Yep, my dad had a seizure at work. He was on a 4 or 5 floor bldg. on the roof and fell off. No injuries.

This is one of those stories that are hilarious and horrifying at the same time. Hilarious for the sheer buffoonery of seeing Hollywood car stunts in real, everyday life and horrifying because you never want to actually encounter a driver like this in real life. Glad no one was seriously hurt.

Drunks are typically the ones that make it out alive. Had he hit Swoozie, Swooz would be dead right now, and not a scratch on the drunk. These drivers will wipe out entire families and walk away on their own two feet. I don’t know if it’s due to them not tensing up right before it happens, or what. And what’s worse is this guy will just go around telling people how not wearing a seatbelt saved his life. There are very very VERY rare cases where that happens, and usually it’s because of some fire, or moron monster trucking their SUV over some Miata. I hate how any car these days are essentially Miatas. Our full size family sedan is just as dwarfed when compared to these soccer mom mobiles.

As someone who frequently drives late at night, I very much appreciate the message of "just call that Uber" at the end. The worst part about driving drunk is exactly what you saw, Swooz. If a drunk driver hits another car, chances are pretty high that the innocent driver and/or their passengers will die or at least be permanently handicapped and disfigured. Meanwhile, the drunk typically walks away without a scratch. I cannot fathom why anyone would risk that guilt riding on their shoulders for the rest of their life.

Thank God there’s people who don’t drive under the influence. I used to smoke with friends and we’d smoke in their cars, so when we started driving on the wrong side of the road I feared for my life so quick.
