you know... Now that I think about it, Because of his first couple of top 10's I started playing again last year around this time after 5 years. I've been following this and his videos and it has inspired me to play again and train hard to better myself. a year later I'm doing alot better than when I stopped and can pass 15's alot easier now because of playing at least 3 times a week at my local arcade with 2-3 hour sessions. I'm still struggling with some of the harder songs since my stamina is not that great but at least I'm trying right? I hope you too as well bro keep on bettering yourself too!

This list was a lot better than the previous one. I agree with plenty of it. For me Over The Period competes with Valkyrie Dimension so #1 doesn't matter a whole lot. Good stuff :)

I think Paranoia Rev challenge is harder than Egoism challenge. The stream of Egoism is faster than Paranoia Rev because it's BPM is 440 and Paranoia Rev is 360. But for me, what makes Paranoia Rev is harder because of it's tricky pattern. The song is full of twist and jumps are everywhere. In Egoism the stream is smooth, you don't have to twist your body although you have to move faster. The ending part of Paranoia Rev is unbelievable. Abnormal twist and foot switching. I think what makes the song difficult is not just the no# of combos and stop and BPM changing. But also the twists and the arrangement of jumps.
I thought it was harder too but egoism is above everything in terms of fast streams so I doubt myself sometimes. But VDO and OTP are a whole new level of stupid and deserve 1st place meanwhile these 2 should tie in 3rd place lol
To let you know how hard #10 was to choose, I actually chose a different song at first. I even recorded all the audio and video needed until I finally decided to scrap it. You guys could probably guess some of the choices available for #10 and I wouldn't fault you if you exchanged TME for it. In the end, the variety TME offered made me choose that over quite a few others, RIP possession.
+hnkul702 honestly no. Hades is tough, but only "150" bpm, it is possible to get through it easier than others. And blew my mind ain't that bad to be honest, just a little familiarity goes a long way.
You know, you should expand the top list. How about top 20, top 30 or top 50? would wish you luck. My idea: don't put two of the same songs, just put the songs hardest stepchart to save you trouble.
My opinions since I've just finished passing all of the 18s (won't comment on 19s as I haven't tried any of the charts): -Egoism ESP is much easier than Over the Period ESP for me -Max. (period) is tough, but its ending really isn't that bad and I didn't have any trouble with it. I'd bump it way down this list -IX is really rough. I'd say it's the hardest 18 when looking at passing Overall I think your list is great and I can't make any strong arguments to replace any of these (although I might bump Egoism 440 out for a different 18), but I would rearrange them as such: 10. Egoism 440 ESP 9. Over the Period ESP 8. Max. (period) CSP 7. Trip Machine Evolution CSP 6. 888 CSP 5. IX CSP Anyway, once again these are just my opinions as someone who just went through the 18s for the first time in case anyone is interested in a slightly different take.
This list is spot on. I've passed VDE but OtPE gives me one hell of a challenge. Even I won't attempt the challenge charts for the high chance of throwing out my back. Although I can't believe I might clear OtP as EDP before ESP...I'm confused as well...

Over The "Period" is by TAG, not U1. I could understand you if you had mistaken the creator of PARANOiA Revolution (which, surprisingly, is also TAG), but Over The "Period" literally says that it's from TAG Underground Overlay, which, while a new alias of TAG himself, but it's still TAG.
PARANOiA Revolution is the easiest 19? Of course. It is the only 19 I can only do in Stepmania on keyboard. I come so close in Valkyrie dimension, halfway in Over The "Period", 1/4 in EGOISM 440, and 1/6 in ENDYMION. This is also with a DDR A theme.
What would you think about DDR adding a c400 mode for practice? Over the period challenge drops to #3 for me if it was easily readable (and valkyrie dimension 19 drops to #4)

As a person who can play a good deal of 15's and maybe 1 or 2 16's, how would you describe these difficulties (since I noticed you said MAX(.) was an 18 that sometimes felt like a 16/19?
what I mean is that if you can play 15s and 16s then you should be able to get through CSP through the slow section. After that it plays like a 17. And for final speed up like a very hard 18.
Why are these songs even considered 18s and shit. Back in like 2012 etc these songs would be considered like an 11 at max. Comparing 18s from here to custom 18 songs on In the groove is such a big difference
it might as well be dead. the new licenses are absolutely disgusting. licenses have always been the heart of DDR and they've been declining with each new installment.

I'm sorry DR.D but I feel valkrye dimensions is still the hardest song in DDR. There are more redeeming sections in Over the period Oni then Valkrye. I mean You can even fail immediately at the beginning where as over the period it stays constant and its not fast. Thats just my opinion but I respect yours also.

Failing out right in the beginning of valkyrie is still no joke for lots, but if you can manage to slip by it with some health, you'll find the rest of the song plays kinder and slower than what OTP has to offer.

+Dr. D Gaming Then the ending of VD when your all tired and worn out, that random jump at that speed. OTP only has one fast section and it only last literally 2 seconds. And then OTP stays slow. Also the crossovers can't compare to VD. Also I realized while it is streamy, its still slow even for the 32nd notes. Also the beginnings of each song. While over the period stays extremely slow for the first 20 secs, it stays at a reasonable BPM. While VD speeds up faster and faster, till it gets to that stream before it slows down. Then it hiccups all through the middle part making it hard to time. So that's my two sense why I feel VD is harder than OTP. But hey, to each there own.
I honestly don't think egoism esp is that hard, ive been playing ddr since when ace came out and have passed 4 18's, (Egoism esp, healing d vision csp, faxx csp, and possesion csp) and i can safely say that egoism esp is really easy compared to other 18's, sure egoism is draining but the patterns are really easy and there are no weird gimmicks.

I'm sorry DR.D but I feel valkrye dimensions is still the hardest song in DDR. There are more redeeming sections in Over the period Oni then Valkrye. I mean You can even fail immediately at the beginning where as over the period it stays constant and its not fast. Thats just my opinion but I respect yours also.
+ed young I think we can both admit it is debatable. Trust I spent a lot if time thinking between the two. Failing out right in the beginning of valkyrie is still no joke for lots, but if you can manage to slip by it with some health, you'll find the rest of the song plays kinder and slower than what OTP has to offer.

+Dr. D Gaming Then the ending of VD when your all tired and worn out, that random jump at that speed. OTP only has one fast section and it only last literally 2 seconds. And then OTP stays slow. Also the crossovers can't compare to VD. Also I realized while it is streamy, its still slow even for the 32nd notes. Also the beginnings of each song. While over the period stays extremely slow for the first 20 secs, it stays at a reasonable BPM. While VD speeds up faster and faster, till it gets to that stream before it slows down. Then it hiccups all through the middle part making it hard to time. So that's my two sense why I feel VD is harder than OTP. But hey, to each there own.

I have egoism 440 on osu
I honestly don't think egoism esp is that hard, ive been playing ddr since when ace came out and have passed 4 18's, (Egoism esp, healing d vision csp, faxx csp, and possesion csp) and i can safely say that egoism esp is really easy compared to other 18's, sure egoism is draining but the patterns are really easy and there are no weird gimmicks.
These charts are gross! I"m still improving my game but I'm only at around difficulty 8ish
