Me before clicking on video: I'll have to watch half now and the other half after getting my work done. Me after 43 minutes: That was 43 minutes?! Loved it, Demi...never knew I needed to go to VA but now it's on my list. Your ride reactions, food reviews and entertainment descriptions are even more immaculate than usual. Probably my favourite video of yours. No wonder the channel has grown by 2k subs in no time xo
I’m so excited! You were in my state!😀 I live an hour away from BG Williamsburg and we are platinum pass holders. We rode Darkoaster on opening day for passholders but still waited almost 3 hours. So much fun!
I was just here on the 4th of July. Just happened to be visiting family in Woodbridge, VA and was looking for something to do on the 4th. Never in a million years would have thought I would be visiting Busch Gardens Williamsburg, but so glad I did.
I’m such a huge fan, and I went to busch gardens williamsburg 2 months ago, so I wanted to see what I missed, and then I saw myself at 3:22 😳😳😳 I LITERALLY COULD HAVE SEEN YOU IRL 😭
We used to go here a ton when we lived temporarily in the area when my husband worked at Yorktown Battlefield. Loved our experiences here. Love the new Darkoaste ride. Verboten was a huge favorite of mine also.
Hey Demi! I’ve never been to Busch Gardens, and wow…it looks like I have another park to add to my bucket list! It is absolutely beautiful and the rides look awesome. Your reactions on the rides were truly entertaining. 😀 I know how long this road trip was for you, so thank you so much for this fun video.
I am so shocked to see Captain George’s. My family LOVES that place. ❤ Anytime we go to Hampton (which is pretty frequent since we live in MD and my family is from there) we make a stop at CG. Definitely worth the mention!
You’re in Virginia?!?? Awwww man! I would have loved to have met you! My daughter and husband and I watch your videos all the time! We live in Northern Virginia and we will be in WDW this November! We always talk about how we hope we see you when we are there!
I went to Colonial Williamsburg as a kid but we didn't make it to Busch Gardens. I have wanted to go ever since and your video may finally push me to go. It looks like so much fun and a beautiful park! Love a food and wine festival, too.
@@MagicalHijinx sure is and by the way great video i watched it to see what has changed and kind of sad the wolf is gone but seeing the ride where it stood is neat because it looks like it used some of it,
Yes I completely agree! I kind of said it in the video but not having DarKastle or the Ireland ride hurts the park imo. They have really leaned into being a coaster park and I love coasters but when I came here twice as a kid, I was not a coaster person and I loved those two attractions. It made the park more unique!
I loved this video and it looked like you had so much fun! I wanted to ask since me and my friend are going in a few days. Is there any place to put bags before you get on a ride??
OMG COME TO BUSCH GARDENS TAMPA I can show you the way!! It's my backyard love BG Tampa we have Iron Gwazi which one in 2022 for best new rollercoaster
I didn’t see any weight requirements. I think as long as it closes you’re good and there is a test seat. But there is the two height requirements that I mentioned.
Well right now it’s the newest ride so everyone is rope dropping it. So if you’re actually near the front of the rope drop then do DarKoaster, but if not you might end up waiting over an hour anyway so then I would do Verbolten as a walk on.
Just for your information, Apollos chariot is not the tallest in the park. It has the tallest drop of 210 feet the tallest height for the costers belongs to Griffon at 205 feet.
I used to work at Busch Garden back in the late 80’s. I worked on the monorail taking people from the park to the AB Hospitality/Brewery tour. I played in the park on my days off. I remember one time riding The Loch Ness Monster, a storm came rolling in fast. A lightning strike hit a tree, and the tree fell on the track just after getting out of the tunnel. We were stunk on the ride. I was able to squeeze out of my harness and climb down to get help. Folks in the front seats got injured, if my memory serves me right, I think one man broke his leg. I have not been to Busch Gardens in 32 yrs and I’m planning on going in a few weeks. Sad that the Big Bad Wolf is gone, but it should be fun.
@@MagicalHijinx thanks. I moved back to VA from TX to help my parents because they are getting old and need me around. I’m planning on going May 3rd. I might be 56, but I love roller coaster.
First off, the tallest roller coaster in the park is Griffon; not Apollo's Chariot. Griffon stands at 205 feet tall while Apollo's Chariot is only 170 feet tall. Apollo's Chariot DOES however have the biggest drop in the park at 210 feet. Griffon comes in second at 205 feet. Second, the vertical drop on Verbolten is bigger than the one on Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Verbolten drops 18 feet while Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure only drops 17 feet. Verbolten is bigger by one single foot in that regard. Third, Alpengeist is not one of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world. That statement wasn't even accurate in 1997 when it opened. It's the tallest and one of the fastest OF IT'S KIND in the world. THAT is accurate. Fourth, Pantheon is not the fastest multi-launch roller coaster in the world (it's the second fastest), but I can't blame you for Busch Gardens advertising an inaccurate statement; and that goes for Alpengeist being one of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world as well. All of that aside, great video! I really hope that this is not seen as a hate comment because that is not how I mean it.
Apollo’s Chariot and the Griffon at night are ridiculously fun🙌🏾
I bet!!
Great POV on the coasters. You made the best of a rainy day and getting wet. 😃Animal encounters are such a bonus! So Beautiful!❤
Thanks Kathy!

