@@TheRealDasher its in the beginning, its just like a "oooh tape from the future oooh aliens" sorta goofy, but the "footage" is still pretty disturbing
A video titled: "Hidden Message in Fred Figglehorn - Christmas Cash - Official Music Video" really freaked me the hell out as a kid when I was just looking for the song. The slow music, weird MS Paint clown makeup on the guy in the beginning and the overall nonsense of the supposed "hidden message" gave me goosebumps as I watched it on the computer in a dark ass room in the dead of night, trying to figure out what it meant. The fact that I was 8 also contributed to my reaction, of course.
one of meatsleep's main creators actually passed away fairly recently iirc, i remember me and a lot of other members of the arg community were really shocked to hear it bc the creators were all relatively young people
That one video where that one person was walking through their family's home in a loop that gets worse like in P.T fucked me up bro, it looked slightly similar to my grandma's house so everytime I went there I just felt uncomfortable 😭
I've forever been traumatized by the max headroom incident video. Something about it is just terrifying. The lighting with the distorted audio just freaks me out so much
I’ve watched Agamemnon Counterpart so many times that I now love it. It scared the shit out of me the first time I watched it. Now, I find it funny as hell. Also the music used in it is a fucking bop and you cannot convince me otherwise.
Should've commented this sooner but I forgot to, so may as well; The one RUclips video that still creeps me out is the screaming creature vid, that thingy a person made out of clay and edited a face onto it. It's funny now, but something about the inhuman noise and alien look to it still rubs me the wrong way. The fact the video doesn't fully fade out either is also freaky.
Something that scares me is traumacore, dreamcore, and weirdcore. Yet I am drawn to those things. I believe that when you die with unresolved sins and you aren’t bad enough to go to hell, you end up in a dreamcore world.
One of the cool things about meatsleep was that they were somehow making their uploads glitched, often playing audio a few extra seconds past the video's supposed runtime
the "there is nothing" video traumatized me enough. the distorted voice, sounds surrounding that voice, the look of the lady being sort of.. off. and the intention and meaning behind it. shit made me paranoid fr
@@kat3217 its hard to describe. all i know is dont watch it at night or in the dark. i made the mistake of doing that and couldnt sleep for the rest of the night
The audio in that first Meatsleep video reminds me of this one radio broadcast I pick up a lot of shortwave, but sped-up (and minus the voice, of course).
The first video was a video project to show how it's like and raise awareness for autism. I think it was for autism but overall it was a good project ngl. It does show representation on how it feels like and how scary it is for a person who have it.
what video did you see this in? been following the story behind agamemnon and as far as I know this was never a theory confirmed by the artists. don't think the original video has any pinned comments and nothing in the description about autism
I saw Agamemnon's Counterpart as a young child back in 2012 and it creeped me out as well as the supposed backstory of the video. I also seen most of the videos from Scaretheater's youtube channel.
The one that scared the crap out of me years ago was this video about aliens really being demons. The music was foreboding and the visuals were horrifying. Not to mention the topic being discussed.
@@gryphon50c I don’t remember the name of the video but it was narrated by a man named John Todd. He claimed to be an ex satanist and a part of an elite family that was affiliated with the Illuminati. Just look up his name and “Aliens are Demons” something like that
I honestly haven’t been traumatized from something on RUclips because my sense of fear is almost completely mixed up in a blender. I get scared of non scary things but stuff intended to be scary aren’t to me.
"I have the body of the pig" is funny to me for some reason. The thought of some guy or thing hanging out down in an abandoned building and just saying this nonsense when the door opens is kinda hilarious
This sounds generic but the scariest video I've seen was "Abandoned animatronics in apartment?" Connor Lechinsky who does animatronic restoration vids just the way its face is all mangled was bad enough but the moment the dude started making it move and shit I was like "nah fuck that" and still don't bother watching it to this day
The first video seems more surreal than creepy. That silent hill mention was pretty funny. Meatsleep kinda freaks me out, the Spectrograms in their videos kinda remind me of aphex twin. and the fact that most of the videos have Japanese text in them reminds me of the weird experimental videos I made with editing software for testing purposes/art purposes. And the completely improvised curse thing seems pretty plausible to me, it’s pretty stereotypical but I like it. Ps. The fact that new skin appears in the video kinda makes me wanna relisten to S.C.I.E.N.C.E by the band incubus again, they have a song called “new skin” (no relation) and it’s pretty good. Highly recommend that album btw. (Also, love the Yume Nikki/video game music used through the video. Nice taste, same for the courage the cowardly dog reference, loved that show).

