1: don't be rude to employees. Don't care care if you've had a rough day its not an excuse. I've had someone come in days after a death in their family come onto my register and had to deal with my shitty register (they were super old and sometimes prices wouldn't ring up properly) and they were still calm and respectful. I can say with certainty that your day is most likely no where near as bad. Be like them. Be nice. 2: DO NOT mess with peoples food! Regardless of what the heck they do! You don't know them. You don't know their health! Someone may comes in with some existing medical condition and you add something they specifically asked to take away or you throw food on the floor they might actually get really sick. Just don't.
I know the second one is a unpopular opinion but I want more comments like the second one because that is just inhuman it like just because someone yelled at u ur going to give them a potential Illness
Completely agree. I’ve worked in fast food and had to deal with shitty customers, and never once have I fucked with what they ordered. On the other side (even before I worked in fast food), I was never rude to employees either, regardless of how shitty my day was. There is no excuse for any of this immaturity from either side, and going after both is the best way to eliminate these problems, rather than just heaping the blame on one side in particular.

I work at a starbucks, and I've never messed with someone's food, nor have any of my co workers. The worst they've done is give people old espresso shots, or talk back at a rude customer. I promise, most fast food places don't want to give you ebola.

His friend and his girlfriend were at a diner, and the girlfriend was repeatedly sending a burger back. Finally, the cook was fed up with her, so he went out back with the party and peed on it. We all need to remember even though fast food is considered "essential" during this pandemic it doesn't mean the employees do not have feelings. We all are scared in one way or another. Be kind and thank a essential worker. My husband and I had to go through a drive thru the other day. When we thanked the drive thru worker she started to cry. Not only is the stress of working during this pandemic on her shoulders but at least 4 or 5 different cars before us were impatient and rude to her. One of the customers went as far as throwing the food in the bag at her face because the order that was given to them was meant for the car behind them. We do not know what anyone else is going thru even if the situation seems to be similar it isnt. Please keep that in mind and be respectful and kind to those who are having to work to make sure that you and your family has the essentials you need.

Stories like this makes me think they should give psych exams to people who work in fast food. Something has to be wrong with you if you think it is okay to mess with someone's food.
Okay, I worked 10 years in hospitality, (food industry specifically) It's not about whether they're crazy or not. Try to work 10hr + shifts, become doormat for customers as well as crappy managment for minimum pay possible and as little perks as there is possible. Work on 20 minutes breaks, no staff room, on your feet all day, saying same thing on the loop, in a horrid uniform made of some sort of plastic waste surely.. surrounded by people who think less of you because, damn.. you messed up somewhere (or it's a part of your journey to something bigger and better) and you happen to be on the other side of the counter and the entire evil in the world has been caused by you. YOU and noone else. Its ALL your fault. Go try. Try not to spit in burgers. Or whatever.. piss in fanta. Trust me when I say this, some individuals deserve it. Job in retail is quite literally modern slavery, so why dont you go and try it out for yourself, hm? Then please, preach about psych exams for those who somehow got stuck in the system that turns them into human punch bags. Who needs exams to check their heads is those who approve minimum pay. (2 millions people in UK are on minimum wage, statistic for 2019. In London price for a room a mnth is 600£. Minimum wage is 8.21. Should I do the math for you?) Oh, please now tell me they dont have to do it. They dont want to do it. Noone wants to do it. Ever. But sure, for some reason life made them do it. I worked with people who had PhDs, all sorts of degrees, some wonderful people.. And I've seen them all get abused for no reason what so ever. Again, and again... and again. Because it's okay. I would say theres as much wrong with abusive customer as there is with misbehaving fast food staff. Uniform dehumanise only on the outside, inside we are just a human. We react like one too, you know? And we will mess with your food if you treat us like piece of s$#t. Behaviour breeds behaviour. Amen.

and thankfully no one messed my order up because when I use to work fast food it was genuinely clean and perfect because I would make the food like I was the one who would consume it after

This is one of the main reasons I go inside to only places where you can watch them make the food. I worked at a few fast food places and I know about alllllll the stories nobody ever hears about- I've got a few of my own, but they shall never be known in this age of never being able to delete/forget the stuff posted on the internets...
Grand video!
Moral of the story: Only trust Chipotle, In-n-Out, Five Guys, or any other fast food restaurant where you can see your food getting cooked.
subway
Chipotle cuts a ton of corners health wise actually, recently got on the news getting a huge fine
No not chipotle
Chipotle cash register lady asked me what I wanted on my chicken sandwich right
I said "I wan da nooda an da rice"
Ten seconds later
She come back from the back of where ever they go and was like "what is rice"
I was like "how u no Kno Wu da rice is, YOU STUPID O' WHAT"
1: don't be rude to employees.

Yeah but that last story made them girls sound straight foul for no reason
That is why if i get a wrong order i would either just eat what i got or politely tell the employees i got a wrong order and patiently wait
But how do I know even if I am nice they still won't mess with my food based off of something I have no control over?? Like if they just had a bad day in general or had bad experiences with "certain" customers and assume I'm the same type of customer? Yeah for these very reasons I don't fw fast food unless they make it right in front of me 😅
yeah, of course, be polite to them, but if you aren't that's just messed up to give them some nasty ass shit that's been on the floor and a garbage can.
I work at a starbucks, and I've never messed with someone's food, nor have any of my co workers. The worst they've done is give people old espresso shots, or talk back at a rude customer. I promise, most fast food places don't want to give you ebola.

