Master rule 4 was a way to slow a lot of deck ... but deck with abuse of grave was a problem! Dandylion snow brillant fusion engin ..it was easy to finish with triple firewall + 1 or 2 disruptions
banning IP and Appolousa after they reprint the card and make it afordable look like a konami move. Rip budget player one again.
They did it with the last rarity collection with baronne and borreload. Seeing them in this set made me anticipate them being banned
both of those cards already had several prints and were very affordable. Rarity Collection was just to do premium rarities for the alternate arts.
Snake eye is a problem, we had apollo and IP for 5 years and none was crying about them

It's definitely getting banned look at all the reprints . They want buget players able to use before it goes away.
Konami is fully aware that they make OP chase cards to make big money - then ban it 1-2 years later. It's a tried and true gameplan
I hate links these days there all cheap easy summon extenders which make end boards too strong these days. Wish konami starts to slow down on link card support all the T1 decks these days are heavy link focused.
I wouldn't mind link extenders if it was for a explicitly link centric deck.
facts.. links need to be more restrictive when it comes to just contacting to make something like appo
I think the biggest problem for snake eyes is promethean princess is a genetic link 3 that is an extender/recovery/interruption at ones.
Why does that card exists?

to make fire playable. just ban apo and IP a wind and a dark monster and princess would be fine what are you gonna summon raging phoenix ?
Thank you, let’s stop blaming cards that aren’t the real issue, the real issue is snake eyes and it’s combo pieces, appo is the ONLY monster that allows me to get aroubd and even have a chance at beating a deck like that, but by all means lets ban it so everyone can play snake eyes mirror match, are we having fun now?
Things are too unfair and easily abuseable. There really needs to be more restrictions in place on: 1) summon requirements, 2) effect negation. Nibiru, DRNM, and Droplet or anything similar are just necessary evils to play modern decks. At least cards like Risen Dragite have a condition of needing a water monster in the GY to use its effect.
Dragite is really how most negates should be. Even dispater is actually a pretty well designed card. You just have one deck, and by extension, another synchro monster making it broken through one interaction

As a branded player I see this as a absolute win

As soon as options appear for budget players, you get demands for bans. I won't be surprised when they do get banned since they're accessible. The simplest way to deal with Appolusa is Infinite Impermanence, Forbidden Droplets, and hell, even chalice. You can even use bait the Apolousa, then ghost ogre it

I totally agree, those two monsters are really broken. Also, those two monsters boost going 1st like crazy when going 1st is already super strong. We should get more going 2nd extra deck monsters like knightmares, zeus, ty-phon and s:p.
Fully agree that I:P and Apollo should go. Too broken and way too easy to summon. Hopefully we get into an era where there aren’t too many negates.
Apollo and accesscode are absolute aids and have limited what link 4s have been played since their release
Accescode is for going 2nd so it's fine imo
@@_Sasuke_99 It's pretty much an i win button if you summon it. There's plenty of other going 2nd cards that reward link decks and deal with boards like zealantis and firewall dragon which aren't as free advantage. Borrelsword was also pretty aids but it couldn't deal with backrow and needed 3 monsters so it's just completely outclassed

Negate summon, use Imperm/Veiler or anything that targets a monster and negates it's effect after Accesscode resolves it's on summon effect to gain ATK? @@beautifulryann
I feel they want to keep IP for a while, espevially to sell SP reprint.
But yea pretty good chance apo will be banned next banlist, as the remaining extra deck holy trinity left (alongside baronne and savage).
I think the problem is that a lot of todays achetype that can easily summon those staple (especially Apollousa) with only 1 card combo consistently. For Example: Snake-Eye, Fiendsmith, Millennium, etc.
We need more appaloosa eak cards, like one for spells, and one for traps. That way there is more variety.

The problems are generic staples yeah. But also decks like Snake Eye which spams enough monsters for an entire torunament room and has unfair mechanics, being AI generated
S:P was designed for I:P. They are from the same universe as Time Thief and Psy-Frame

Apo was reprinted in rc02 and is destined for one of the next 2 banlists. the same story that happened to Baronne and Savage
I agree that these generic extra deck monsters that are just busted have to go so I would like to see them banned but for some of them I would just want a change of their summoning requirements. I mainly mean card like borrelload savage, just put a rocket monster in his summoning requirements so that only its original deck can use it from now on, instead of banning it forever.

