount of Desks avalable.
Hey man! Thanks for the kind words. I use a Logitech StreamCam to capture me, recording separately. I use an old version of Sony VEGAS to edit my videos - it's a case of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and I really can't get on with Premiere Pro, which I do have.
Thank you ☺️ You can click on the planes on the ADIRS screen or on the strips screen, then go to the console using F6 and click the buttons on there to give commands, as well as type them in.
Not sure if your going to see this but was wondering if I needed to buy the color and traffic bundle for this game or if I can play the game as is without it
It's me again. Do you have time for a question? When I look at the ADIRS screen (eg. at 4m 00s) approach Rwy 10 is on the right hand side. Makes sense to me. That’s entirely consistent with the view out the Tower window - traffic passing in front of me from right to left. But when I look at the DBRIGHT screen (just seconds later) the orientation is flipped. The red hatch marks representing the approach to Rwy 10 are on the left. 9m 30s is a perfect illustration of this in action - VAL52 on the way out, FRT204 on approach. Coming in from the left - on the display anyway. I get what’s happening but feel it could be quite confusing. Is there a specific reason why controllers want to see DBRIGHT info oriented the opposite of what ADIRS displays? I know you can flip the orientation of ADIRS but at least in this situation I would find that even more mind numbing. Thanks!
ATC always uses north upward for radar. This tower is north of the runway, so as you look out the window, you're looking south, which is why the ADIRS and tower view are backwards compared to the radar. It's much more intuitive for the radar to be north up when you're assigning headings, calling traffic, etc.
Thanks for your reply much appreciated. I would like the head set if you could recommend some please. One other quick question do you think I could play this game from my MacBook Pro?
I have a Steel Series Arctis 7 which is good for gaming, but I also used to commentate using a £10 Windows Life headset. The one in my videos is the Audio Technica BPHS1 which requires an audio mixer to work. I'm not sure the game is available for Apple devices and I think it'd struggle to run it in most cases and they're not as "gaming optimised".
You don't have to wear a headset for output, but even if you don't have a microphone you can use the little console in the game by pressing F6 to type text command or use the buttons provided ✌🏼
Not sure if you've heard many British controllers but they can be more dulcet than I over the airwaves. There's no need to shout it or put a lot of animation into it. It's the sort of job role where people are known for solid, cold professionalism.
I have a question the previous version has the ability to play without voice command you could control movement with the mouse on the runway Can this version also be played without voice control?
It all depends on the specs my friend. There's a list of the recommended specs on Steam and I believe on the website too. Check those out compared to your machine and see how it lines up. :)
Maybe you can help. I set up at the same airport you used here. St Thomas. Runway 10 would not be used. only 28. Field air coming in for a landing. I cleard him for rnwy 28, he kept saying negative. I did this over and over, final I exited out! Do you have any suggestions?
Hey Pete, was this part of the campaign mission thingy? It challenged you to change runways part way through your shift due to winds. Only thing I can think of really without other specifics.
Do you have the English (United States) language pack installed on Windows? If you go into Settings and just search Language, it should come up there 😊 Also, just make sure your microphone is nice and clear, and you're not coming through too loud and clipping.
Just about the only (and it's fairly obvious) solution I hadnt' tried....DUH!!!! This is (being involved in ATC before I retired) is a MAGNIFICENT simulation. Thanks for the help Chaz.
THIS GAME IS SO ELEMENTARY AS PC GAME... THE ANDROID ''UNMATCHED AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL'' HAS WAY MORE BETTER CONTROLS,GRAPHICS AND GAMEPLAY WITH ACCURATE REAL AIRLINE NAMES...
They *are* a bit loud to be fair, but they can be turned down, and I feel it's a big improvement over the two voices we had on Tower3DPro. Adds a bit more diversity to what you're hearing, and I've found it helps me remember who is who, subconsciously, a bit easier.
Some of those pilot voices are pretty aggressive 😂

@19:20 I also got very scared and confused about that sound 🤣

Yeah usually it's one doing tower and one doing ground. Check out Episode 50 of my playthrough where I controlled KATL with my friend Jack.
Hey Chaz .....Was wondering about your stream setup ,which webcams are you using and software to edit? BTW great vids

is it worth buying world traffic and color does it work with career mode and singleplayer and all dlc?
LOL...... you're great. Is it a loading game?
Is there a good guide/tutorials to tell you what say say? And to learn generally what to do ?
I got a whiff that you're a bit of a plane nerd after yesterday's comments about Sebring being home to B25 Mitchells... 🧐

Never heard real life ATC sound like they're reading out a bedtime story to their kids .... that needs some work.

Definitely. Check out my other videos too if you need more reassurance - nearly 30-deep now ☺️

I have a question
the previous version has the ability to play without voice command
you could control movement with the mouse on the runway
Can this version also be played without voice control?
You still can, yes, using the control terminal on the bottom right of the desk. It's just a bit more clunky and difficult compared to Tower3DPro.
i need this for playstation
Do you think I could play this game on Mac?

No, it was the "quick" job. It would stay on 28 even if I picked 10. I tried several things. Only one command worked, "Go around" lol idk