My teacher told this story about a cook messing with a customer's food, and it went horribly wrong. His friend and his girlfriend were at a diner, and the girlfriend was repeatedly sending a burger back. Finally, the cook was fed up with her, so he went out back with the party and peed on it. Unbeknownst to him, he had a UTI. When she bit in the burger, she ended up foaming at the mouth and ended up in the hospital. She pressed charges and was compensated.

@@JessieRambles in my adult life I have worked at several different places McD's, BK, Carls Jr/Hardee's, and Arby's. I have never seen anyone do something horrible to someone else's food. Not saying it doesn't happen but people that do that are disgusting and have no right working. I have had hot fries straight out the fryer thrown at me because I wasn't moving fast enough for one lady when in reality I was only expediting and her food wasn't up yet (I had given her screaming 2 year old , who she had sat on the expediting counter, the kids meal she ordered with her food because he was hungry since he obviously hadn't eaten in a while and it was 12:30 am). She didn't like that her own food wasn't ready so she screamed at me and threw the fries in my face. My manger got to her before I did and removed her from the store without her food. Its not worth being rude and horrible to people that would and should be home safe with their family but for the fact that essentials still need to be sold.

EVERY single experience I’ve had at THAT particular place, no matter the location here in this… lovely state… yes, central Florida…), has been… less than favorable.
Whether I was ordering my own food, or was picking up as a Grubhub or UberEats driver… no. Nu uh. I don’t know if the company and management treats their employees like trash (hence why THEY treat customers and drivers like trash), or the employees are just THAT unpleasant on a normal basis… just… no. I will drive my happy butt further to the nearest Wendys, Xaxby’s, or Sonic, IF I have any extra funds, don’t feel like cooking that night, and actually want to treat myself.
Should I do the math for you?)
Oh, please now tell me they dont have to do it.
Amen.
It’s Latasha naw fam i will easily spit in every persons food that’s nasty af and i know some of these people be nasty cause my mom is the nastiest LMAO
@@SiostraEmo stfu 😊
Effie I’ve worked in both retail and fast food. I’ve had customers, employers, and coworkers I didn’t care for. I never wanted to spit in someone’s food nor face.
I said what I said. If YOU think it is okay to spit in someone’s food, YOU are a gross and disgusting person. And you shouldn’t work in a field that you obviously can’t handle.
And that’s a you personally AND a general you.
@@SiostraEmo You don't know your customers, who they are, or what they've been through. They might be exactly in your position for all you know. So if you wouldn't want it done to yourself, don't do it to others.
This is bringing so many bad memories of working at Wendy's and the Burger King around the corner from me. Hell that BK you come up friendly and polite and they look at you like you just insulted their mother, like how dare you make them prepare food. I have a great deal of respect and empathy for people busting their ass and trying to do a good job, but zero empathy for people being malicious for no good reason. Yall are as bad or worse than the customers that made me shake and cry from berating me for someone else's simple and easily corrected mistake. Figure out your trauma and get better, don't take your crap out on other people. Seriously, get help. A lot of states have mental health programs and they can help you work through your mess.
Good.
I completely agree. I work in fast food and it always seems like there are only just a few who wanna bust their ass and others who just want to sit there and insult said people busting their ass.
hatchettwit some kids at my high school in LA told me never to order pickles on any sandwich at the Burger King by the school. What do you suppose they would do in the pickle jar 🤢🤮 They pissed in the pickle jar!
@@rexjohnson3895 wat they do lol
@@rexjohnson3895 What is with Americans? Seriously. This is unheard of in nearly any other country. You think they do this shit in Japan? Singapore? Germany? Finland? Canada?
Dude if my order smelled really bad like that I would have drove back to that fast food place and throw hands
Me too
@@halloween7275 you never did that ? You just let anyone poison you ? Pussy
@bianca prince Did you get the attention you were looking for?
@@halloween7275 Pussy.
@bianca prince The crackheads have arrived. You sound like you work at on of these fast food places.
Wasn’t there an episode on Spongebob that taught kids why it’s wrong to contaminate food. Like when Mr. Krabs and Spongebob poisoned the health inspector because they thought he was a criminal lol
Is tampering with a customer's food illegal?
Edit: it is a felony. Coulda sued that person lmao.
Best food tampering story is the guy at the McDonald's that put weed on a fish sandwich and in a kids meal cheeseburger. At the McDonald's near Quantico. Wasn't his lucky day. The FBI agent in the car, after inspecting the food and pulling over, went inside and did a felony suspect arrest, complete with gun, handcuffs and the suspect hitting the floor. He pulled federal charges for the agent and child endangerment for the kids meal.
Not worth it fam you ain't gonna make that court case profit back from a fast food salary
LUCAS BLZ lol I bet you could sue the fast food company...
