So, you're going to make the whole "We like it here" live ? I wouldn't mind, as it is an incredible show

Shaun Martin has the best solo style of all of them in my opinion! Yellow Jacket is awsome!

The man on the talk box is Shaun Martin. He is great musician with humor. When I saw Snarky puppy live he got the whole crowd laughing. He also got some great songs himself. I really recommend 'the yellow jacket' from his 7summers album.

Some of my top 10 Snarky Songs have Shaun's solos. Thing of Gold is probably one of the biggest of Shaun's even though he's on many more tracks.

Nice to see you continuing the Snarky Puppy journey. I'm urging you to check the album Sylva next. Much more orchestral compositions played with th Metropole Orkest, should be very interesting to you. The Curtain (17min long) would be the perfect one to start that album with.
    Love from Finland!

Okay cool! I'll finish off We Like It Here and then check out this one. One of my friends spent his childhood in Finland and has very fond memories of it. Cheers!

Wonderful reaction Tanguy, thanks so much! Keeping one note the same en change the rest around it: I heard it is called Pedalpoint and I love that too. I love Snarky Puppys work, and Kasper Kumpulainens suggestion 'The Curtain' is great composition to check out!

I really appreciate that! I am really behind on the schedule of what I want to react to, but it will be ok eventually. I will keep posting but probably won't be very steady about it

I love that you seem to be writing down your thoughts and coming back to them instead of pausing every 10 seconds.

All the songs on "We Like It Here" were composed in one week. Michael League and most of the band arrived SEVEN DAYS before this was recorded with just a blank page. They whipped up the entire album of songs (without a drummer) in a week.

I like to call it Feel Rock! It's somewhat varied, from rough acoustic stuff to (also rough) electronica. You can find my albums on Spotify : open.spotify.com/artist/7q3tZlgFlaZLZNvFd74GLy?si=pF9URDU1R1GcIaRYXbHtNw

@@TanguyBlanchard Yes, it is. I understand he had a stroke in 2023. They didn't say whether his recent passing was due to that. Sadly, he was only 45 years old.