Little knight needs a ban
While I get where people are coming from (Apo is definitely annoying at the start of a format): in truth, Apo is only toxic when you have cards protecting it. I'd rather just ban only IP and be done with it, although banning Apo to promote extra deck diversity is also a fair reason imo.
It is annoying when protected and when accompanied by other disruptions that the player must address.
They should just rework the rules. Game is beyond fixable without it. While i agree that you can ban some cards to make it a bit more playable, I do think a few bans wont achieve anything in the grand scheme of things.
Konamis powercreep has gone to far for a long period of time now and the only way to nullify what theyve done is by changing the rules in which these cards function.
Here is one. Double LPs to limit OTKs

in order to fix the changes i think that need to happen
1-make special summon a resource AE make it like a summoning well of six points and you refresh at the end of turn
2-Limit hand trap cards that are splashable
3-Remove all omi type splashable omni negates
4-Make 1 negate for per archtype

We need dark barrier statue banned. It’s gotten as bad as floowander with wind statue with chimera abusing it. Even outside of chimera labrynth too. An ftk for non dark decks
Snake-Eyes is the real problem here IMO.
S:P is way more bannable than I:P
S:P is newer, making it less bannable. It is rare for komoney to ban the new shiny with one printing.

I suggest making a legendary cards ,which you can only use one of that category and adding extra monsters to that category, like legend cards in rush duel , so you will avoid banning cards or limitting them and you can resell the legend reprints , konami should start from here

Nothing can fix the game, the moment there is a turn 0 they jumped the shark. just sucked it up or move on
I had the link starter deck before the packs came out. Mixed it with agents angels. Anyway, Masquerana & Apollousa (sp?) is a crazy common combo in something like ABC. But IDK if folks really play that deck anymore.
Also I've just recently started playing SP: Little Knight and I wish I tried her way earlier. Such a useful Link.
The only way of fixing Links now is either a errata or bringing in a mechanic that ruins them.

If you take away the synergy with ip, the only thing sp does to the opponent is temporarily banish their monster and itself. I would say that the ability to minimize the damage from cards like evenly is also pretty powerful, but this shines more when you have layered disruptions.
Going second it can force out one disruption on summon and then remove another of the opponent's monster's temporarily.
If apollo and I:P weren't waifus people would want them banned 😂

Baronne and Savage are banned because they are omni-negates and because they negate and destroy.
Apollousa and Masquerena won't be banned.

I do agree that if appo and I:P get banned this could help the format a good bit, when you think about how people make boards they always just opt to go for: make one card combos for end board of appo, and other Omni negates then pass with like 2 hand traps left in hand, it’s the same thing every time, I’m pretty sure we all miss when we actually liked to use our in archetype boss monster because it’s actually fun to see what people come up with with strategies like that
We need more main phase activated removal effects. On summon effects are too toxic.
I mean, those are only toxic when you can summon a monster outside the main phase.

Hot take: Ban Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon and I:p. Honestly Losing apo makes nib stronger, and apo still struggles against non-monster distractions. I:p just keeps getting better overtime and it’s time to go.

Generic monsters ruin yugioh. They almost always become meta relevant and expensive then the cards to prevent that card from existing/stopping that cards effect becomes expensive and abused.
Seriously the next time you look at a yugioh deck, are you playing the engine, the archetype or the generic extra deck?
Appo's head is definitely on the chopping block. IP is here to stay though

and honestly, I think both apol and IP banned would be helpful.
For ruler, maybe after at least 2 years. They would probably nerf it in order to make it less generic, maybe by giving it the restrictions that the new chaos ma8n deck monsters have.

I:P just shows how busted Links are. Quick Synchro monsters (like Formula Synchron) aren't that absurd.
Can't compare formula to IP. Formula is an insanely difficult to summon niche synchro, while IP just a generic "contact fusion" monster that summons another one with 2 built-in interruptions
@@yacine656That's why he said it shows how busted links are. The comparison shows how the concept of accessing an extra deck summoning method during the opponent's turn via monste effect is far more balanced when you are required to meet a total level requirement vs just "modern contact fusion."
