I can't wait to get a B58 someday. I plan to get more money, sell my stock 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8, and buy an M240i xDrive. I have never been in a turbocharged car. My 348 horsepower car is the fastest I have experienced haha.
I went from a FBO Veloster Turbo making around 240whp and first drive in a Tuned M240Xi i was definitely hooked car was so fast for so little mods
That xdrive is not going to win you races. The extra weight and parasitic loss of the awd will lose to the rwd cars out there.

M340i has like 500lbs on the Supra but have the exact same motor and trans if the Supra is a 6-port
2 port* tu engine
Only A90 come with 2 port exhaust. A91-latest has 6 port same as 340i

B58 offers better performance potential for relatively cheap prices and also its better if you're looking to daily it/race it on the streets. S58 is more for the track

What makes cars lose control like that? Was it not warming up the tires?
dead hook tends to do that. Picture both wheels with the same sticky tires rotating equally. the driver is used to a certain amount of grip or spin. But lets say some how one tire isnt as sticky as the other via lower or higher pressure? difference in temperature. What ever it is. If one tire grabs harder and the other tire spins it will dive and FAST. Also rear sway bar or links or bushings could also be a factor. a bad shock could also do something similar.

We personally don't use crank numbers, mostly actual dyno numbers or rough estimate...
