Runrig Hearts of Old & Glory my Tribute & Thank you in 2018

- Hearts of old and Glory...This is my Thank you to Runrig for all the joy they have brought us through their music over the years. I have used footage and images I have captured of Runrig and of the wonderful Scottish landscape.
I have set the footage to Hearts of Old & Glory the version from year of the flood cd and I used a short clip of Alba, The place where the rivers run from Edinburgh 2016 & a short clip of Loch Lomand sung by Donnie Munro.
I have included some images of some of my many books, tickets and CD's too.
It is all to celebrate 45yrs of Runrig. 1973 to 2018.
I hope the Last Dance gigs on 17th & 18th August go well and I hope there will be a DVD to follow ? Because we can not make it to the gigs at Stirling :-(

Amazing footage, fits the great music my friend
Thank you very much Runrig have been my favourite band for many years now. I first saw them play live back in 1991 and we have seen them whenever we have been able to since then . They are finishing this year after playing for 45yrs!! So I felt I had to fit some of my Scottish footage and images to their music as a tribute to them.

I have enjoyed seeing your videos of religious places on your site and it just made me think of this. Also I would just like to mention to you that most of Runrigs lyrics actually have very religious meanings. There song Every River is very much about religion :D Teddy
Great tribute! If you did the filming at Edinburgh you must have been close to where i was (over on the left). Are you going to Stirling?

Yes I captured the footage of the Edinburgh Gig we were standing near a tall Yorkshire man and his blonde haired wife. They lived on or near the Black Isle.
Due to home and work commitments we are unable to make it to the Last Dance :-( Mind I think I would have got too emotional anyway ? Just hope they do a DVD of it for us :D

So long as you credit them to Teddy Wanderer yes I am fine with that. Just to say though I obviously do not make money out of my videos where I have used music.from Runrig etc... I emailed the office and they are fine with me posting footage so long as they are the ones that can make any money from advertising. So you would have to make sure you do not try to monetise it. Other than that feel free :D
I am with you. I don't get a penny from youtube. I do my youtube because i am obsessed with Runrig music and Iain the drummer is aware of my youtube and likes it! That's him next to me in my youtube photo. I bought him a burger as a reward for me being allowed to show him with me on youtube in Glasgow..... Cheers!