Ahh, I'm a dancer in Oktoberzest this year! Glad you enjoyed the show and the park!!
You guys are phenomenal! It’s not a trip to Busch without Brats and the show!

I recommend sitting in the back of darkoaster because you miss a lot of effects in the front. The music on the ride is amazing btw!
Thanks!
Thanks for an amazing video as always

Thanks Nick!
My home park ❤ you're awesome!! Keep it up .and you're right..bgw has zoning and hight wavers for a 230 foot ride...
Ahh that’s awesome! And thank you so much 😊
The Finnegan Flyers is basically what they call a scream and swing
I love Busch Gardens Williamsburg! They have excellent food 😊 (To clarify: the non-festival food is great!)
Yes they do!
You are in my hometown, hope you had fun!
Yes I did!
I loved this video and it looked like you had so much fun! I wanted to ask since me and my friend are going in a few days. Is there any place to put bags before you get on a ride??
Yes! There are cubbies if you have small bags and small objects! If you have a big bag, they tell you to get a locker!
@@MagicalHijinx Thank you so much!!
Great video! I can honestly say I have not been to a non Disney theme park in years and forget they exist sometimes 🤣
Yes! It’s so good to try new places and I think this one is a great destination park!
RIP original DarKastle and Corkscrew Hill. The new DarKoaster seems nice but I will miss the original ride.
Yes I miss them so much
just being somewhere that isn't surrounded with gas stations, dairy queens, and walmarts is therapeutic. thanks for the video
Glad to provide the little escape for ya!
Verbolten and Tempesto are my favorites
Great choices!
Very cool place Demi I wanna go there 😎🆒👍
It’s so cool! I hope you can visit!

Does the darkoaster ride have a weight requirement, is it compatible with larger guests weight wise?
I didn’t see any weight requirements. I think as long as it closes you’re good and there is a test seat. But there is the two height requirements that I mentioned.
If we were going to do a half day at bushe gardens should I hit verbolton or darkoaster first?

why where the sides of the bridge between Germany and Italy covered up/blocking the view?
Construction
Great video! Are fanny packs allowed on rides?
You can take them on line and put them in a cubby. Anything bigger, no.
Did that little girl fall off the bench during the show in Festhaus?
Yes and you’re the first person to notice it lol
Just for your information, Apollos chariot is not the tallest in the park. It has the tallest drop of 210 feet the tallest height for the costers belongs to Griffon at 205 feet.
Yes I saw it’s 210. I actually just posted a TikTok about it!
@@MagicalHijinx the height of apollos it’s actually only 175 feet but it’s the drop that is the tallest in the park
