Normal has a partner song called Sentimental. They're both on the Tilberg concert. I hadn't heard the studio version of this before. As great as it is, the live one is even better. As I understand it, Normal and Sentimental view the same subject from younger and older perspectives and share a chorus in common. Both have the wider Fear of a Blank Planet theme. Glad to see more Porcupine Tree reactions. Maybe time to do the whole Anesthetize concert??
This is only the third song i have listened to by Porcupine Tree and i have liked everything i have heard ! I know you have reacted to them a few times !! What is there best album so far. I collect albums and CD's and will get this song for sure=) Thanks Todd Great Reaction !!✌🤘
It's Just My Own Personal Opinion of PTs Top Albums Which is Extremely Hard To Do: 1) Fear of the Blank Planet & Nil Recurring EP which is a continuation of the Fear of the Blank Planet! 2) In Absentia (Probably The Most Diverse Album) 3) Deadwing 4) The Sky Moves Sideways (My Favorite Psychedelic Music From PT) 5) Stupid Dream 6) Lightbulb Sun 7) The Incident 8) Signify 9) Up The Downstair I also highly recommend their live Albums: Arriving Somewhere, Anesthetise, Coma Divine, Octane Twisted and Warszawa... Also I highly recommend Steven Wilson Solo Albums: 1) Hand.Cannot.Erase., 2) The Raven That Refused To Sing, 3) Grace For Drowning, 4) To The Bone, 5) 4 1/2, 6) Insurgentes 7) The Future Bites... With Great Live Albums: 1) Get All You Deserve 2) Home Invasion, 3) Catalogue / Preserve / Amass
Brilliant!! As Jon the beloved said, this one and the song sentimental are much the same story just told in a diff way maybe, some Parts are linked! You still have so much PT to listen to Todd so don’t worry about that, not forgetting SW solo work 🤪 great reaction Todd 👍
Forgot to say, the next song cheating the polygraph is a belter, check out the live version please it’s awesome, up there with their best imo 😁 although trying to think of you have played it already! 🤪

This song called: ‘Normal’
It’s on “Nil Recurring” EP
It's quite a massive rabbit hole! Try Deadwing, In Absentia, Fear Of A Blank Planet and Lightbulb Sun for starters.
