So I tried this and it still doesn't work, I've had a problem for days. My Xbox shows connections and everything, but whenever I try to connect to my router it says "Can't connect to your wireless network" but if I try to connect to the WiFi extender it works perfectly fine besides it lagging and being slow since the extender is downstairs. Does anyone know my problem? If anyone has had the same problem and fixed it please tell me.

Based on the comments, there are a ton of people affected by this... which is ridiculous...
I've had this issue for the last month or so and have to reset my console thru the settings 9/10 times... VERY annoying! Apparently there's no permanent fix...
