i will attempting this modification soon, ordered my kit already. My question is, does the motor stop automatically when going up and down or it will keep winding even after window is all the way up/down? Great video!
Great vid, how did you go about routing the wiring to the switched live ? Did you use abit of conduit? And if so does it get caught when closing the door. Best wishes, Will
To be honest I'm still very sceptical of purchasing one of these kits. They have no instructions, there are also a plethora of small plastic parts I see no use for. Can you explain the kit any better please.
This definitely is something I had considered originally, but because my dash didn’t have the central console I decided that I’d keep them on the door for that reason. It would also result in less wires in the doors, so it probably would be the better way of doing it. Hoping to get a 110 defender next, which I’ll be doing the same mods on, but using what I learned from these to save time and money, and improve the modifications.
This is so easy to install all the others are complicated, thanks a bunch
You're welcome!

I suppose you could always make the cabling longe and have a switch on the dash
