Wish I was alive during the time of the big open air festivals with the pipes and drums and rock and roll era of the 60-70s Ireland
It is. A crying shame that National radio and TV failed to appreciate the quality of Runrig
They filled venues to overflowing.
Following the Efinburgh Festival.
Popular in Germany and Denmark
Long. May their. Music. Liv

Die besten liebe die
Was there the Friday. Got too pished an regret it the nooo.
The singer looks like Brian Johnson..but theye are/were miles better than AC/DC....bye, Runrig, you'll live in our hearts forever
Überragend, aber der Sänger sollte weniger essen
pretty terrible, they sound like a clean cut religious band or something 🤦♂️
Better than most rubbish out there who cant last 3-4 yr 45yr career for runrig can't be that terrible
Performing to over 50,000 fans over 2 nights is far from terrible. They have done so incredibly well for being a band from Uist/Skye. Credit where credits due 🙌🏼
Poor Nick D obviously not a real music lover.
There is something seriously wrang wi yersel sonny,if you had 1% talent of them you would be daeing fine.
@@grahamfleming7642 Though Calum and Rory are certainly deeply religious, they're essentially Christian Gaels essentially being that Clan Donald was founded by a son of Somerled (a Norse-Gael) who was fatally wounded in the battle of Renfrew in 1164, that being Clan Donald (Domhnaill in Gaelic) had about 6 sons one of the others founding Clan Dougall