Love watchin these at night and try to guess whether or not I want to turn it off and not scary myself before sleep. But still I watch because of my interest.
Agamemnon Counterpart was the first video to instill a true fear that I had no idea what the fuck was going on. Great Where the Bad Kids Go reference too
Not so long ago, I came across a RUclips video that shook me to my core, however I am unable to rediscover it. After one viewing, I seem to have lost it forever. The video in question seemed to have been about someone running through some kind of parking garage, while a figure with a large head and black robe (as far as I can remember) is approaching somewhat slowly. From what I remember, at the end of the video, the cameraman gets in the elevator, presumably escaping his chaser. Can anyone help me find this, I've been looking forever?
Ive watched this one too, i found in on a subreddit called r/cursed_videos. Also freaked me out too. I dont remember what it was called on reddit but it probably wasnt the original title anyways.
I know exactly what you're talking about. It's a video with a bunch of drunk European kids who see someone acting strange in the street so they start to bother them. Then, this person starts following them an eventually it ends in the elevator like you said. I don't know how to look for it but it was something like "disappeared kids found footage". It's a pretty popular video.
I don't remember the name of the video but I very clearly remember what was shown. It was a video of an escalator accident. What happened was, there was an old man riding the escalator and for some reason he grabbed some decorations that was hanging down from the roof. Well the decoration got caught in the steps, causing them to derail and making a gap behind the man. He then fell into the escalator. Not shure what happened afterwards. It got me good. I was scared to ride an escalator after seeing that. Scared soo much in fact that my parents had to force me to ride one. I'm 22 now and I'm still a bit weary about riding one. Tldr: watched an escalator accident on RUclips and got traumatized.
There were videos I did found scary on RUclips as a kid, one of them is known as SpongeBob plays Saw, a fan made 2D animation series about SpongeBob and Patrick in environments that bare resemblant to Saw, and it's unsettling because of the music being unsettling and blood and the unexpected traps, like when a red hair character opened a door with a shotgun trap that shotted him and died.
Apparently Agamenom Counterpart was made for some kind of video contest back then and won (maybe?), and honestly what I wouldn't give to be a person at that contest who had to watch that. Like nowadays this kind of content is overdone, but imagine being in like 2010 and seeing this shit.
The first subject/Agamemon Counterpart actually did give me some trama and i could not sleep without being with someone for 5 days But meatsleep makes me wanna cry in fear I also had 2 ghost incounters, one when i was 6 me and my brothers heard the sink turn on by its self and we got shaken up since the bathroom was near our room like right across were we all were, the 2nd time i was staying up alone in my room and then i heard loud footsteps outside my room and it was at 4AM i was so scared
Body of a Pig never scared me, mostly because Scare Theater spoiled it for me when he said it was fake. And I never got scared, it just annoyed me when people passed it off as real. 😅
okay but with the "I have the body of a pig" person one other video stood out to me... It was the haunted painting one. I used to have that paining. It would seem to look at me and as a child I would make my mother cover it or hide it, but the sheet would always be moved in the morning. Probably just false memories but still freaky.
What really scared me as a kid was I think it was some sort of Capri Sun ad and the edited it to have like a giant monster that was like melting people's faces off it truly scared me
A video that still freaks me the hell out at 18 is the wpk video. I know that many don't find the video scary but the blurred image and the background noise KILLS ME EVERYTIME. It's so unnerving it drives me insane
Hey Chrocilfer, I randomly ran across your channel tonight while I was spiraling down the rabbit hole 🌀 looking for something new, and ended up clicking on this one. Dude "I have the body of a pig" literally made me sick to my stomach hearing it for the first time. Now I fondly remember it lol but I was like 12 at the time and it scared the absolute fuck out of me. I felt weird for days after lol.
The RUclips video that scared me the most was “I feel fantastic”. I remember when I saw it the first time when I was a teen and then I didn’t watch it ever again until last year or this year (anything for views right?) Even when I just heard the sound I would freeze up and start crying for no reason whatsoever. I couldn’t even watch scary RUclips video icebergs without trying to skip that one part simply because my brain associated the video with extreme anxiety… I still can’t watch it all the way through or hear the song.
Ingrate is where something happened between 2 people. Circle was where they escaped and trying to find a way out. And the last one this is not a coda is where the other person or thing has found them.
As someone who was an older kid when a lot of these were popular-and is now an adult parent-I’m so happy the next generation is getting just as scared.
I always remembered Agamemnon Counterpart from watching it a long time ago, but couldn’t find it because I had long forgotten the name. They way it’s disturbing holds up after all this time.
My theory for ingrate is that the voice we're hearing is some kind of delusional person. They kidnapped someone, thinking that they were doing them a favour and start calling them ungrateful when they don't want to stay.
Oddly enough for me, the fear of if I'm at the beach and the tide goes back (signaling a tsunami) and my parents don't believe me that a tsunami is coming.
Ok here is one thing that scares me Screams of pain it scares me a lot especially if it's loud I literally wanna start crying if I hear someone screaming in pain even if it's in horror movies it doesn't matter if the video or movie or whatever it is is fake or real it still scares me and make me wanna cry because I hate hearing people in pain it's just makes me nervous, Uncomfortable, and makes me wanna cry :(

What’s it about?
@@fayesan6094 i havent watched it in a long time, but from what i remember, it was a video of these mannequins with a creepy song that went “i feel fantastic”. i guess typing it out like this makes it seem less scary, but i remember being incredibly unnerved as a child. it felt like watching serial killer clips
I'm 48 and it still creeps me out.
Nothing traumatized me more than Contignency from Local58. It still haunts me. I can hear the distorted "my country tis of thee" in my head still
Contingency is legit one of the most disturbing videos I’ve ever seen. One of my favorite analog horror things.
i loved the way you made this video the editing, the script, and the music brilliant bro well done.
2:35 Dudee same, its the screaming that makes it unsettling. I also appreciate you for using Scaretheater's clips, I actually knew all these videos because of him. Anyways, loved your video!
Agamemnon Counterpart was so scary as a kid even my grown ass brother was creeped out 😭 but the backstory made me less scared

wait, so theres a backstory for that vid? what is it then?
@@TheRealDasher its in the beginning, its just like a "oooh tape from the future oooh aliens" sorta goofy, but the "footage" is still pretty disturbing
I remember in my mind that it was "the forbidden video" that will curse you. When I first saw it as a kid I froze in terror. Now it's just weird.
I remember finding agamemnon counterpart back in the day and it still haunts me to this day
A video titled: "Hidden Message in Fred Figglehorn - Christmas Cash - Official Music Video" really freaked me the hell out as a kid when I was just looking for the song.
You randomly popped up on my recommended and idk what it is specifically, but your style of videos I find pretty funny
one of meatsleep's main creators actually passed away fairly recently iirc, i remember me and a lot of other members of the arg community were really shocked to hear it bc the creators were all relatively young people
That one video where that one person was walking through their family's home in a loop that gets worse like in P.T fucked me up bro, it looked slightly similar to my grandma's house so everytime I went there I just felt uncomfortable 😭

The videos that traumatized me were those top 10 cryptid sighting videos and seeing them scared the shit out of me
Should've commented this sooner but I forgot to, so may as well; The one RUclips video that still creeps me out is the screaming creature vid, that thingy a person made out of clay and edited a face onto it.
It's funny now, but something about the inhuman noise and alien look to it still rubs me the wrong way. The fact the video doesn't fully fade out either is also freaky.
It's kinda creepy but I also can't unsee it looking like a weird edit of Jerma
I have the body of a pig has been terrifying me for years.
I swear it looks to real, it's just so unsettling.
Something that scares me is traumacore, dreamcore, and weirdcore.
Yet I am drawn to those things. I believe that when you die with unresolved sins and you aren’t bad enough to go to hell, you end up in a dreamcore world.
some people might prefer that
9:22 I hate how that thing seems to just teleport out of view after the camera pans to it.
It's a cat running up the stairs. Probably has a bad case of zoomies. It has the tail and everything. I think it's pretty cute.
To me the scariest video I saw was called “Illusion of Bias” that shit freaked me out so much that I still refuse to watch it to this day
oh shit same, i remember watching it as a kid and it scared me too
tho looking back now, i find it more tragic than scary
@@martinaelyse9152 I do get the message they tried to tell in the vid, but my god years later and I still do not want to watch it again
I have a fear of pigs so that "I have the body of a pig" video used to scare me so bad
These videos are pretty tame by today's standards, but God Meatsleep will always be horrifying.
I am not watching these without his commentary. It makes it less creepy
1:26 I believe this is what the inhabitants of that certain blue planet refer to as a 'joke'
The most scariest videos are obviously those asmr comfort roleplay
One of the cool things about meatsleep was that they were somehow making their uploads glitched, often playing audio a few extra seconds past the video's supposed runtime
3:20 i dont know why but i felt immediate joy hearing Lavender town start playing lol
the "there is nothing" video traumatized me enough. the distorted voice, sounds surrounding that voice, the look of the lady being sort of.. off. and the intention and meaning behind it. shit made me paranoid fr
What it is like, I want to look it up but I’m scared 😅
@@kat3217 its hard to describe. all i know is dont watch it at night or in the dark. i made the mistake of doing that and couldnt sleep for the rest of the night
@@kat3217 it definitely makes u feel uneasy and terrified of everything around you
The audio in that first Meatsleep video reminds me of this one radio broadcast I pick up a lot of shortwave, but sped-up (and minus the voice, of course).
The first video was a video project to show how it's like and raise awareness for autism. I think it was for autism but overall it was a good project ngl. It does show representation on how it feels like and how scary it is for a person who have it.
wow, i did not know that.
@@rusticmaple8771 I think the video itself explained it a bit better. There should be a description or a pinned comment to read it.
@@rusticmaple8771 nvm but it was an art project for something....I did read it it was for awareness somewhere... But it was a long time ago
what video did you see this in? been following the story behind agamemnon and as far as I know this was never a theory confirmed by the artists. don't think the original video has any pinned comments and nothing in the description about autism
@@TheGreenRaven303 idk for sure... All I know the video explaining is old but used to be many theories but I'll send the link
Do you remember what it was called? Sounds trippy
4:08 no don’t worry, I got the reference. I see we’re both true internet OGs and creepypasta veterans 💀👌🙏
This sounds generic but the scariest video I've seen was "Abandoned animatronics in apartment?" Connor Lechinsky who does animatronic restoration vids just the way its face is all mangled was bad enough but the moment the dude started making it move and shit I was like "nah fuck that" and still don't bother watching it to this day
@Olivia 757 I know they're harmless but still
Just Found Your Channel Today. And I Absolutely Love You’re Channel So Far. Keep Up The Good Work!.
“I feel fantastic” has always been one that has disturbed since I first saw it years ago
To me “I feel fantastic” and “there is nothing” are by far the scariest things I’ve ever seen in my life. And I’ve been on Best Gore 😱

when i saw your viewcounts i was very suprised, like the quality o your content tells me that you should have 500k +... keep going dude, i truly believe youll get there. Ima start watching your videos
my favorite thing about meatsleep where there was an apparent glitch where during one of the videos where it would mess up the audio and even after you clicked off the video you could hear it. (it's been a long time since ive gotten into meatsleep stiuff so if the glitch is wrong, it's on me)
The first internet video that scared me was Rubber Johnny…mostly the intro…obviously, it morphs into something kind of fun and satirical but seeing that intro back in the day was like 😶. Also the hand demon…that’s probably my favorite horror themed YT video of all time.
I love how the pig man grunts after saying that just to confirm he indeed has the body of a pig
Love watchin these at night and try to guess whether or not I want to turn it off and not scary myself before sleep. But still
I watch because of my interest.
Try posting something on tip of my tongue on Reddit- they could help if you’re really desperate to find the video
It's darude sandstorm

Ive watched this one too, i found in on a subreddit called r/cursed_videos. Also freaked me out too. I dont remember what it was called on reddit but it probably wasnt the original title anyways.
I know exactly what you're talking about. It's a video with a bunch of drunk European kids who see someone acting strange in the street so they start to bother them. Then, this person starts following them an eventually it ends in the elevator like you said. I don't know how to look for it but it was something like "disappeared kids found footage".
It's a pretty popular video.
7:35 I gotta say it's hard to be brave, when you're:
Bro the quality of ur videos is immaculate👌🏻
Underrated af
The first subject/Agamemon Counterpart actually did give me some trama and i could not sleep without being with someone for 5 days
But meatsleep makes me wanna cry in fear
I also had 2 ghost incounters, one when i was 6 me and my brothers heard the sink turn on by its self and we got shaken up since the bathroom was near our room like right across were we all were, the 2nd time i was staying up alone in my room and then i heard loud footsteps outside my room and it was at 4AM i was so scared
I find some particular paintings even mona lisa spooky
What really scared me as a kid was I think it was some sort of Capri Sun ad and the edited it to have like a giant monster that was like melting people's faces off it truly scared me

Your video editing is really good! Your style is attention-grabbing, and your voice is upbeat and easy to listen to. Just wanted to say thanks, from Las Vegas 😎
Dude "I have the body of a pig" literally made me sick to my stomach hearing it for the first time. Now I fondly remember it lol but I was like 12 at the time and it scared the absolute fuck out of me. I felt weird for days after lol.
My traumatizing video experience is the one with the hands coming out of the walls. I was like 8 and was forced to watch it at night.
The scary part is that jumpscare
The RUclips video that scared me the most was “I feel fantastic”. I remember when I saw it the first time when I was a teen and then I didn’t watch it ever again until last year or this year (anything for views right?) Even when I just heard the sound I would freeze up and start crying for no reason whatsoever. I couldn’t even watch scary RUclips video icebergs without trying to skip that one part simply because my brain associated the video with extreme anxiety… I still can’t watch it all the way through or hear the song.
These give me a.. nostalgic feeling about the RUclips horror genre-
god i remember how bad agamemnon counterpart scared me a few years ago. still just made me turn on all the lights in my house
Ingrate is where something happened between 2 people. Circle was where they escaped and trying to find a way out. And the last one this is not a coda is where the other person or thing has found them.

My theory for ingrate is that the voice we're hearing is some kind of delusional person. They kidnapped someone, thinking that they were doing them a favour and start calling them ungrateful when they don't want to stay.
